We didn't have the best experience with our U-Haul rental. We originally reserved a 10-foot truck, which was the appropriate size for our move, but when we arrived, we were told they had run out and were given a much larger truck instead. It was completely oversized for what we needed and made the drive unnecessarily stressful. We also ordered two dollies but only received one, which made the moving process more difficult than it needed to be. Lastly, we specifically chose a location that advertised 24/7 pickup, and we even received confirmation the day before that everything was set up for self-service. But when we arrived early in the morning, the system told us we needed assistance from a staff member, and we had to wait around until 7 a.m. for someone to show up. Overall, it felt disorganized and inconvenient.
DOUGLAS BThe “staff” here said they were too busy to check in the vehicle when I dropped it off around mid day on Wednesday and said they might not even check it in until the next day!

Calvin HGravel parking lot no info about anything anywhere just trucks sitting in a lot. Also truck door was bent like someone had tried to break in so it had wind noise my whole trip and also leaked while driving in the rain which dripped in the seat and soaked my back the whole trip.
Sean CMaintenance is key.. Out of spec alignments and squeaky brakes do not inspire confidence.
