The time I was told to pick it up was unavailable. So I had to come back 4 hours later and pressed on time for a 12 hour drive. 1 of the ramps was only held in by a cheap bungee cord, 1 of the safety chains rubber piece was missing to hold the car in place and the electric plug was corroded and 2 of the back tires were low and brake fluid was almost out and had to be added to out of my own pocket. Would not recommend this place.

It appears that U-haul is a secondary concern for this location. Was left to hook up the car trailer and load it on my own. Wheel straps did not reach around tires. The location did not have extensions. The owner recommended two things that he had in his store neither of which would have worked. I had to go and purchase extensions elsewhere. Overall it took over three hours to leave the location with truck and trailer. Far different experience than renting from an actual U-haul location.

Very friendly and curtious staff. On a rainy ,stressful Christmas Eve, staff assisted by pumping gas and telling me everything will be all right and it turned out to be.

This location was picked by a Uhaul representative and it was NOT convenient for me. From the location I was coming from initially, it was an hour down a very narrow and curvy road. From my final destination it was another hour through curvy and busy roads. I would have liked another option, 30 miles of highway would be easier than 19 miles of curvy 2 lane back roads. I will not be reserving a uhaul again, I will just call around and find one myself somewhere convenient

Do not rent a uhaul from these guys. They charged my credit card twice for 300. Then told me my card didn't go through. Told me I would have to pay cash.I payed cash and the guy didn't want to give me a receipt. Only after asking multiple times he finally hand wrote me a receipt and signed it as Sammy. Idk if that was his real name but I know Sammy is the store owner. After I brought the uhaul back they told me that I would have to pay extra for gas,they said that I brought it back with less gas than I got it. And that wasn't true, I have the photos to prove it. And to add insult to injury they charged me an extra 175,4 on my card. When I called uhaul it shows up as i only paid 262 cash. So now im out 36 dollars plus the extra 175. Worst experience I've ever had in N.C

I replaced the gas in the uhaul, to the exact place it was when I first rented the uhaul, but was still charged 15 $for gas. I even had a picture of the gas needle and showed the man. He said I was being charged anyway. So I was charged double for gas! The truck was dirty and had dog hair in the front also.

There was a dent on the front bumper that was not marked with X's. This caused my a lot of stress and I was charged 768 $. But then Ingelside said they knew about the dent and the charge was removed. So it ended as a happy story but it would have been perfect if Ingelside had just marked the dent.

We needed the trailer to pick up some furniture, when we got there it took about 45 minutes to check in. No one was there we were the only ones and it still took that long. When we get to finally hook up to the trailer it was full of wet leaves dirt spider webs and was just nasty. I cleaned it out and used it because it was the only one they had and I had an appointment and didn't have time to change anything. I saw a sign saying if it was dirty when I returned it there would be a 15 $charge. So maybe I should get 15 $back for having to clean it to even use it? I talked to a rep through the U-HAUL website live chat and when I explained what happened the only thing they said was “Did I tell the person that it was dirty? I told her they were standing there and saw it and saw me cleaning it and after said I was good to go and walked off. She then said okay I will put a note in. And that was it. So all in all the trailer done what I needed it to but it was definitely a headache and I probably won't be using them again.

I wasn't very happy gas tank was empty the guy I got it from told me to put 10 $in it well when I got my receipt I was charged for gas and cleaning fee and the truck was clean

The area that this location is in does not have good Verizon Cellular internet service so it is slow and inefficient for booking on the Web. It tried to charge me Twice for the rental and for 28K miles of driving and i had to retake photos! The owner of the store was cooperative though.

Store clerk gave me his busted cell phone and asked me to go back and take a picture of milage and gas needle. When I get home and get email receipt, I am furious that I was charged a 25 $cleaning fee & the guy never went from behind the counter!!

I called to make reservation and they said everything was set to pick up in the town i was needing and dropping of in the town where we were unloading. Got a call the next morning from the uhaul place They had scheduled to tell us they were not open on the day we needed to pick truck up and it was in a different town 25 minutes away. I called back to fix it. They finally got it scheduled where it was suppose to be picked up in first place. Nice lady at the pick up spot. Truck had a cracked windshield and the back hadnt been swept out. Truck drove good. No problems with it. Looked at reciet to see if the place we needed to turn it back into allowed drop off after hrs. The receipt said we were suppose to drop it off in the next county over. Called again and explained the situation. I was told that she had down the place that we wanted as the right address . With all the other glitches we decided to drop in off to a live person. We dropped truck off and the man told us that it was showing that it was suppose to be dropped off in the other location, (next county over) then tryed to put it through a second time and it went through. Friendly staff but the glitches in maybe the computor program made the move more stressfull.

You need to put in cruise control drove almost 12 000 miles have bad knees really sucked. If you don't put it on trucks will look other companies that have cruise. As of they person pickup up from what a great guy would get a truck from him anytime. Loved his personality great person.

Customer service rep that was working did not know how to do a uhaul rental, so she had to call someone on the phone who did it. She wasn't new this is something that is done often there. I was told to return truck with 1/4 tank, that it had 1/8 tank, he was credited me for the gas. Upon entering the truck I was I noticed it actually was on empty, so I went back in. The representative stated that I could talk to the person on the phone that handles it cause she was tired of being the middle man. So I did, he stated that we wasn't aware of that but that he would give a second credit (which I did not receive). The in-store rep wasn't rude, but wasn't informed or knowledgeable on uhaul, not to mention I reserved it, so it looks like someone would of at least been there that knows what they are doing. Also I used a card to pay and was never informed of 100 $until I received the receipt.

First I had to spend over 1 hour on the telephone with someone. He had to start over 2 times for some reason or another. He was not very prepared to take care of business on the phone. I was told the cost of the dolly was 44,95 $ then I was charged 98,44 $. Did not say a time to return dolly whe I told him it would be next day. I was very dissatisfied wit the overall experience and will never rent from this person again. The owner of the store there was very nice and helpful but the man on the phone was not

The clerk was very nice and tried to do everything to help. However, the truck had not been driven in months or years. There was no oil in the truck so we had to purchase 5 quarts to be on the safe side so that we could make it over 200 miles. Called made to the District manager who informed me to purchase the oil and he would reimburse me for the oil.

I did online reservations for 8am for 10-14-18 and get there for pick up no one there to get me my truck,so had to return at 10 when someone who could,i had a reservation for specific time and mover also so had to change everything that cost me more money than i plan on.I will not use Ingleside Grocery Uhaul services again??????????

I believe there were new owners at this location but when I got there I had to wait over an hour to get the truck. There was also inaccurate information in the system that took a while to correct. Since this was a new owner and system I had to enter all of the information myself. The truck was clean it just took a long time to check in and out.
