Had rental for 2 days was charged for 9. Called to get it taken care of and was told he knew nothing about it and gave me a number to call. I spoke with Linda in customer service and got it taken care. Would not recommend this place.

becky T.When we went to pick up truck, the computer was down and they couldn't get program to run.Ended up using Our phone to check in. Got keys to truck and no one went to show us how everything worked. Truck was very dirty inside and out. Mud on floor boards. We took pictures of the truck. Could not get back to open and had to get someone to help us. The dolly we rented was not in the truck. They had to search for a dolly. Our destination drop off in Knoxville changed due to heavy snow coming down. The staff at the modified drop off destination were wonderful and courteous in letting us drop it at their location.
Sharon J.Personnel was not trained well on returning or anything to do with U-Haul. Drop off was at a mechanic shop which was cluttered, no desk area. Personnel did not seemed to be concerned if we returned merchandise or not. Very shady looking.

Philip S.I booked and paid for our uhaul online and when we arrived the man said “it don't work that way†and started the process all over again and ran our card again which resulted in me being charged double. When we got into the uhaul it was on E, we were only moving 4 miles so we moved in 1 single trip, but We filled the tank to where we were SUPPOSE to fill it when we dropped it off and he said he needed more money for gas and took 5,00 $ cash from us as well. We will NOT use this location again to rent a uhaul from.
Faith D.THE CAB OF THE TRUCK WAS FILTHY AND HAD TRASH FROM MCDONALDS IN IT. NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. THE AMOUNT OF GAS THAT WAS DOCKED ON OUR RECEIPT WAS NOT CORRECT THERE WAS LESS IN THE TANK BUT MADE SURE WE FILLED IT UP TO WHAT WAS ON OUR RECEIPT DISAPPOINTED!!
KIM B.First time dealing with this location. I just dropped a trailer off. Easy to find. Easy to drop off. I dropped off after hours, but called the next morning to make sure they were aware, and they had already handled it. I'd use the again.
Edward D.Arrival at jack creech garage , no one seemed happy to see me , I was informed that the uhaul I rented was EMPTY! “Hopefully you make it to the gas station†was actually spoken. Seems like the garage should have addressed the no gas issue and if they had they would have found out what I did after pumping 100 $worth of gas and getting up the mountain to help my father in law move .... the previous renter damaged the bottom of the gas tank and Ill repaired it. Gas was leaking everywhere. Uhaul did take care of the problem however I lost 17 hours of my rental and had to drive 60 miles round trip to get a new truck. This was a horrible rental, perhaps I will try Ryder or Penske next time.

Aaron M.I'd take this garage's contract from him, he is barely capable of communicating elements of the rental and didn't even have everything I ordered from Uhaul. I reported this through the 800 number, and was told I would receive a credit for the cost of the missing item and a credit for having to clean our own truck (it was filled with water and we had to spend about 30 minutes getting all the water out). I have no idea if we were credited as we paid up front.

THOMAS N.When I went to drop off the rental on a Friday at 10:30 am, there was no one at the designated drop off location. I put the key and copy of the contract in the designated U-Haul drop box, took photos of me putting the key in the drop box and of the truck in the parking lot. I repeatedly tried calling the number on the contract, but could never get an answer. I received an email the next day billing me for an extra day of rental stating that I didn't return the truck until Saturday. I sent an email explaining the situation. I am still waiting for a response.

marlon N.I arrived and the owner of the garage was on his smoke break with two other employees. When I asked for help attaching the trailer to my vehicle, Jack Creech told me “We've been working all morning and we're on our break right now.†This is not an acceptable to speak to paying customers. I had to go out and try to attach the trailer myself. The owner was more concerned about getting on his computer and completing the sale rather than making sure I had the right ball hitch to attach the trailer. I had to refuse to give my credit card until he helped me in order to get the point across. I would NEVER use this location again.

Christopher M.The truck was filthy. The back was so dirty I had to clean it before putting my furniture in it. The front was filled pet hair and a chewed up tennis ball. Couldn't believe UHaul rented a truck to us in that condition. Appalling. Was then charged a cleaning fee for someone else's dirt. Had to visit drop off location again to get the fee reversed. We don't even own a pet. Jack needs to make sure he cleans the trucks before renting them.

richard S.The truck inside and the trailer were filthy. I have pictures to prove it. The drivers side door doesn't shut all the way. You can physically see that. The engine sounds like it's going to explode while accelerating.
Michelle B.When you upgrade your rental software, test it first off line, do select beta testing . Then after it all checks out notify all rental locations of changes and have strong technical support on hand to resolve any issues after the upgrades. It will solve many issues with all your rental locations and with your customer base that rents your equiptment so everything goes smoothly during and after the point of sale...
DOUGLAS B.I am upset that I am being charged extra because instead of taking the uhaul to the original destination I took it to a location that was closer and then I got penalized and charged for it. That is not right.
Byron J.Very slow process, then I had to hook up the trailer to my vehicle by myself. It was cold that morning but would have thought they would have helped me. They did offer if i needed help to come get him. Not very professional or customer friendly.
LLOYD W.The truck only had a 1/4 tank of fuel when picked up. Recommend that trucks be required to be returned full so the next customer won't have to guess on how much fuel to add to complete the trip.

DENVER M.There was no one there to help us back up the trailer. Plus the area you had to back up in was off a very busy road into a small space that was a steep downhill type area. My daughter and I had to back up, unstrap the car amd remove it all our own. No men anyone to help us gals out. It was extremely stressful. The place was clean and inviting. However the area to park the trailers not so much. The people are nice there, don't get me wrong.

wendy M.Your on-line reservation process is the worst I have ever seen. Customer information supplied by the customer is not stored,for use while checking out the equipment at the pick-up location. The pickup location operator, after three failed attempts to initiate the rental so the customer could depart, had to resort to calling the U-Haul support people to finalize checkout by the customer. Very poor site...

I dont blame them, i blame uhaul for booking a location that did not have the size of truck i rented. Then send me to another place to pick up a truck way bigger than i needed & without equipment i needed.

SERENA M.The Auto Center in Middlesboro Kentucky did not have a UHaul for us. We had to add extra mileage to go to Tazewell Tennessee to pick up a truck. Which also cost us time. The rental place in Middlesboro looked like something in a 3rd world country. The guys were not even nice and really didn't care that we had driven 8 hours to move some furniture for my mother. UHaul needs to inspect places like this.
