He has no office. Makes you wait outside under a tarp for paperwork. I never received any paperwork or signed anything. When I returned the truck I get a text from him saying I owed over 300 and there was a promissary note. I told him all of the information he put was wrong. Then he tried charging my card several times after I told him I was calling corporate and to not charge my card. He tried at least 6 times all with different amounts. He tried calling on an unknown number trying to get me to answer. I had to lock my card. I will never go back to this location again. I should have walked away when he made me stand out in the rain and it was 34°

The trailer had a mechanical failure in brake system. Uhaul dispatch did not have a viable solution. I-95 Holiday traffic, construction zones, no shoulder, raining, and had to pullover in grassy area. Took me 10 hours to get home - should have taken 4. I had to keep pulling over and resetting brakes - got home 0230. Request refund for one day of rental charge.

Warren RI reserved an appliance dolly, followed up with Customer Service twice who indicated they sent verification to Jackson Automotive who did not reply. When I picked up the truck, there was no dolly. I was moving appliances. I added miles to the truck driving to different hardware stores trying to find one to buy or rent. This is the third bad experience I have had with Jackson Auto.
EVERETT TBME Storage was amazing! U-Haul not so much! The breaks didn't work and we got rained on the entire drive. We contacted several people and nothing has been resolved. No one got back to us. We reported the problem because that truck was supposed to be picked up by another customer and we didn't want anyone to get in an accident. They took the truck for repairs but we were not contacted about resolving our problem. Terrible customer service. I feel like you just kept ignoring us until we got sick of contacting people. We have rented uhauls several times before and never had a problem to report. You would think customers (especially repeat customers) would be taken care of in a timely manner or even just taken care of. Horrible experience with "customer service" if you'd like to call it that! I call that a disservice…. I would expect a discount on the price at the least! Should've been fully refunded since not only were we soaking wet AND freezing but the worst part was the breaks not working properly. We could've died were I driving and not my husband who has experience driving large vehicles, hauling, and towing trailers….. shame on you!

William ZThis location was in no where's ville. I was expecting a business and that is not how I would describe it. Also, the place was supposedly open until 7. When we arrived at 5:30 there was an open sign but no one was there. We had to use the app to check out. The problem with that is you don't have very good service. It took over a half an hour to checkout because every time you did a picture it would say can not complete this process and go back to the beginning. Each time it went a little further until finally it said complete.

Leslie BI was pleased with both locations I used but not with the overall uHaul experience. I paid $2000 for a uhaul for a move taking me 3 states from home, and booked my equipment several weeks in advance. I believe at least 2 maybe 3 or so. I got a call the day before telling me that in order to get any truck at all I was going to have to drive almost an hour away from my home to pick it up. I get there, and they have a truck for me, but only have half the requested furniture blankets and neither of the types of dolleys I requested. They gave me a different dolley instead, but it was an appliance dolley and we weren't moving any appliances and it barely worked for what we needed it for. I didn't have to pay for what I didn't get, but when planning a move of this size and magnitude you would think that if you order something it will be there for you when paying several thousand dollars. Also, I requested to pick up from a uhaul store 10 minutes from my house. I have a hard time believing that the closest pickup available was almost an hour away from an area the size of williamsburg and james city county. When you're dealing with your last few days in town and everything is planned out in minute detail as to what needs to get accomplished and when, this kind of disruption with almost an extra 2 hours of driving was disasterous to the plans we had made already.
