The gentleman that I met with was super nice. If it wasn't for the uhaul trucks sitting outside his home I may not have entered his outdoor enclosure. There were tarps as buildings. I would be concerned with snakes. But, it was overlooked with the niceness of the gentleman.

William ZThis location was in no where's ville. I was expecting a business and that is not how I would describe it. Also, the place was supposedly open until 7. When we arrived at 5:30 there was an open sign but no one was there. We had to use the app to check out. The problem with that is you don't have very good service. It took over a half an hour to checkout because every time you did a picture it would say can not complete this process and go back to the beginning. Each time it went a little further until finally it said complete.

Leslie BI was pleased with both locations I used but not with the overall uHaul experience. I paid $2000 for a uhaul for a move taking me 3 states from home, and booked my equipment several weeks in advance. I believe at least 2 maybe 3 or so. I got a call the day before telling me that in order to get any truck at all I was going to have to drive almost an hour away from my home to pick it up. I get there, and they have a truck for me, but only have half the requested furniture blankets and neither of the types of dolleys I requested. They gave me a different dolley instead, but it was an appliance dolley and we weren't moving any appliances and it barely worked for what we needed it for. I didn't have to pay for what I didn't get, but when planning a move of this size and magnitude you would think that if you order something it will be there for you when paying several thousand dollars. Also, I requested to pick up from a uhaul store 10 minutes from my house. I have a hard time believing that the closest pickup available was almost an hour away from an area the size of williamsburg and james city county. When you're dealing with your last few days in town and everything is planned out in minute detail as to what needs to get accomplished and when, this kind of disruption with almost an extra 2 hours of driving was disasterous to the plans we had made already.

DANIEL JJackson was very kind and helped very much. Uhaul was trying to charge me for an extra day and he worked hard to get it right. Unfortunately Uhaul still charged me extra. Was not the fault of Mr Jackson.

Wayne SWas not greeted by employee just pointed to where I needed to put the truck and place the keys. No questions regarding check in etc. completed online checkout which was easier but will say U-Haul rep was with another customer.
Jeffrey HWe all had trouble with the UHaul app. Folks there were very nice and helpful but took getting someone from main office on phone to help talk all of us thru it.

Jeffrey CI completed my registration online, when I got to the facility, they said my information wasn't there and they needed to recreate the reservation, including payment information. An hour later, they said I had to switch trucks. When I returned the truck, they tried debiting my original card that they said they didn't have. They also indicated that they would give me a credit since it took over an hour to pick up the truck as I was paying movers hourly to wait for me to arrive. I raised these issues to the location and I never received a response or a credit.

Michele SSome type of tounqe jack would be really helpful for connecting and disconnecting trailer. Not a location problem but an overall Uhaul problem. I am a 60 year old man and leg lifting a 6x12 trailer by the tounge is not an easy task.

Laura ENothing other than I think the oil or transmission fluid needs to be checked out. The truck was running a little hard and considering it's a 2014 truck I was using maybe he needs a newer 26ft truck. But other than that it was great.

David LBetter signage. It took me awhile to find it. This location is rough by any standard. You probably know what I mean. Customer internet would help, the location is remote and I couldn't take advantage of your digital offerings.
Edward DI had a problem with a dry-rotted sidewall on a trailer tire, however, the merchant provided an appropriate refund as a demonstration of customer service. I was please with their approach and resolution of the situation.
