Very nice rental clerk. It was easy to rent and price was reasonable.

HAROLD JThe U-Haul system was an issue which took over 15-18 minutes to rent a hand truck/dolly for $7. Then upon return took another 10 minutes (these are times at the register not waiting in line). This was a soup sandwich for the system.
Warren PThe first truck had a flat tire and the door didn't open. The people in the store resolved it quickly and replaced with a good truck. The people on the phone offered roadside assistance which probably came after I got the new truck. The employees at JR's Ace hardware made it a good experience..

JOHN MThe customer service side of things was great! On the equipment itself, the ratchets to the straps on the trailer I rented were rusted and tough to operate. Fortunately I was wearing work gloves but could have jammed my finger otherwise. Not sure if it's simple, like WD40, or if they need replacing. But that could have been better. Overall a great experience and would return to do business here again. Merci.

Monique DHad to tell them the turn and brake signal were out. Had to drive back and get them fixed, also smelled like horse stall and was dirty I had to wash it myself. The corporate U-Haul were much nicer. And returning to same place was very inconvenient. Can't understand why U-Haul corporate do not oversee these type Of satellite locations. Sad and no refund for anything I put into it.

KEITH AThe truck was not clean on the inside of the cabin and was not swept out in the back. I have proof of how it when picked up. I cleaned what I made dirty and swept the back. Also, the truck was in the best shape mechanically or physically.
Candis GAt pickup app kept saying location was not connected, but everywhere I checked it was. Website did the same. After 45 mins it finally worked. This was stressful. Location and vehicle were good.

Jared LEvery thing about U-Haul was great although the truck I used over the weekend could have used some front end work done to it before put in use it had a bad vibration on the highway but performed well to get the job done
LARRY TI have found myself in need of a U-Haul several times over the past year as we have moved my elderly mother from one residence to another (more than once!). I always rent my U-Haul from J&R's Hardware in Porter, TX. In addition to being an attractive and well-run store, the employees all seem so helpful. I worked with "Sherry" on my last rental. In addition to being pleasant to work with, she was knowledgeable on U-Haul services and presented me with options that I might not have known to consider. I definitely plan to use this U-Haul location for any future moving needs!

LELAND DMy experience at J&R's couldn't have been better. The truck was in excellent condition and ran great, however as we were leaving town my wife, who was following me, was involved in an accident when some guy ran a stop sign and hit her broadside on the driver's side. Fortunately she was not seriously injured but obviously this delayed our trip. However when I called J&R's to explain our situation and ask for an extension to return the truck, I was fortunate to speak with Sherry, she went well beyond my expectations and took care of everything for us, she not only got us extension but added miles due to us having to backtrack getting my wife medical attention and dealing with the incident report. So my hat is off to Sherry at J&R's, she's a wonderful employee there who was genuinely concerned about the well being of my wife and everything she did for us was very much appreciated more than I can express. Thanks again to Sherry, you need more people working in customer relations like her!

Jose LWow! the self return process is one of the absolute worst online experiences i've ever been forced to complete. Pouring rain and you make me take an absurd number of pictures. Not to mention having to climb through the weeds to take 2 pictures of the rear of the vehicle. Do better
Kris GThe truck I rented was terrible. The seat was held together by duct tape. The gear shifter was nearly falling off. It made terrible clunking sounds as it drove. I think it's time to retire it.

Charles ASuggested drop off online, I selected at time of rental was better choice than the one selected by the pick-up agent recommended as a final drop location. Agent selected location was 25 minutes away from my pin location. My originally selected location was 2 minutes from my pin.

kENNETH SAfter calling multiple U-Haul places and the first one telling me to come on that they had a truck for me and 10 minutes later when I arrived I was told oh I'm sorry I forgot and he gave it to someone else which at that time I had already obligated myself to do a job for someone with the U-haul because I verified that I could get it so I told the client that everything was good so I was now in a panic. They told me to go down the road to the next place that closed in an hour but for some reason they were already closed at 5:00 instead of 6:00 so I called the number on the door and spoke to the owner and he told me that he couldn't come back so I could try the one down in Porter at Ace Hardware or go down 59 and try that one. All the while already running late for my job that I had obligated myself to do. Well when I got the Ace Hardware location I was greeted by a beautiful redheaded young lady who was about as nice and courteous and helpful as anybody can be and she got me a truck about as quick as lightning and I was out of there and I was actually able to make it to the job only 5 minutes late so thank you guys and I will definitely be coming back to use you in the future when I need a U-Haul or any hardware. Thanks again for saving my butt yesterday!
bradon dThey are liars. I fueled the truck back to the initial line and was charged 2 gals ($9,5). I also returned the truck clean and was charged a $25 cleaning fee
Delali DThe driver seat tear was patched with black duct tape which ended up rolling up and sticking to my pants... damaging my jeans with sticky tape glue.

YASMINA DFirst truck had a broken weather strip on driver side door. Had to wait hours to get replacement. Then when I finally got a replacement truck / the replacement truck had no AC ! Delayed my entire move and made the experience terrible. Also, the dolly I rented was an Appliance dolly but what was given was a utility dolly.
