I made the reservation via telephone. When I got to the location the next morning, I found that the ratcheting mechanism on the Auto Transport trailer was broken. I had to drive around in the lot and find another auto transport. The lady working the office did not help me hook up; I had to do ALL OF IT myself. I asked her where the help was. She said they were out on a roofing job ... that the U-Haul business there is just a small dealer and they don't supply help for hooking up trailers and such. I told her that was really poor service. Once inside to do the paperwork, she found out that the roofing company personnel had changed her password to the U-Haul computer system. She had to text the area U-Haul Manager no less than six times to get help to complete my order. It is very, very obvious that the roofing company personnel had never spent an ounce of time training this lady on ANYTHING. In my estimation, nothing against the lady, but I believe U-Haul Corporation should "pull" the U-Haul dealership away from this roofing company who just happens to dabble in renting U-Haul equipment. The roofing company that operates this location is giving a U-Haul a horrible name. I feel that I should be refunded AT LEAST ONE-HALF of what I paid U-Haul because I had to do all of the work and I had to wait over an hour to get the paperwork accomplished because the roofing company had not invested 15 minutes in training the woman who was operating the business. Shame on U-Haul for continuing to allow this shabby work to take place.

Not worried about next customer. My problem should be enough. Was told truck would be at location I need. The get email next day it us at location 11 miles back out of my way. That put me 31 plus miles away from the 9 miles I needed to go from my old address to my new address. The location I requested was just a mile from my old address. So I would only drove a total of maybe 20 miles from my old address. I'm out 80 plus dollars to what would have only cost me maybe 40 dollars.

Location was closed when I got there at 3:30 pm on a Friday. The online registration is a convenient option if needed but I did not like having to use it. There isn't a picture upload option, only to take the picture and my phone will not allow access so I had to use someone else's phone. For the price I pay to use the rental and the fees I'd rather not have to do the work myself. It adds stress to a stressful situation.

It is bull crap because I was charged additional 60 dollars because they didn't get to it until the next day. I turned it on the 21st.

I ordered a dozen furniture pads and was charged $10 for them but there were none in the u-haul when I picked it up

Honesty is very important. She sold us insurance when we told her that we already have complete coverage. My husband had to travel to another county to pick up euipment.He wasn't given a reasonable explanation why the truck had no gas. The female attendant stated that she was off duty to medical but failed to properly accommodate the customer who was inconvenient in hot humidity.

The back of the truck was dirty. We rented an appliance dolly that was not in the truck. We had to drive to another location the next day to get one. There was a problem getting the truck returned.

Terrible location placement. Staff was not helpful because like stated previously, we already had issues with the trailer attached to the truck so we could not reverse properly to begin with. Therefore, we could not reverse it into the spot they wanted us to. We didn't feel comfortable moving it due to the tight fit and poor location and the fact that the trailer did not cooperate in the first place, the worker stated "it's still in his hands" referring to my husband, when the worker clearly had the keys in her hand after I dropped them off to her. After her not being helpful, I took the keys and attempted to reverse into a spot like she said, of which I could not do. We just gave the keys back and left due to being so done with the entire experience through U-haul. It's been nothing but a nightmare from start to finish, we did not even receive our deposit back, which honestly we should have received back more than that due to the entire ordeal.

"If I could shout this from my rooftop" Please let everyone at this location know this- The lady in the office that helped me/us is the absolute BEST EVER-think GOAT person ever! I ran in that office, panicked and pissed!! You see, I had just been informed I needed to "handle this" so my husband's EX-wife could get moved! I was a hot mess! Any way, she had the best sense of humor and was so nice, I walked out of there, all good, and I ended up forgetting I was pissed at my husband! She probably saved me form a lifetime prison sentence for killing him!! Thank her for making my life hella easier.
