KC store emp a bit slow, took me 10-15mins to have the truck 🚚 which takes away mins from the 4 hours time frame but in my case I was fine, still 45mins left but others might be a scrabble.Dariusz C.

Uhaul is the shiestiest company around. I had a new quote on my computer that I made yesterday on my computer and when I went to save it, the website made me sign in and did not save the quote. I re-entered my dates and rental choices and the prices went up over 100 %. How do you run a company that doubles its rates on thousands of dollars over night. The price went from $2200 to over $5600 with one click of the computer. I called to talk to a service agent and he said he couldn't help me and that it's because of supply and demand. This is ridiculous that a company can double their rates over night and expect people to pay them for a rental. We have used Uhaul twice before and had no problems worth mentioning and this is just absolutely insane. We will never be using Uhaul again or recommending anyone to use this company. Such a complete omen grab!!! Please pass this to corporate office!!Brandon B.
-No wind screen washer fluid. -Truck was not clean -Staff just stood at the counter did not look at the truck during checkout or check in, felt bit odd but my mind was more into getting the house move done. ( On 11:00am Saturday out , 10:45am Sunday in) -Staff did not note down the mileage or fuel guage indicator location showing up on the truck until I insisted that they do and took a picture , corrected the mileage for checkout and was told that he will fix the fuel gauge document afterwards. - Returned the truck at 10:45am next day (On Sunday)after refueling the truck - Staff did not even look at the truck, again had to ask them to note down the mileage and fuel guage position.( took pictures) - Staff put me online over phone with a manager/supervisor lady and she confirmed that she has all info and will check in the truck once she is in office. - Got email today morning and was charged for "2" days rental as she checked it in at 2:00pm and sent the charge to my credit card. - On top, charged for "140 kms" instead of 40 kms - Called them to resolve the mis-information and no answer to phone calls, just kept ringing , no v/m either. - Called uHaul number - (1-800-468-4285) , waited for 20 minutes - Took that agent 35 minutes to understand the issue, spent 50 minutes on this call today and was told that somone will reach back to me in next 2-3 days. - Staff and the dealer/manager is either not trained or does not care at all. - Would give negative 5 instead of 0 for review if there was option for it. - Will never rent from this location... would not recommend to anyone.Ameekul S.

Clean, easy to drive to and friendly service. The problem I had was there was only 1/4 tank of gas and I had to drive a bit and was constantly watching the gauge. Would be better to have more than enough gas to do what you need to do then refill.Rob E.

I selected contactless pickup so I could get my truck and go. Doesn't work. I have to go in. She requests more info from me even though I've completed all paperwork... I need an emergency contact to drive a uhaul? 911. That's the number. My rental was transferred to this location for pickup. The manager for the UHaul system was absent at my time for pickup, and dictated all the instructions through the convenience store employee (who was not a UHaul employee). I rented a dolly with my reservation, and received a non-issue UHaul dolly that was rusted, sharp, and hazardous to use. Overall, incredibly poor service at this location. Truck, however, functioned accordingly.Elyse H.

Fuel was not at level indicated on the paperwork, of course i had to pay for it even though I returned it with the half tank that i had it dispatched to me with, after showing photos with time stamps and kms from time of pick up to time of drop off i still felt over charged, on top of that, the truck itself was filthy and i had to sweep it out before i could start moving, worst experience with u haul to dateBRANDONEDUARDO G.

I have never felt the need to write a review before but if I could rate this negative 5 stars I would. Drop off location changed even though it was guaranteed. Truck moved to a downhill slope so the tank showed full. Did not have the extra equipment I rented Upon Drop off the person refused the truck and screamed at us and kicked us out of his establishment. The only saving grace was the customer service rep I spoke to was nice.KORNEL T.

Alignment was off a lot on truck; made it very difficult to drive especially in high winds. Windshield washer fluid took a very long time to thaw. Found truck to be not fuel efficient at all. Pickup/ drop off location was fine but there are no designated parking areas for the truck; I could see this being an issue when the plaza is busy and someone might not be comfortable parking a big truck.BRIAND C.
I was told I didn't need to stay when I dropped off the truck and they would refund the difference from the deposit to my card as I knew my total would be much less than $100. They did not refund it. I called and the lady said she had to speak with someone else and asked me to call back. She didn't even bother to take my number and have them call me. So, they took my money and expected me to call to get it back. I don't believe the refund has even been processed. This transaction is an embarrassment to a large and reputable company like Uhaul.WAYNEC B.
It looks there is another charge for the refule after I returned this truck. I refueled the gas more than it was when I jumped in, but the last receipt shows the fuel guage is below what it is. I think it should be 3/8, but the receipt shows the fuel is 2/8. I have some photos taken when I dropped this truck. I cannot figure out why there is another charge for my returning.Giseon S.
This location needs to be either shut down or they should be made aware of what the company policy is. I got my truck yesterday and it was full of snow. The lady at the counter told me that I would have to clean the snow.myself. this was the worst experience I ever had with a U haul. The wind screen washer fluid was not filled. It was not working, and the need for it when its snowing is an essential part of the vehicle. In these conditions how do you expect someone to bring your equipment back safely. Thanks god that I was able to make it safe to the drop off location.Asif M.

My problem did not just start at this location. It started when I went to pick up the truck that I reserved on the phone (previous night) to be picked up at the 555 Fairway Rd S, Kitchener, ON N2C 1X4 as a one-way trip including 200km and dropped off in Kitchener. I was surprised that the manager, Brande, told me that I had an in-town trip. But I insisted that I reserved it as one-way trip. I asked her then to modify it to one-way trip, but she told me that one-way trip can't be done with pick up and drop off locations in the same city. I advised her that I did this kind of trips 2 times before at her location, but she insisted that this is impossible and it has to be from one city to another. This conversation took us a while arguing as she did not want to understand that I did it 2 times at her location. I asked her to try the system and see. Then she told me that she reserved me a one-way trip; she did not admit her mistake or lack of knowledge or apologize. But the problem was that she did not reserve the truck to be picked up at her location 555 Fairway Rd S, Kitchener but at a different location where I had to drive and waste more time (claiming that she did not have trucks for one-way trips). I accepted this reservation as I did not have any other options, ending up with 1,5 hour late for my appointment and feeling terrible. I was really shocked when the manager also profiled me for a previous conversation that I had with her and one of her employees when I was asking about the one month free rental storage unit that I was qualified for. I did not mention this specific point at all, but she pulled it out from the last visit and declined any possibility of help even though I did not ask her about this as I was in a hurry. When I finally got the new reservation and drove to the new location to pick up the truck, I was given the keys, I walked to check in the truck, but I did not receive a text or email to do the check in. I also discovered that my reservation did not include the insurance coverage even though I asked Brande to include it in the reservation. I called the complains department to solve this issue (which indicated that the truck was not dispatched) and went back to the office to figure out the problem. I unfortunately wasted a lot of time trying to pick up the truck. I reported this whole experience to the complains department later and advised me that someone would call me but nobody called me. I called them and they advised me that the file was closed because there was nothing wrong. The manager did her job right and the reservation was one way trip. I declined their decision and asked for escalation when the agent even insisted that she could not transfer me to any body else because there is no thing to do. I insisted as well and she finally transferred me to her supervisor who was really kind and understanding. The supervisor escalated my complain to the marketing president office. Later someone from the office called me and mentioned that every thing was fine and people did their job. I asked him about my initial one-way trip reservation and if he listened to the call; he mentioned that, yes, I reserved a one-way trip. I asked him so why I was not served on that base. He mentioned that he just does not know and that there is nothing that can be done. I came up to conclusion that U-Haul does not care or respect its customers even when they are at fault. I decided not to use U-Haul at my best convenience and go back to the previous companies that I used to deal with. My recommendation is that you should look for the companies that respect their customers. (by the way, renting U-Haul trucks is not cheap; it is only available most of the time) I would not recommend not only this or that specific location, but U-Haul in general.Mohammed A.
