First reservation was unusable through the app, was unable to get ahold of any representatives. Had to cancel the first one that gave me the truck for three days and re reserve on the spot and only got 24 hours. Especially frustrating after requesting to pick up the truck 25 miles away from this location and being told it wasn't available at my desired location. Despite being able to see it available online. Truck exterior was filthy, windshield was worthless until being cleaned. Undocumented damage to the vehicle I had to upload pictures of.John H.

Fix the return system online. When returning and doing it yourself the return process would not work for part of it and kept messing up. What should have been a quick drop off turned into a 20 min endeavor. Very frustratingAudrey R.
Your hidden charges are exceedingly ridiculous. Advertised at $29 for the rental. Paid $146. You charged $25 for â€œcleaningâ€ when all I did was lay out the blankets because they were wet due to rain.ERIK M.

Have an actual dealership. Not something run off a beaten down parking lot. There is no office, no on site employees, you go to the gas station get a business card call the owners to conduct a transaction. There is no way to have a paper transaction. The whole deal seems very Shady in this day and age. I felt VERY uncomfortable waiting by myself for a rental.Dawn M.

We tried to use the mobile services.. we get to the location and the lock on the truck wouldn't work with any of the 3 codes the lady was giving us. We drove 30 miles only to have to leave without the truck and find an actual location to pick up a truck from a person. This location has us sign paperwork before getting to the truck saying the truck has 3/4 of a tank of gas and to return it with the same. We start the truck and it's on E. We call to inform the man at the store and he says he will note it in the account. Two weeks later I'm getting messages that I have charges for $42 for gas, we returned the truck with more gas than it had when we picked it up. Worst experience ever, added 3 hours and a bunch of unnecessary hassle onto our moving day. And still getting bothered 2 weeks later because of their sloppy servicesKRISTIANA M.

26' truck wiper blade on driver's side split after 600 miles. Got caught in Atlanta during rush hour, construction and heavy rain with only half a windshield view. Had to pull over at next exit and swap driver and passenger blades during a rainstorm. Also 12V convience outlet did' work so couldn't charge phones and use GPS at same time.STAN B.

Overly aggressive up-selling on insurance charges. Owner threatened that anything including a scratch on the new truck would incur a cash charge if insurance was not purchased. Owner stated he refused to work with any outside insurance companies for payment for any damage incurred. Also that he must have cash payments out of pocket immediately for any damage regardless of fault because he would not work with insurance agencies for payment. Kept hammering and insisting that it was a brand new $45,00.00 truck and I needed insurance or I would be paying everything out of pocket in cash; any scratches, dents, or wear. I took dozens of pictures inside and out of the truck before and after to avoid any scams as I felt the owner was trying to offset costs of his new $45 000 purchase with frivolous charges for normal wear and tear on a moving truck. Extra headache from scare tactics that I didn't need while moving.ANDREW D.
Got there at my pick up time. Because the place is a 24/7 truck share we used that option. When trying to get the truck we get a call saying that they have to call 2 people to verify their name.. we should have been told this before hand also when they called 2 times to change my pick up location with out asking. Worse u-haul experience. Will not use u-haul againCecilia S.
Kevin's Automotive were lovely people to work with. I had selected a different pick up location closer to my home, but Uhaul reservations said it needed to change my pick up location. I would recommend Kevin's, but Uhaul.com does not get my vote for this experience.Kimberly B.
I always rent from the Uhaul on 165th in Hammond, In. unfortunately they did not have any trucks available at the time I needed and was sent to the location at Kevin's automotive 2 on Hohman Ave. I was so disappointed with the poor service. I was given the address of Calumet Ave to get the truck and was headed that way then get a call from Kevin and he stated I was given the wrong address to head to Hohman Ave, then he stated ok now lets go back to Calumet Ave to pick it up. When I arrive the place was filthy they tired to force the insurance for the truck on to me after I stated no thank you then he stated ok lets go back to Calumet Ave to pick up the truck I wasted so much of my gas going back and forth, next he stated you have to bring it back at 3p because I need to go out at 3p. I felt rushed into having to move and was still late 15 MIN bringing it back. Its a shame how Uhaul can deliver exception service at 1 location but we can go somewhere else and be discouraged to want to ever rent again. I hope that something is done about this.BRENDA R.

I was charged extra on my debit card. An additional fee for something that wasn't expected or even explained. This is the worst Uhaul drop off facility that I have ever visited. Customer service is very important in the moving industry.tracey P.

I feel like I was given a truck and trailer at its worst condition so that these people wouldn't have to take it back since they knew we were going across country. Then, I was sent to 3 different places to drop off the trailer and every time got turned away. Gas for this truck is extremely expensive, and with how much I spent to rent it, it should have broken down or struggled as much as it did to get us to texas.Chey M.

I had a second reservation for another truck. When i looked at email and clicked on the registerration , it said it was cancelled? After 3 calls and no action then being moved to a third location, it was not ready for a 10 am guarentee. It wasnt going to be ready till 1 pm. VERY DISSATISFIED!Jack M.
