First - the pickup location was changed with no notification from 5 miles from my house to 18 miles away.I found the change myself and called uhaul. The rep on the phone added 25 miles to my account - insignificant moving from ID to CA, especially since I wound up taking a half day off work for the back and forth to accommodate this unannounced change, Then, the clerk at pick up said I was dropped in his lap. Very shady location now. New owners/managers? Case in point: I have a long conversation with the clerk about how I DON'T need or want to insure my 350 $deductible for 10 $. When I get my invoice? Surprise! "10 $for a tiny amount of insurance coverage" was indeed added without my consent. Love Uhaul and will continue to patronize . . . just not at this location.Dale S.
My location and pickup time were changed and the only notification I received of this change was a different address in a text about checking in online. Because of this, I almost didn't get the trailer, I lost a day of packing, and I had to take time off of work to pickup the trailer. U-Haul should have moved the trailer to the location I selected. At the very least, you should have sent a clear text\email\phone call that my appointment time and location have changed. I was very displeased with the entire situation.Bryan S.
The scheduling, location, and truck were all good. The process online/app to actually pickup and return the truck was horrible. We spent more time with those two steps then we did using the truck.Christopher M.

My trailer was rented to me with broken wires that resulted in no lights for night time driving and led to me being stopped by a sheriff deputy to warn me that I had NO tail lights. The brake and turn were working and he let me proceed because it was 6:37 am and I no longer required running/tail lights, but I was restricted to day light driving only. Second , the office manager called regarding a local use dolly they rented me, â€œDemandingâ€ I return it immediately or be charged additional daily fees which she attacked me over, accusing me of being dishonest and that I would have to deal with the owner, only to later call me admitting I was right, they had offered me use of their dolly until I returned, as confirmed by one of the women that rented it to me. The manager's behavior was rude, aggressive and as she admitted, â€œwrong â€œ. She has no business running anything, or dealing with people. Afternoon being so wrong, she never apologized.Morris M.
I made my reservation a few weeks in advance. On move day there were no trucks at my location, and I was told I'd have to live with it. The agents were unapologetic and one even lectured me about "this just being the way it is". Moving day was the most stressful day I can remember in years and Uhaul representatives showed zero empathy. I won't rent a truck from you again and I will tell anybody I can about this experience.Todd W.
We had to drop off our truck after hours when the online system was down. We called the next day to make sure it was in and good but the associate was not very helpful. They did get our receipt out quickly which was very nice.Stephen H.

I was supposed to pick up this truck in Garden City. I made the reservation weeks in advance. I had no car to travel to the location in Nampa which is why I picked the one in Garden City since it was in walking distance of where I was staying. When I informed the person on the phone of this, she just told me she was aware that I made the reservation in advance. There was no attempt made to accommodate me nor any apology for the inconvenience of getting a ride out to Nampa. I was also told my contract was amended to account for the extra mileage since I had to bring the truck back in to Boise to pick up the items I was moving. I did get charged for extra miles when I dropped it off. The charge was minimal and I had no faith that anything would be done to make things right. I'll never use this company again.Tim D.

Was charged 25,18 $ for gas! Truck was returned with same amount of gas as received. Also returned 1dozen blankets that were not opened and clean. My reservation was so screwed up. I resented a 26' box truck and got a smaller van and trailer. I am not happy with uhaul. I don't know if I will ever use you again. Nothing was easy about renting from you. Because of the different size truck you gave me I had to make another trip that has cost me money and time.Michael S.

I have been using Uhaul for more than 20 years and after my single experience with your Kings Gate Storage affiliate I will never use Uhaul again.... and nor will my immediate family. They are dishonest, rude and just plain thieves. There are plenty of other companies I can use.Keith R.
