The rent by phone verification system was confusing and difficult to use. There was no prior information about verifying your identity with a passport picture or alternate contact. I was not pleased - spent a long time struggling outside the van trying to start the rental

I had trouble with the verification process on my phone and the chat support didn't provide enough context for me to resolve it. I spent an hour of my rental time trying to reach someone on the phone who could actually offer a solution that ended up being very simple.

Change the price for the insurance back to ten dollars. I didn't expect the insurance to be $25 dollars. That's bullshit. And the guy at the location doesn't even profit from the price raise. Some people depend on uhaul to run a small moving business. Unless you really need to raise it don't be fucking greedy. I used to always tell people how great uhaul is. Stop bumping up the charges.

I was told I was given a one way truck. When I got to my destination, I was told I could not drop off the uhaul truck at that location because I was told I had to bring it back to the original location. When I called the original location, I was told I should be able to drop it off at my desired location. Apparently it was not changed in the computer. I have now been going back and forth with customer service because I am going to be charged double for leaving it at the destination store. This whole process has been frustrating and I will NEVER be a uhaul customer again.

This was by far the worst experience I have had renting a vehicle; I will neither use Uhaul in the future nor recommend this service to a friend. After using my rental for a span of several hours, I was charged for two full days of rental service. I called customer service (after trying to call the Kingsland location several times and receiving no response) and was informed I would be refunded in the amount of ~$30. Today, I checked my bank account and, while that amount has in fact been refunded, I now see that I have been charged an additional $50 from the Kingsland site with no explanation or contact from either the site itself or Uhaul's customer service. I have called customer service several times and not gotten through, and the Kingsland site does not answer calls. As far as the site itself, the employee working when I returned the van was extremely rude to me. When I explained that I had used 1/8 of a tank of gas, and wanted to know whether he was aware of the fuel capacity of the vehicle I had used (so I could refill the exact amount I had used), he was extremely demeaning and implied that I did not understand how to calculate something so simple as a basic fraction (as a blonde woman of moderate intelligence, I did not find being made to feel stupid and inept a new experience; however, I did pay for and operate a moving van independently, and it would be nice to be treated with the respect I suspect would be afforded to a male customer of the same intellectual capacity). The attendant in question also told me to leave the car on while I filled up the gas so I could watch the gauge rise - which, little as I know about auto mechanics, I feel confident that one should generally avoid having a car running while filling it with a flammable substance. Moving is stressful enough without being continuously and erroneously charged, in addition to being treated like an idiot. I would say that Uhaul made my moving experience even more difficult that it already was. I am very disappointed in the service, and worry I am going to have to cancel my credit card to avoid having recurrent and inexplicable charges showing up.

this was the second rental in a row where i'd had to rent from a different location, and Kingsland ended up saving me. i'll hit the first, separately. in this case, your shop at 996 (i think) Metropolitan, which allowed me a 'counter-pick up' option during my reservation process, CLOSED 4 HOURS EARLY, with about 20 vehicles locked inside. this made me late for my event, for the second time in a row, you still charged me full price, as usual, and (after a half hour in the 90-degree sun, mostly on hold), ended up sending me to the place i would have preferred to go, anyway -- had your reservation system not still said, as of that morning, that they had no vans. this burns me, as a very regular customer, to no end. so, in short. for the 3rd time out of 4 rentals, your entire system failed us both, no compensation was offered, but this review shows as 5 stars, because Kingsland saved my ass. again. i hope your company as a whole pulls it together, as i'm fresh out of 3rd and 4th chances, at this point.

The truck have to be ready at the pick up time. We our case was one hour late.

This location added a cleaning fee to a truck that was used lightly for about 2 hours. This cleaning fee represents 20% of the expense is a complete and utter lie. I would never use this location and would warn any friends against it. Rude staff as well.

First time using this but the move went off without a problem. The Uhaul was ready right when I came to pick it up and it was very easy to drive even in the city area.I got my receipt shortly after dropping it back off and there were no unpleasant surprises

Great costumer service! Have never had a quick and friendly experience at a haul location. The van does need cleaning and maintenance.
