Signage would be helpful. There was nothing at the location to identify it as a U-Haul dealer.

Kevin LThis review has nothing to do with the actual location/person who oversees the kitty kottage. She was lovely and helpful. Uhaul was the most unacceptable experience. First of all the uhaul was late. My reservation wasn't transfered to this location, after driving 20 miles from the city to collect the truck. I was told that I couldn't and that my reservation wasn't there. I waited on hold for 2,5 hours and was late for my movers/cleaners. I was told to travel to Washington state to pick up the uhaul. I was not compensated for the events or given extra miles. Luckily the owner of kitty Korner solved uhaul problem and I was able to take the uhaul.
Katharine AThis location is inconvenient, isolated, unmarked (no signage whatsoever), and has zero lighting. The location (random yard in countryside) was pitch dark by 4pm and it was very frustrating trying to find the key drop box. I did not choose this location and would have preferred leaving the truck at my destination which was the UHaul storage and moving location in Delta. Thank goodness we had a personal vehicle following the truck or else we would have been stranded there without means of returning to Delta (too far from public transit or taxi).
Quinn PFind a better location, this one took a hour to find out of sight behind a house with a lot of trees. Not until I was making a U turn, did I see a U-haul truck. There was no one there, the trailer was locked, the steps and the deck were not cleared of snow. I am 83 thank you. Then you charge me $43 for fuel when I had 3/8 of a tank before and after. It took more than a 1/8 of a tank to get to the drop off while there were several locations in my Neighbour hood.

Shan ZThe location was difficult to find, the system for getting the truck was very cumbersome, it took 2 hours to get the truck off the lot, if it wasn't for the help of a very patient imployee the truck and the rental wouldn't have happened, 2 hours with someone who was computer savvy is a ridiculous process.
Harvey HIt’s in an obscure spot the orange box was so hidden it took us almost half an hour to find it for the key drop rang the bell for service repeatedly
Cheryl MFirst I reserved a truck only to be told 24 hours later that it was cancelled. Second, when I finally got a truck, I reserved a dolly and furniture hand truck. On rental day, their was no dolly or furniture hand truck. When I called Uhaul, I was told "too bad" and if I wanted that equipment, I would have to call around and get it myself. Could there be worse service?? Would never recommend using Uhaul to anyone.

Cynthia SMy overall customer experience in renting a Uhaul was poor. I booked a 20 ft truck for Sunday, May 22nd weeks in advance. I was told to pick-up at the Lo-Cost location in Tsawwassen, BC at 4:30pm on Saturday, May 21st as they would be closed on Sunday. Upon arriving at 4:30pm the location was closed for the entire long weekend thus I had no truck. I lost an hour of my day. After calling Uhaul they apologized for the mistake and told me I would receive a $50 credit but now had to book on-line and pick-up the next day through a different location and manage though the mobile pick-up process. I prepared in advance at night by setting up on on-line account and taking photos of my drivers licence and face. The on-line platform said to arrive 10 minutes before to complete the process. We did this but the process took over 30 minutes to complete thus were late picking up our hired help for the move. On my final invoice the $50 credit was not processed. Wade BThere was no one at the drop off location when I made the drop off & I couldn't reach her by phone. I called Lois Jack at the Nanaimo location & she helped me through the drop off. Lois also called the drop off location & sorted out another concern I had. Lois said that when she reached the person at the drop off, they were helpful & friendly, so although I didn't deal with them directly I trust Lois' assessment.
Cynthia SIt was out in the middle of nowhere, and google took us to a locked gate over a bridge. Some people would have never found this farm.

David PWe had some major issues with the 'pick up my truck' online as the location would not pick up on my phone. All my location apps were on and allowed Uhaul authorization to 'find me' it took almost 35 min of walking around to pick up a location…other than that the place itself is just fine.
Bryce BNone. The staff at the Kitty Kottage was very good and friendly. She knew what she was doing booking us in to use the truck. Suggested we video the outside of the truck for our peace of mind. He,led us choose a ,ovation for drop off.
