Staff poorly trained. They penalize the customer for the employee's mistakes! And they refuse to take responsibility even when the employee admits it!

I originally reserved at the main Olympia location due to the earlier pickup time I needed for my trip/task. I received confirmation for that particular rental and received a change one day prior to the rental for this current location and at two hours later for pickup. This threw my task plans out to e window. I asked why the change and was told another family already reserved a month ago. If this is the case, then why did the reservation system allow me to reserve at the Olympia location in the first place? As for the pickup and return instructions, I was not told there were electronic instructions to inspect the rental nor check it back electronically when returning. I found out both after having questions and rechecking my emails and the website for anything I may have missed. I still don't have confirmation that the rental was returned in good order, but I do have my paid receipt. Just asking for clear procedures and confirmation.

I was sent on my trip with a bald tire. I rode on a bald tire for miles before seeing the bald tire I was given. This faulty tire could have blown and had a life-ending result for me. I checked the tires and the tire condition of the 10X12 trailer before I left the Uhaul rental place in Lacey WA and the condition was deplorable for the money I was charged 1 300 $! I didn't see the bald tire until I stopped for gas well into my trip and when traveling at the speed I was going a blown tire may have ended my life going off the side of the road or into another vehicle. I am angry and mad that the horrible condition and lack of concern for the condition of the rental equipment when sent out with customers are so horribly deplorable. My life for 1 300 $? so greedy and unnecessary. I will never rent from Uhaul again there are other options. Beware customers of Uhaul charging whatever they damn well please and the equipment isn't even maintained to a safe level.

I was 2 hours late getting my truck back and the attendent was so nice about it. I thought that I would have to pay for another day, but he just smiled and finished inspecting the truck and told me to have a good day.

Easy drop off. I did it after hours for the first time which was so easy and convenient. Concerns me though What-If the trailer I dropped off was stollen that night? I took lots of pictures just in case.

I did have quite a problem as the truck that I had rented to be picked up at 9:30 AM on Saturday the 23rd, was not there when I arrived. The two young men, one was named Dylan, were very apologetic and were making numerous phone calls in an effort to try to get the individual to bring the truck in. Unfortunately the person would not bring the truck back. However they did give me the next truck they came in unfortunately, it was five hours past the time that I had individuals waiting to help me move. Obviously the delay was extraordinarily inconvenient. But again the young men were accommodating and gave me a discount on the mileage and I did appreciate that. I do have a second stage to my move occurring on November 13. I am considering renting another U-Haul from this location, but as you can understand, I am a bit hesitant considering I will be paying individuals again to help me move and don't wish to occur cost for them to sit around.

There was a lot of mud where the 20' truck was parked, so we had to watch where we stepped to avoid tracking in mud. "Mom's Attic" appeared to have had something spilled and dried on it, so we had to clean it before placing our items in that spot. The good news is that the employee--and dog--were very friendly and helpful, and the truck looked almost new and generally well maintained.

We got the truck and there was rat poop in it. It was dirty inside, not swept out. The guy behind the counter was nice, polite and was able to help me get in and get out quickly.

The staff was very helpful. I was given a very thorough walk-through of the truck and the tow dolly. The service was excellent. The windshield inside the truck had cigarette smoke film making it very difficult to see during the evening hours. Also, I could not get any of the three 12v power outlets to work.

The fact that the uHaul representative uses her one cell phone to take costumers drivers license pictures is concerning. This practice goes against all security practices. People need to be aware that their personal information is like to be compromised. This practice needs to stop

Nothing but positive things to say about this facility! 24 hour guest access was very convenient for us- we keep odd hours! And although we didn't need to contact the office for anything other than initial rental and move out, each time we did he was pleasant and knowledgeable!

When I picked up the truck it was dirty and had a crack in the windshield. When I told the person at the rental desk his response was :no worries, you have insurance." I said "it should be charged to whoever was responsible. When we dropped the truck off there was no one at the facility to receive it. They had us leave it outside. I received a call on Monday morning from the El Mirage facility regarding the cracked windshield. I told him it was there when we rented the truck and he said "did you take a picture?" My response "yes, and I told the person in Lacey as well." Based on this experience I would not recommend or use Uhaul again.

Office staff were super friendly and helpful. The online mobile pick up process is a joke and will never attempt to use againâ€"wasted 20 minutes to get it to work. Location is an odd location and is very cramped and not the easiest to get to. Again staff were excellent.

The truck was not clean inside or out. In fact, the outside was filthy and I had to wipe down the interior. I have rented U-Haul trucks before for long moves. This truck was the noisiest truck I've ever ridden in. So noisy I may have permanent hearing damage. (no joke) We actually nicknamed the truck "RoughRider". The AC only worked on flat ground or going downhill. I will say it seemed to run mechanically fine. It got us from Lacey WA to San Diego CA with no breakdowns.

I have no problem with this location but I do have a big problem with UHAU. Your email sent me to the wrong store so the employee there sent me to another franchise. This caused me to be late to meet my assistant. They told me that my account would be credited 50 $but it was wasn't. 😡
