Went to pick up location we were told which was diamond d auto sales and I haul said there was no reservation so we went to laws and they had only a 20 foot truck available, we only reserved a 10 foot. Not only did we have to use the bigger truck, we had to spend a lot more on gas because of the bigger truck. We then went to our drop off location and it didn't have a sign anywhere saying drop box so had to call customer support once again to figure out where to drop it off. All in all not a good experience

showed me how to rig ,the car i was getting on the trailer ,explained how everything worked on the trailer. very good service all and all .even gave me directions to get back on the hwy.

Ron MannessWhen you go to customer service desk to pick up the truck and gotta do paperwork and pay don't put that time that was used to do all that towards the time you have scheduled to use the truck. I was docked 30 mins from my 4 hours bc it took that long to get the truck and do everything that was needed. Other than that my experience was great. Will use again in the future.
Tamara KwitnoskiI was in a rush picking up the trailer and I didn't try the rear door, the person giving me the trailer never opened it to show me it was clean or anything. So I guess this is somewhat my fault, but upon arriving at my residence to start packing up for my move I opened the door and it got stuck half way and the inside was not previously swept out. I went to a closer dealer and they had their tech look at it and found the rails for the door was damaged and the door jumped off it's track. They had me drive to a 3rd location to swap it out for another trailer, which was smaller than the one I rented. All in all a less than stellar experience and I was 4 hours late getting started packing up.

Eugene FortinThe lady at the U-Haul 800 number told me that it came with everything we needed. It did not. It also had a different pin system than my truck. Thankfully this location knew my nephew who picked up the trailer and lent him a hitch/hat we needed. I was also told by that same lady on the 800 number that I could pay if I did the rental with her. That too was incorrect. We also had to wait from the 12pm pick up time that was paid for/arranged for the trailer to be returned. This did not happen until almost 4 pm. I returned it the next day at 6pm and was still charged two full days?? (Also noticed the return was not entered until the next day at 9am).

U-Haul informed me at the last minute (15 minutes before I was supposed to pick up the 6x12 trailer that I reserved) that they didn't have my trailer and the best they could do was offer a 5x8 trailer or wait until the next day. Being that I took the day off to move I took the 5x8 trailer and had to make 2 trips. So the U-Haul experience wasn't the best, but the friendly folks at Law's helped me make the best of a bad situation.

We made a reservation for in Portage La Prairie MB but we kept getting told we'd need to pick up in Winnipeg, MB which is an hour from where we wanted the Uhaul. It caused us a lot of stress.
