Christian JTo put it nicely, the self-check out procedure is broken. First and formost, the text and emails regarding the self-checkout procedure direct you to log into your UHaul account and click the "Pick Up My Truck" link. The is NOTHING that says Pick Up My Truck. After stumbling around for at least 20 minutes I somehow got a page that displayed an icon that allowed me to start the check-in procedure. Then came the next phase of ridiculousness. As prompted, I had downloaded and installed the UHaul App on my Android phone. If i accidently or intentionally changed to position of the phone from vertical to horizontal, the app would crash and I would have to log in again. Fortunately it kept my progress so I could keep moving through the process. After well over 30 minutes and at least a half-dozen crashes and re-log ins I thought I had completed the process. I received a call that the picture of my license was not clear and I needed to redo it. After many attempts, I could not log back into the App and was directed back to my web browswer and to the UHaul website. After several more minutes of stumbling around the horribly designed website, I finanally found (again) where to restart the check-in process which allowed me to re-upload a picture of my license. The entire process took nearly an hour due to figuring out how to even start the process and then excerbated by the multiple app crashes and repeated log ins. Once this horribly broken process was completed, I had no issues with the truck and the check-in process when much smoother. That said, I will NEVER use the self-check out process again...it had to be one of the worst online experiences I have ever had.

Uhuru LI got ripped off for 71$ I had to pay a cleaning fee when the vehicle was clean I literally pull up the gate and threw everything away inside the cab before I gave the keys up Also I had the fuel on 1/8 of a tank what it was supposed to be at still got charged a fuel fee.

Beau GThe girl - can't recall her name- in the office was nice and helpful. We couldn't get the trailer on. The owner was running late and was able to get it on but wasn't very friendly. Then we got back after hours like they said and we could not get the trailer off the truck. I called the owner and he was not helpful. Had to call the police to come help me as we'd already loosened it and didn't feel safe driving off in it.

Ebony PI was supposed to pick up in Opelousas and I was switched to Lafayette the night before. When I arrived at 8 the next morning no one was there. I was then sent an email saying I had to pick up using a mobile app. It took me 3 hours to get it done. The truck was on empty. I was told later I went over the mileage but I was sent to the wrong pickup . I was supposed to get a 50 % discount. I did not get it.
Maurice BThe entire checkout process just to pick up the truck was an absurd hassle that didn't even work at first. After calling and being on hold for at least half an hour with one transfer I had to cancel my reservation for movers because the entire process was taking far too long. Then upon finally getting it sorted I find that the truck is missing one of the two dollies I reserved. After dropping the vehicle back off less than 12 hours later out of a 24 hour reservation I was hit with an absurd extra $30 charge. Will not be renting from uhaul again.

dennis PMake sure that the equipment is actually working before giving it to us... The number that was provided was incorrect so when I needed help with an issue that never got resolved was pretty much impossible without having to go back to this location.

JIM MThe lady who checked in my truck was great. Her supervisor, who I believed is the owner, was incredibly rude to my Dad and I. He yelled at us to "close his door" while we were having a seconds long conversation in the doorway. I won't be back for anything and I'll tell everyone I know to avoid it.

Edmond AThe Place was clean and so was the truck after having it a coiuple of days it was drinking oil but nothing that was the shops fault. I discovered after buying some that they had actually put a quart in the back just in case this place is my go to. The bad experince came in with the moving help which ripped my wife off for 400$ extra cash !!!! but not after showing up almost two hours late when we had a specific time to be moved out which cost us almost 4000$ for numerious violations and a monthly rental charge for being past move out time. not to mention one of them stayed on his phone the entire time or sat his nasty ass on my furniture i am extremely mad and will be calling an attourny.

Timothy BCorrect your phone system. Calls revert to a fax without any type of notification and it makes you think you have dialed a fax number instead of the direct number to the place. Possibly place an outgoing message if you are not available to answer the call.

PORSCHE JRental location was 1,5 hours away from my preferred pick up location. Had I not called uhaul to check on my reservation I would have never known. Truck misfired the whole drive and was the biggest piece of crap I've ever driven
Jobe AFirst I was giving a rental that I did not select on web. If what I wanted wasn't available at that location, another location shouldn't been suggested that had what I wanted. I didn't complain I just made due with what was giving to me but now I get my receipt and I'm being charged for gas I put in the truck before returning it. I know I put gas passed the 3/4 mark.

MICHAEL GHow's does $105 a day +14+12 and change total $265.00. Also why do I have to pay the difference between a 15' truck and 20' truck when the reason for the upgrade way not my choice?
SHARI CWe were not acknowledge when we walked in. They asked for a credit card and gave us no instructions on the operation of the tow dolly. Nor did they make us aware of the return policy or tell us that they were not open on Saturdays to return the equipment. Service stunk I was not pleased.

VIRGIE EThe smart phone registration...it said not to do it until you were at the vehicle. That ended up taking us 15 minutes to do, most of that time was after scanning my drivers license and awaiting approval. The setup should be in two parts. One the registration and the 2nd part once you arrive, get the keys, and inspect the vehicle.
Zeke DI feel it was dramatically overpriced. I received no paperwork at the time of rental and was told the contract would be emailed to me but was sent well after the fact. Also the fuel level was 3 quarters full (I returned the truck full) and i didnt get confirmation on the mileage. As of yet My 100 (96) dollar deposit was not returned to my card as promised. I returned the truck on full so i should be cridited whatever the difference is. Overall it was not a great experience.

Jeremy BThat lock used to secure box of truck needs to be lubricated regularly. We(uhaul tech and I )had to destroy it due to malfunction. Or use keyed locks designated to each truck. Was not a big problem.
