Make it cheaper for families to move
Mary MThey lied about not being able to rent the equipment I reserved, they didn't tell the truth about the cost and resulted in me spending almost triple what it should have cost, they didn't set up a drop off location on my paperwork but set it up in a different town than I even told them which resulted in a very difficult and time consuming drop off and also added to the overcost. Very unsatisfied!
Patrick DThis location is great, wish I had just gone there first and avoided your clunky, awkward WEBSITE. As long as UHaul and the web have been around, I expected much more from you. In my experience with websites there are some that are intuitive and "lead" you through the maze, then there are some that work but aren't that good, then there are those that should be avoided at all cost! UHaul's is the later.

Lisa D | Expérience généraleThis UHauls at this location are not well maintained. We went through 2 before finding one that worked. The attendant was very helpful finally found a Uhaul trailer that worked and got us on our way. They also have two locations. One location has no attendant and only signage that says call this number or go to the other location. I feel like the Armstrong location should not be listed as a pickup location since it's not attended but basically a Uhaul storage location. If I had to get another Uhaul trailer in the future I would go to another location that has attendant and Uhauls on the same property.

steven tI had requested a hand dolly with the truck. I was told it would on the truck. I REALLY needed one! Guess what. My son picked the truck up for me -- and no hand dolly! The customer rep told my son they were out of them. (My son told me later that a man in line behind him also requested a hand dolly and was told it would be in the truck and it wasn't!) This made me mad! And I don't get mad too often. I expected it to be on the truck, and bcuz it wasn't, I had to have someone go get me one. All they had to do when I requested the truck 4 days earlier was say, "sorry, we don't have that available right now." Then I had the time to go someplace else and get one. VERY IRRESPONSIBLE!! Will NEVER use this location again.

LISA MLove this Uhaul location. I rented a dolly and thought I'd get the same one as last time but I didn't. We went to load the car on it and it tore up my front spoiler on my vehicle so I didn't get to use it. I notified them right away, and we returned it, but didn't get a refund.

Steven ALe personnel était amical et serviable. Uhaul equipment is very built. However some lubricants here and there would do wonders. Fortunately I had some spray lubricant with me or I don't believe the tie-down ratchet would have worked. Doesn't appear to have been lubricated in years. That's no reflection on Levi Storage. I notice similar problems whenever I rent uhaul equipment anywhere.
JD SThe tow dolly was unfit for use when I took it. It had so much beech sand on it, the tie strap ratchets were both inoperable. I had to clean them with brake cleaner to get them to work.

Barbara WCan you say the clerks sent me out with the wrong truck. I got to my house and they called me and asked me to bring it back because they had given me the wrong one. When I agreed to do that, even though it was going to put me behind schedule, I got there in the truck they gave me was dirty, and it had no gas in it. They told me I had to put gas in it myself, and that if I didn't return it with the same amount of gas it had when I left the lot, there would be a refueling charge added. Because the tank was only approximately a quarter of a tank full, I had no way of knowing how much gas I would need to put in. When I ask them to fill the tank so that I could take it away with a full tank, they refused. Total shit show. I will never rent from U-Haul again.

I was planning on moving out but then the front garage code broke and I had to pay for another month before I was told how to access the facility and the would not refund that month. The storage warehouse would contently flood and they did not put any new procedures to stop this from happening.

alisa l | Expérience généraleNot a safe place to park your vehicle. Will never do it again. People would throw trash in the truck bed of your vehicle. I even had some one attempt to break in my truck by removing the door lock kit. If you can find somewhere to leave your vehicle, I would recommend that strongly. This is not the place.
