Picked up truck and it didn't have any of the moving equipment that we ordered. Started up the 26 foot truck and the check engine light and oil light was on. Their also was an exhaust leak that exposed the cab of the truck to harmful odors. Needless to say we are glad that experience is over and never again will we use Uhaul! This is unfortunate because I grew up loving Uhaul trucks and my family always used Uhaul.

I was charged more for miles. I didn't receive a call until the day before my rental which was a 30 min drive from my location which messed up my schedule and costed me more money. Very disappointed

Let people know that even though they may choose the 24/7 option, they cannot pick up their truck until an hour before the designated time. The websites are not user friendly for this when there is a problem. If you show up early (even though you chose 24/7 pickup) there is no option to pickup your truck on the website.

I got charged 25 $because I left a water bottle in the back of the truck. Whatever you do, do not leave ANY trash in the truck or you WILL be charged a cleaning fee, even for a single water bottle. Otherwise, a very easy transaction from start to finish.

Location did not have the equipment I reserved, despite the online booking reservation guarantee. I then had to drive an hour further and roughly 60 miles to get the truck I needed and was left responsible for the fuel used in the trip there and back in my personal vehicle along with the extra fuel burned in the truck. I was also left to have purchase two furniture dollies because the first location I made my reservation didn't have any and the location i picked up the truck was a closed facility that I had to watch a video to get the keys.

The driver and passengers' seats were dirty and you can see that someone fed a dog there. There were dogs food under the seat and the front of the truck smelled bad. The portion for loading contain trashed from Chick-Fill-A. Renters should be advised not to litter in the truck nor used the truck to feed their pets.

Ordered 6 blankets to protect furniture. They were not in the truck. No one was available to assist us despite being told the facility was open. Mobile phone process to get key is not user friendly and cell service was spotty at best. The whole ordeal was unnecessarily difficult.

My original reserved location was in Prairieville..(guaranteed to be there but was NOT) My 15' truck was not there. I had to drive 2 hours round trip to go to Baker to pick up this truck and cancel plans I had. This is unacceptable. I still had to pay full price and for extra gas driving so far out of my way.

Vehicle was inside filthy. Old and run down The overall cost of almost 600 $for a 26 hour Hurricane disaster response trip was excessive. That's 600 $that could have gone into more Aid for community. Half would have been fine but I'll use another carrier next time.

Truck wouldn't start at the beginning of rental, jumper cables were needed to start the truck, the truck ran awe full, it was shaking, it seem like the front end was messed up, passenger door would not open from the inside, you had to keep letting down the window to open the door , the truck kept hesitating to start, sometimes it would take a long time to start, it was a horrible experience, the door knob on the driver's side kept coming off.

I had issues with the website. It wouldn't recognize my phone and made checking out a pain. The vehicle ended up costing way more than was originally anticipated and I didn't even use the full time window.

The pick-up process via cell phone is not user-friendly. Maybe there is an app that I missed which would have made this process easier. After several phone calls, I was able to figure it out but there has got to be an easier way.

Having to get approved after we had already reserved it sucked... It took over 10 mins of waiting.. The site basically told us that they had nothing to do with the rentals. The old way of renting was so much better... Your APP SUCKS

Have the battery charged and ready. We needed the bigger one but it wouldn't crank. Then we got charged for the bigger truck. The gas was exactly where it was when we picked it up but still got charged for gas. Never again.

Changed my pick up location without notice. Truck had known prior mechanical problems but was still rented out and broke down before we were able to complete our move. Horrible experience. Will never use again. EVER !!

I had not chosen this location but one closer to me, however for some reason it was changed by UHaul as they decided it was more convenient for them to switch me from inside pickup to 24/7 pickup. This was the reason for using more miles than necessary causing additional charges. Also the 24/7 pickup was long & difficult process as I could not get good internet service at this location & the pictures I kept sending in were not accepted. I could not go inside since it was not open.
