Having to get approved after we had already reserved it sucked... It took over 10 mins of waiting.. The site basically told us that they had nothing to do with the rentals. The old way of renting was so much better... Your APP SUCKS

Have the battery charged and ready. We needed the bigger one but it wouldn’t crank. Then we got charged for the bigger truck. The gas was exactly where it was when we picked it up but still got charged for gas. Never again.

I had not chosen this location but one closer to me, however for some reason it was changed by UHaul as they decided it was more convenient for them to switch me from inside pickup to 24/7 pickup. This was the reason for using more miles than necessary causing additional charges. Also the 24/7 pickup was long & difficult process as I could not get good internet service at this location & the pictures I kept sending in were not accepted. I could not go inside since it was not open.

There needs to be someone who knows what they are doing. We were there for a long time as he was having problems doing anything on the computer. We left and loaded the trailer amd when we got back he still didn't have the problem solved. I finally had to talk to a lady on the phone to get it straightened out. We picked that location as it was about 1/4 mile from where we loaded. He just wasn't qualified to handle the transaction.

I have to say that the workers were nice but I must say that I personally was embarrassed driving the truck rented to me. It made loud noises when you cranked it and the vehicle would only go 30 mph! It took me 45 minuets to drive 13 miles because if you drove over 30 the truck would SHAKE and I was scared of loosing control if the vehicle. I have driven just about every type of vehicle out there from a small car to a fire truck. I understand that everything aged but it was very unacceptable considering I ended up parking on the side if the road unloading the entire truck into my friends trucks because I was scared of it breaking anymore than it was. I also didn't want to be charge if I didn't have it back and with it driving way below what most speeds are posted I knew if I had siren it any further I wouldn't make it in time. I called and a manager was suppose to call me back but sadly no one ever returned my call! Very disappointing considering I will be having to move out of a storage unit in about 6 months. Uhaul just lost this customer

UHaul dealer 45317 in Charlotte, NC connected me with Sams Gas/UHaul rentals in Foley, Alabama. We were coordinating a move between family members in 4 states and David made every step of this experience amazing and stress free. David was so responsive and so resourceful and kept in close touch until all arrangements were made and the move was complete. What ever the highest score, he deserves that and so much more. I will recommend Uhaul to anyone who has a move of any size. You all have awesome representatives! Thank you again for making this move so easy!

Same thing with the drop off location, it was another 8 miles away from the city from where I was moving again using up the allotted 35 miles on a one way rental which again is absurd, this again costing more money for mileage plus the extra gas.

Get rid of trucks with floating gas needles. Other than that Sams Uhaul is a grwat place. And the people are nice and customer friendly.

Please ask the salesperson to pay Attention to the reservation drop off location. When asked by clerk Chelsea or Hoover, we said Chelsea and she put in Hoover which was 50 miles from our location. It was pure insanity getting it changed. Basic 1800 not helpful at all. Dave at pick up location finally changed our drop off location after 1 hour of unhelpful discussions with Kimberly Russell. After a very tiring day of moving, our experience was horrible leaving us with only other companies to consider for future moves.

At first they tried to say he went 20 miles and when he objected they said oh year you did only go 10 miles. Then he had already put in 2 gallons of gas and they made him put in 3 more for a total of 5 gallons. It doesn't make sense that they made my husband put 5 gallons of gas to go 10 miles. . The truck is VERY old and dilapidated and if we had of had to go far we wouldn't have wanted to use it. We have rented trailers from the same location 2 times over the past month for different family members who were moving and the customer service was good. Tonight's experience will have us going to a different location for our rental needs. Also, your advertisement says for a 26' truck the mileage is 69 cents per mile and we were charged 89.

Call before you pick up your truck because they might not have it there even though you have it reserved. My one way rental turned into a return to the same location. My so called 52 mile one way trip cost me $68 in gas alone.

have the gas pumps working at this location since it is a gas station and it would be very helpful for filling up at return time.

Truck was low on oil, air pressure was low. Lady said not to worry and if we had problems call 800 number. The truck says that is it is our responsibility to check oil and if it is low and something happens we are liable. She didn't offer the quart of oil that was low. We had to purchase it ourselves. Luckily we got insurance because the truck leaked water from the rain and everything was covered in water.

This location is a gas station in which we were going to put gas in the uhaul to get the gas level back to where it needed to be according to our contract with uhaul to return it with the same amount of gas in it that was in ot when we rented it. However this place was out of gas at the time. The gentelmen in charge said if u will just leave$25 with the paper work, as soon as our gas gets here we will put the gas in it so it will be at the proper level for return. We left without receipt and are now being billed from uhaul for interrupting our contract with uhaul.

All the info I spent time with online reserving a trailer (and thinking it was prepaid)....card info, names, etc...was unable to be viewed on this location's computer. We waited an hour for our trailer...and had to start all over as a new customer... need to make sure agents working for Uhaul are trained so as to make the pickup as efficient as possible.

Was really angry U Haul charged us a whole days rent and not pro rate us for the two hours late, but yet we picked it up almost two hours late, why is this? especially when we're down on our luck with the Isaac storm that blew us from our little house built in 1963! That was also pro rated for the insurancewe put on it. We will definetly get a Penske next timeThey didn't call to confirm our reservation, as they said they were really busy! We were really busy trying to beat the storm. We also thought they were not very friendly when we took it back.

We were sooooo frustrated with YOUR policies. We made a reservation to rent a truck from the nearest location to us, and assumed that it would be guaranteed to be at that location. We found out later that our reservation was not guaranteed to be where we wanted it to be, and that it was your policy to work in that way. We were very upset, and took it out on the service person at the Sam's location. I later apologized to her that I was frustrated over your policies. That policy really did leave a bad taste in my mouth, and I will think twice about renting from U-Haul the company! I did however appreciate the service people at the location we picked up our U-Haul truck, and will do all I can to help promote their gas station business.

The fuel refill when truck is returned makes no sense. If you start off with a full tank and return the truck with a full tank is quite simple. But when you start with a tank at 5/8 to 3/4 full and then have to return it at the same level is in my opinion ridiculous! But thanks to the gentleman who gave us terrific service at Sams Gas, we were very pleased! Thank you!

This location was convenient but the provider was poorly trained and lacked customer service skills. A $29 daily fee advertised, but after insurance, milage and gas I was charged $120 for 4 hours/60 miles if use.

1st location did not have correct size and told us 2nd location would wait on us; they did not. We arrived there at 5:15. 3rd location did not have a clue as to how to work the computer--waited an hour before she would call someone to walk her thru the rental process.
