The location was changed from what I had selected and sent me to one of the more dangerous parts of Chicago. Further more, the blankets that I had rented were not in the back of the truck as promised. Customer service was absolutely horrible. I still have not been refunded for the blankets.

I received a call from a shockingly rude and condescending woman from Uhaul who spoke over me using a belittling and punitive conversational approach. I have been in communication with Dee, who owns the location I rented from. He is an amazing business owner, and is the reason I have continued to rent from Uhaul for several years. The woman who called left me feeling terrible, and eventually had the truck reclaimed with all of my equipment in it. She left very skewed, intentionally inaccurate notes on the account and has now severely impeded my production week. I am now incurring additional costs outside of the rental, and most likely, will not be able to return product stores in the back of the truck, which is worth more than the cost of the rental. The only reason you do not have an irate, screaming customer right now is due to Dee’s years long track record of integrity as a businessman. Please speak with Dee directly. I need that truck brought back immediately, as I still have it scheduled until Thursday.

driver door wouldn't close all the way got locked out cause the keys didn't work to open the doors once locked had to call roadside when they came my husband had to help them open the door with a wire hanger. the truck was almost empty

There's nothing wrong with the U-Hauls, but when you unexpectedly have to travel to the ghetto part of the city, it's really not the best location. I arrived at 8am and on the app it said that I couldn't get my U-Haul until 9am. Thankfully someone showed up at 8:15 who was helpful and got me on my way.

Not receiving notification that my pick up location had changed, until after I was attempting to pick it up and called (as well as that the new location was then closed), was extremely unprofessional. This caused me to rent different equipment than needed and was very inconvenient. (Also having the system not use the most up to date and/or all the given contact information was a failing as well.) Thankful the guys at Little Detailing Auto Spa were able to accommodate as well as extremely helpful. This model U-Haul used and the timing completely failed however, and I will do everything in my power to avoid reserving last minute online as well as recommend that to anyone I know.

It was by the grace of GOD that my brother and I meet Mr D at a Roosevelt and Central Park. Our reservation was double booked so we had no truck. Then another owner was very pleasant and offered his location on Harrison and Francisco. Than you so much

This location was very unprofessional. The guy over my reservation overcharged me and added an additional 80 miles to my contract and I only drove the vehicle 3 to 4 miles. In addition, I was charged for an additional day as well--this wasn't accurate. When I reached out to the guy at this location he assured me he would take care of it and proceeded to tell me he would call me back and NEVER did. I was charged a total of $132.87 for a cargo van that was quoted at 17.99/day. I want a full refund or I will call the Better Business Bureau. This is ridiculous!

I was told that the truck had a quarter tank of gas & the truck was nearly on E. The truck smelled a little like cigarette smoke and had ashes. When I dropped off the truck to a suburban location after hours I was charged for returning the truck the way I got it.
