I rented an enclosed 5x8 trailer, after Uhaul decided to change my original pick-up time (on a 15' truck I had reserved from another location) from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm (I have a copy of the original confirmation) without even contacting me- that's a whole other story. So this was the only place I could get a trailer on short notice. This place was helpful and quick, but none of the 3 trailers had working tail lights. At first we thought it might be my car, but he hooked the trailer up to another Uhaul truck and they still didn't work. But I had no other option, so I took the trailer. It just made for a very tense 3 hour trip from Raleigh. My experience with this particular location was good, but my overall uhaul experience was not good.

Juan T.I reserved a truck and appliance dolly online for a large UHaul location near me. When I arrived they said they didn't have the truck or dolly and they had changed my reservation to another location without notifying me. I got to the second location, listed above to find no appliance dolly and a truck so covered with bugs you couldn't see out the windshield. We had to clean the windshield in order to drive it safely. Not impressed.

turner C.The App wasn't working properly. It wouldn't let me upload pictures that were perfectly clear with the intended visibility (gas and mileage). Luckily, the store was open and the clerks helped me. The UHaul App could use improvement. This location was 5 star service.

Young R.Not open until noon on sundays....and I did not know that. I would have been rather pissed if I wanted an early morning pick up. Seatbelt was broken and tire were low on air. No one checked me back in, I got the feeling the place was dangerous after dark, and hurried back before they closed.

Carolyn W.We were schedule to pick up the car dolly on Sat. afternoon in Jacksonville NC, Friday we were told they did not have on and told we could pick on up 5 minutes away. 15 minute later we were told that one was rented and there were none available within 30 mile. We found one in Raliegh, NC (two hours away) and it had to be pick up Friday morning. We do there and couldn't rent it because it was damaged then after 40 minutes on hold with U-Haul we found a car dolly 15 minutes away. Once we loaded the car on it on Saturday evening we discovered the patched tire on the car dolly had a leak. We spent 100 minutes on hold with U-Haul before we were able to talk to someone about the leaky tire and it was another 2 hours before someone show up to fix it.

SPENCER S.The reservation said 100 % guaranteed. Then I get an email saying to go to this location. It was out of the way and there is no gas station nearby. More miles and more gas. No straps come with the truck. Might as well look at other companies and spend a bit more. This dirt cheap option isn't even that cheap.
Tracey L.I went a total of 27 miles. I was charged for 4 gallons of gas. There is no way 27 miles took 4 gallons of gas. Beware. This location charges you gas for mileage you did not drive. I would never rent from this location again and will discourage everyone I know from renting here also.

Casey M.Never again will I use Uhaul, poor customer service and lack of communication. Made a reservation to only get 2 calls and be told It's arriving late, I said ok no problem I'll be there at 3. As am on my way to my pick up location, I get another call saying it won't be available and it won't be back for another 2 days. I told her I couldn't wait and I needed it for today, she then proceed to move my reservation to another location without even asking me if it's okay. Told me all she can do is extend my rental for 18hrs, and she couldn't help me. I had to drive further out to pick up the truck ruining my plans for the day. I called customer service, was placed on a call back list. Spoke with someone explained my situation and was placed on hold. While on hold I get transferred to someone else who couldn't even help me, she place me on hold and the call disconnects. I called back to be on hold for an hour and call gets disconnected. I kept calling and still my calls never got answered. The only good service I receive was at my new pick up location, all other's suck.

Michelle R.A mini mart employee saw me pull in and came out to the truck to greet me. Very pleasant, asked if I had any questions. Said all he needed was the key and I would receive an email receipt which I did within an hour of dropping the truck off. Very easy.
Scott K.This is a bit complicated. My experience at Little Sue's was great. But my original locations was on Center Street, in Apex, NC. That was less than enjoyable. Location Services didn't work well at the location, and once I finally got to my vehicle's lockbox, the code had already been entered and the key was gone. Worse yet, none of the boxes had a key in them. The location had already closed for the day, but there was a very helpful woman I spoke to on the phone, who guided me to Little Sue's. Not sure if there is a way to track down who she was, but she was very, very helpfully. Thanks!!
