The gentleman who assisted with picking up and returning my rental was top notch! Very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and patient! He was also very kind and accommodating to my children. He represented U-Haul in the best way and made the whole rental process very pleasant. I will absolutely return to this location for any future UHaul rental needs! ðŸ™‚Julianna E.
This location is about 10 miles from my home and there are a number of U-Haul locations closer however, apparently, the equipment I wanted was not available at one of those locations.THEODORE C.

Better communication with all involved. I chose the Fair Lane location the night before and woke up to see it had changed to Logtown which is out of the way and not near any gas stations for the refill. Had to overestimate gas refill just in case. The market clerk had to call the uhaul agent because he never got notified that I had reserved a truck and received an email instructing me to go there. At least everyone involved was helpful and did what they could in spite of a system glitch and I was able to get my move done.Dolores Z.

Very frustrating. We had one reserved for a local pick up and were called a couple days prior - told that due to a "severe shortage crisis in CA" there wasn't a trailer of any size locally. There was only one to be found and we had to drive over an hour out of our way to get it. U-Haul should have made sure that unit was brought to the local store for us. This location was also difficult to find.David L.

Ok... the service at the location was fantastic, so let me start there. However, I reserved my U-haul 2 weeks in advance for a pick up location in Roseville, Ca. 2 day's before I needed to pick up the truck and dolly, I received a call to confirm my truck and dolly reservations and found out that the dolly had to be picked up at an alternate location, which was about an hour away from where I originally made the reservation. It was about 45 miles each way to pick up the dolly. And then to top it off, when I returned the u-haul, I was charged for going over the expected mileage. If you force me to drive an extra 90 miles in order to pick up my reserved dolly, don't be surprised when people go over their mileage. I should be refunded my 9,6 plus tax. I should also be compensated for the cost of gas going each way to this alternate location.Benjamin M.

I originally made a reservation for a 26ft uhaul in the Diamond Springs area one week ahead for September 10th. I was traveling a far distance, had made plans with faraway neighbors and relatives for help with loading the Uhaul due to a family loss. I was well into my travel time to pick up the uhaul when I received a phone call saying that a regular customer would not be returning the truck I reserved. I asked if they had other trucks and was told no. I was given the option to drive an additional 10 to 15 minutes further and they had one at Logtown. Or, I could wait until Monday for a 20ft. I explained that this was an inconvenience with time as well as more mileage and that I wasn't comfortable leaving my car overnight in at a store on the side of the hwy. I was upset and used profanity to express my frustration and disappointment. Not once was this directed toward him. He offered to give me a refund of 50 and asked for my atm credit information. I phoned Logtown Uhaul and confirmed my reservation. When I arrived and asked to pick up the uhaul, I was told that my reservation had been cancelled. The owner made some phone calls and got me right on my way. I called Dylan from Diamond Springs Uhaul and he told me that he cancelled my order and blacklisted me after we got off the phone earlier in the day. I explained that I had just lost a loved one and that I had just lost my home. I never got my 50 refund and am wondering why he asked for my bank information before we got off the phone if he immediately called "corporate" to blacklist me and cancel my reservation? This service at this location was very good. The overall service from uhaul was terrible. We got confirmed twice by two different people the day before. We chose the location close to our home. When we arrived they sent us 20 minutes away to another location. We wanted to drop it off near our new home but was told we had to drive it back. Then we are charged for all the extra miles. What should have been a fast easy, low miles moving job turned into a royal pain and almost 200 $. We will chose another company next time.Kenneth B.
Apparently, Logtown Country Market is a fairly new U-Haul pickup location. The guy who rented the trailer to me muddled through the process, but since it's also a grocery store, if there are customers buying groceries, U-Haul customers have to wait. We didn't have to wait very long. The guy didn't give me a lot of confidence that he knew how to properly hook up the trailer to the truck, but it worked, so it's all good.Diana H.

Make sure the truck is actually clean and you can see out the windshield without looking thru hundreds of splattered bugs. Also might be nice if the truck has no mechanical issues such as the one I rented, fyi-still not properly diagnosed and repaired. Next customer that rents it will be scratching there head, why did I get this POS.Lee M.

Again, the process for returning the trailer was simple and easy. The manager was quite competent and equally important, friendly. Quite impressed with UHaul and they WILL DEFINITELY get my future business.Steven M.
I reserved a car tow dolly and a 15' moving truck. The tow dolly was located 94 mi (one way) from the location of the truck (in Salida, CA). I was not informed of this until the day before I was to pick up the rental. I am extremely upset and very dissatisfied with UHaul and will NEVER give you my business again. Even though I have now spent approximately 5 000 $in rental fees over the past four years with UHaul (trailers, trucks, tow dollys etc...) you will not get any more business from me. It is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable that I had to go almost 200 miles to get a car tow dolly that I had reserved 2 weeks in advance. This is terrible customer service. Additionally, the individual that I was speaking to in the scheduling office responsible for Modesto, CA was not at all helpful or courteous to me and hung up the phone on me when I was informing him of my displeasure with the tow dolly situation. I REPEAT, UHAUL WILL NEVER GET ANY OF MY BUSINESS AGAIN!!!!!!!!cory D.
