Gretchen OosteninkFirst- these are not just yes and no questions. If you are truly interested in useful feedback you'd deign the responses with a gradient at least. Second- renting through the app is tedious and frustrating. It might be saving you some labor but it's not winning you any friends. 3rd- in the app there's no way to comment on the condition of the inside other than clean or unclean. The drivers seat was ripped up and coming apart. 4th- my images on returning the truck would not upload and I wasted a lot of time. I finally just dropped the keys & left without confirmation, which was quite disconcerting. I still have no confirmation that all is finalized. I would not recommend this renting experience.

Jacob KelleyYour app doesn't work at all on 5g network...i live in a rural area anyways and the app was no help. I had to call but they needed the info uploaded which the app would just keep starting over. Very unfriendly use. Luckily i added wifi to my instar for my vehicle to get wifi for the app to work. This caused a hour behind of moving my stuff from a toxic situation.

Vinny ThompkinsNot sure how I feel about this latest experience with U-Haul. I ended up needing this rental for over 2 weeks and while every time I call to ask for an extension, a customer service representative helped me do that, I was very frustrated and disappointed that I couldn't do it for the website or the app. With every extension I paid the required amount but upon returning the truck, the app tried tell me I owed over $550! I immediately disagreed with the charges and waited to hear from U-Haul. After not hearing anything back from them I ASSumed all was good until my girlfriend informed me that ALL of the charges from every extension was taken off of her Chime account. (The account we used to get the reservation but switched over to a different account for the extensions) I don't know what's going on or deal is just yet but I definitely know that I am not paying for this contract out of 2 separate accounts!!! And I will be talking to the right people on my end to get to the bottom of my missing money!!!!
John StrongReturn process via the app is clunky. Someone really needs to think through how much data is being transmitted in this process, given half your locations are in the middle of no where.
Andrew SmithWhen we picked up the uhaul it did contain some garbage in it. A child's sock and some other paper. I removed the paper but not the sock. We moved pieces of furniture. We left nothing in the uhaul when we finished but the sock that was there when we picked it up. We were charged $15 for a cleaning fee that should have been charged to the previous renter. The truck should have been cleaned before we picked it up.

Barnabas BollerI for one have a disability and unfortunately the key lock box and location contact less pick up before or after hours or if a place is closed you can pick it up I hated and wasn't for me, And on top of that I get a call 6:30pm the night before that the truck i needed wasn't their and I'll have to go to another location to get it, Bad way unfortunately to deal with people though I understand you can never make everyone happy but little stuff like that annoyed me

MayMarie HartensteinOriginally was supposed to pick up rental at the Teal avenue location in Syracuse NY. Not only were the staff openly discussing their drug and alcohol use the night before, they did not know how to operate or navigate thru the operating system to release my rental. This is what I think was the real issue. I was then directed to pick up the rental equipment over an hour away. This severely impacted my schedule.
Anthony RossiEasy access and hook-up. The owner was pleasant. The lights did not work at first, but my son noticed the wires on trailer connections had been cut somehow. Luckily the owner had another line for this and we replaced it within minutes, All set. Other than that he trailer itself was in excellent condition. Uhaul does make check-in long and I think somewhat intrusive, they want so much info when one contact person in case of emergency a credit card a valid license of you and anyone else that may drive should do.
