Functional but much older equipment (110k miles and loud exhaust), furniture dolly wasn't in the unit although I had to pay for it, dimly lit location, no light at the key area and had to use flashlight just to be able to enter the code on the lock. The issues with the renting and validation (aka assurance) are due to the uhaul system and their employees. No a great experience.
Ronald RTell them ramps are not included in the rental! It's not Manchesters fault, it is UHaul that I talked to. Very unsatisfied! I would like someone to call me at 330 581 2045.
LYNNETTE WThe manager at the Talmadge Avenue store is the real hero. I was visiting Ohio for my dad's burial and wasn't in the best place. The manager not only searched for what I needed but he also made sure it was a good price. I also sent my brother to him and he hooked my brother from Nevada as well. He went above and beyond and he should be a customer service trainer for your company. What an asset.

Stormie BI am not impressed with using the app to pick up and drop-off the truck. It took me over 1 and a half hours to pick it up and over an hour to drop off. Otherwise I was extremely satisfied with the truck. It was really clean even in the back and very smooth ride.

BRENT FNo help to attach trail or unattach it. It was a six by twelve model. I am 84 years old. The temp remained around 8 to 13 degrees during this period. I was unable to attach trailer on the first day so I paid an extra day, went home and got a 10 foot spud bar and my daughter and I got iot attached. Thanks for what service?
Adrian BYou couldn't improve the customer service at this location! The person was EXTREMELY kind and patient!! The first trailer had damage and lights out. She quickly moved me to another trailer with no issues.
David WI do not recommend Manchester storage to anyone. I chose this location as a drop off for the auto trailer that we rented out of state because this location was close to us. I received a phone call telling me that I had to have the trailer at the U-Haul location by 9:00 a.m. or it was considered late and I would be billed for another day. Upon arriving at the location it was evident that the facility itself did not open until 10:00 a.m. I dropped the trailer in a parking spot and left. Later the same day, U-Haul Corp calls me asking about the "Accident claim". Manchester Storage filed a false insurance claim stating that I damaged a retaining wall. I will not be recommending Manchester Storage to anyone.

WILLIAM SMy main issue is with the app used for this interaction. Multiple times it failed/closed out while trying to receive the rental & return it. It took me over 30 minutes to get my rental & having to talk to someone over the phone for them to bypass things for me. Then upon returning it, the app submitted itself as complete before I took the photos to prove it was clean & received directions for returning the key.

David SBilling has been a disaster. Billed for furniture pads we never received. Customer service said it was credited, but only credited a portion of the cost. New invoice received and has the full charge back on the final invoice. Frustrated! Not sure how much of this is on the Manchester location vs UHaul corporate - looks to be UHaul corporate from my perspective. Pathetic no matter how you look at it.
Michael HThis location was clean- looks professional and very well kept. I was told I could drop off truck at this location and drop a key in the box- this was correct; the key drop is very obvious on the building. However, staff on site were very angry and not friendly or polite. I'm not a mind reader about where you want your vehicles parked so there's no need to be angry about initially parking the truck in a legitimate parking spot.
JESSICA BOnline it said key was in lock box in cargo area of truck. It was not. It was on telephone pole behind another truck, partially hidden. I finally found it after about 10 minutes.

ROBERT MNothing! The online check in/out was convenient since I wanted to pick the truck up before the location opened. When I returned the truck, the girl at the location was very friendly and helpful.

Heather TWhen returning the truck I stopped and put 3 gallons in to make up for what I used. I only drove about 25 miles total. But was told I didn't refill the truck to where it was at pickup. My card was charged 27 dollars for fuel. This is incorrect and I would like customer service to respond and get this resolved please

David HWe were told where the truck 'should be located outside' and were never shown the truck by the employee. The gas gauge was never discussed or shown as to what the level of gasoline was. We assumed we should replace the fuel level to what it was upon renting the truck. When we got to the drop off location, we were going to be charged $12,75 for additional fuel. The drop off location refunded and erased this cost because we left the truck with MORE fuel in it than when we rented off of the Akron lot. The trick was very dirty inside with a used paper towel and old snacks/food on the floor, dirt and debri all over the seats, floor, and dashboard. The employee also informed us that since we were renting for a one way trip, he couldn't get the computer to change to one day instead of two. He also told us we would be refunded a portion of money for the "extra day".

David WUpon arrival and trying to use the automated check in system via the U-Haul app on my phone I was not able to. I kept experiencing an error that would not allow me to check in. I chatted with online customer service they could not figure out the error after spending 20 mins with them in chat I decided to call the toll free customer service line. I spent 30 mins with them and they could not figure it out and told me they were going to cancel my reservation and I should book another online to see if that cleared up the error. I did as instructed and I received the same error. Mind you him have movers waiting at my place charging me by the hour. After another 10 minutes I called back into customer service and this time I received someone who knew what was going on. U-Haul never out the truck number is my rental on the reservation so it was not a complete reservation thus causing the error when trying to check in. Now I spend 1,5 hours trying to pick up a truck causing me to be billed for moving services that I could not utilize for that timeframe. Terrible experience with U-Haul. Supposedly I'm going to get a call from a district manager this week..we will see if that happens.
Todd DThe odometer on that particular truck needs to be re calibrated. When I referenced it against my GPS and other vehicles it was adding 2/10 of a mile to every mile. 2/10 of a mile for every mile will add up and cost the customer a lot more money in the long run.

Nick JAs prompted I selected where I wanted to pick up and drop off and U-Haul send me to places out of my way. They demand gas put back where it was or they charge you but they don't reimburse for gasoline I The tank that is over what is in it prior to you taking it. That would be so easy to deduct that from the mileage charge . And when you talk to the assistant they argue the same thing over and over which doesn't make since. I've used your company several times I recent years but I believe I won't use U-Haul again or recommend it to anyone. You really are not a customer service type of place. Both of the rentals the past two weeks had a lot more gas in them when I dropped them off then when I picked them up but I'm out of luck getting any credit for them. You asked.
Laura NWhy would I be scheduled to pick up my truck at a location that was closed? Keys were under the seat. No pads were in the truck - then I was charged for not returning them.

JASON HThe truck I rented was in good overall condition except for one area. As am aircraft and auto mechanic I immediately recognized that it has "front end" problems because of the fact that while driving it wanders left and right and requires constant correction. This undoubtedly means that either the ball joints are very worn or the tie rod(s) are very worn: maybe both.
GEORGE RI was disappointed in the size of this U-Haul. It was described that a small apartment could be moved in this U-haul. there is no way a small apartment could be in the size of this U-Haul.

robert eA location that does not sell/ rent hitches and sell/ rent wiring harnesses and help set up towing should NEVER be utilized. U Haul is known for that service--I could store them at my house for you if you're just pointing and saying" there it is, go hook it up" ridiculous ! Very disappointing from U Haul. Had no idea. Drove all over Gods creation to find plug in and a hitch. Had no way to test brake lights by myself when I hooked up. Absurd . Cand I store these at my shop yard and get paid by UHaul too ?? please
