William ThorpeThe Uhaul had damage that was not easy to see before sun rose and we got charged for it upon return. The Uhaul location that we picked up from did not properly inspect the Uhaul and did not catch the damage. We paid for someone else's damage. The location we dropped off was confusing.

Dirk ParrackSide mirror was loose and fell off the truck while driving down the road and broke. I was charged $250 to replace the mirror because I didn't get the insurance. If I'd had an allen wrench with me I could have fixed it. Don't see how that was my fault.

John ThomasThe problem begins with a flat on the trip. Uhaul demands that they send their own people to repair the flat. Wait time will be 90 minutes when I am located in a town with a tire repair store almost anywhere I look. I am setting at a local Uhaul center when I make the call and they don't want me to trade trailer so I can get on about my trip. No common sense whatsoever in this matter. Finally I get the rep convinced to trade trailers and that process takes nearly the 90 minutes that the flat repairman would have taken. Over the course of my life I have used Uhaul on many occasions but this just may be my last dealings because of Uhau'l "policies" and shear lack of common sense dealings. Not good on your part....Uhaul!

I was scheduled for a trailer in San Antonio, TX but the size I needed was not returned to SA in time for my departure, BUT Mason, TX had my size and since I was driving through that town anyway... it was perfect for me! They were nice and accommodating and I sincerely appreciate it PLUS I didn't had to fight the San Antonio traffic!! Yay!!
Susan GarnerI picked up on a sunday. Truck was there and clean. I ordered pads and a dolly also. They were not. Called customer service and they were helpful but dont understand how you cannot get hold of the people that run the place so that it can be made right. It cost me a day and a 160 hotel stay. (I thought that was a little high also but try finding a room in crockett that your wife will stay in) I told customer service to cancel the pads and dolly that I would try to buy one somewhere. Cant do that either on a sunday in mason because the only place to buy one is from the place that rents out the truck which nobody can contact. I do owe you for the pads and dolly because I had no choice but to come back and pick some up on monday morning. At the drop off they told me I was over my milage and owed more money. They were kind enough to take care of that. I drove the uhaul from mason to menard to load and straight to lovelady to unload then to crockett to drop off just as I agreed. Not a good experience.
Mike ChaneyI think it would be fair to pro-rate the charge accordingly if the vehicle is returned early. I returned my rental truck about 19 hours early and got no credit for that. That means I paid UHaul for 19 hours and they gave me nothing. Please either justify this policy or change it.

Freddy Matthewsmason,tx location u.haul, has been the best location i have ever had a rental experience. the trailer looked almost like new. clean, good tires that matched. pulled easily w/o tugging or drifting. the hitch wasn't beaten, and easy to use. the electrical hooked rite up to mine. no glitching or blinking connection. all lights and signals working. the brakes were smooth, no grabbing or uneven pulling. this trailer was in great mechanical condition. and overall body wasn't beaten or dented in. the paint was good yet. wasn't scratched off. overall i would be proud owner to pull this trailer behind my truck. i rented for a month not knowing in beginning of rental. the owners of this location, were very courteous , patient, and helpful. i'am handicapped, but still can walk. and these folks hitched and unhitched the trailer without me even thinking about asking for assistance. i had a great business experience with this location. thank you. lois m.

Freddy MatthewsThe what numbers were never switched on the contract therefore they were confusions on what was suppose to be returned but no one called us to ask about the items/equipment so thank goodness we went in to report issues with the trucks performance.

Edward SterlingPick up location had great difficulty with U-haul's reservation system. Personnel at pick up location were good, but U-Hauls software seemed to be difficult or not working properly.

Elizabeth KnostmanThe pickup point was changed to Mason the day before my pickup so I had to drive 206 miles to get the trailer and come back to load it. Very inconvienient, I reserved this trailer a month before and all the phone person could tell me was "well the day before my pickup date we assess the availablitiy and make the assignments then. So the guy who called the day before got the same treatment as me. very poor system. trailers should have been moved around internally at UHaul to take care of this problem without major customer inconvienience.
