BIG PROBLEM.--THE WAY YOU CALCULATE FUEL. --- I WAS OVERCHARGED by $34 When I picked up the van on July 20, the milage calculator indicated there was still fuel for 289 miles. I purchased over $50 of fuel at the closest gas station. When I parked the van in front of the dropoff spot at 160 Fieldcrest Av in Edison, the milage calculator indicated the truck had fuel for 310 miles -- 21 miles extra!! I was charged $17 for extra miles, $7 for 1 gal of fuel and $10 flat tax. Please refund extra!!

Jose QuintanaI originally was to pick up my truck in Long branch and then had it changed it to Manalapan NJ telling me so the day before which is 30 minutes or so away. When i got to Manalapan they didnt have the truck i had ordered. I was then told i had to go to Edison to pick up the truck. THIS was terrible and unfair.

Joseph TuckerIt was a rainy the day before so was not expecting outside to be clean however, there was an empty bottle left in the cab from the last customer. I was not expecting the cost to be so high but I guess that is to be expected. Not upset at all with the cleanness or the cost just mentioning it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend this location.

Wayne PetersonI rented the van for 1 day and was charged for 2 days....I picked up the truck at 2:36 and brought it back at 2:30....they charged me for bringing the truck back at 3pm....otherwise everything was fine

Thomas Barrallsignage from the street and on the property was virtually non-existent. There really should be more signs pointing to where the drop off should take place. I drove in, asked somebody, they told me the back of the property, I drove in towing a trailer and then had to back all the way out again with the trailer to park. A few signs would have made a huge difference
MICHAEL SHEPHARDThe DROP OFF LOCATION SHOWN ABOVE IS WRONG! The trailer was left at U-Haul on US Rt 1 in Edison. The e-mail stating that the trailer had been returned was not received until late in the day. The check-in time is shown as 6:45 AM but the e-mail wasn't sent until about 4 PM.

Junda QiuUhaul keeps changing the location even after confirming thru emails. The fieldcrest location is out of way and inconvenient. The keys would not fit in the key drop box and I had to make extra 2 trips to drop off the keys. Still U haul charged the extra money, which is very unfair. Overall Uhaul service is below average and very very expensive compared to Ryders.

tawana hickI rented a cargo van on feb 4-6. To say the interior was dirty is an understatement. It was toxic. The smell was unbearable. I tried driving with the windows open but even that didn't help. I took out the cargo liner in an effort to try and mitigate the odor and the flooring was covered in insects and there was some kind of liquid in the side door jambs. I took it back as soon as possible on Monday, earlier than I originally planned. I informed Eric of these issues upon return and he told me I should tell uhaul. I have pictures documenting these issues. I will not be renting from uhaul again!

First of all I selected desired location and time of 9am in Piscataway, and I got an immediate confirmation that that truck is available at this location. The day before that the truck pick up I got a call that it's only available at a 10am and in Edison, a different town! Now what kind of business is that? Why offer a services at a particular location and then after we pay say it's not available? This happened last time we used Uhaul, but I figured its just a selected incident. But it seems as if this is how you guys do business. Shame on you! Then I call to complain to Uhaul and the only thing they can do is offer us a pick up the day before at the location that is not convenient to us. I took that offer, since I had no other choice. Then we go to pick up the Uhaul truck at the Edison location and we were just driving 2 minutes away. We call the place to let them know that we are coming to pick up the truck so they can wait for us. They said they close at 5pm and that they would not wait for us. What a shame, and terrible business, could not wait 2 minutes after their work time. We got there at 5:02pm and all light off and no one there. I have never been treated like a rag. Will never do business with Uhaul and Miller Rentals AGAIN!!!!!.

JESSICA STOLPI would like to receive my vehicle with a full tank of fuel. This way before I return the vehicle, I could just fill it up and return it. Otherwise, I have to remember how much fuel was in the vehicle and then I have to take a guess as to how much to put in. This last rental I drove almost 67 miles and I figured the vehicle should get about 12 mpg. I put in 6 gallons of fuel and I had to add more. It is not so terrible but it was time consuming. Other than that the location was outstanding and I will use them the next time I am in need of a rental!
