The wait was a little long due to the way this particular place schedules pickups on Saturday. I would suggest if they are going to schedule in this manner that they have another person available to help move the line along.

1)Dead Bug residue on windshield ....... 2)MPG read ~10 mpg in transit,topped off fuel & it equaled about 6 mpg. For just a 90 mile rental, suspect it wasn't full when I got the vehicle.otherwise ok.....do i need to top off the fuel before i drive it anywhere? that's a nusance.

The website said that the cheapest option was available, and when we came in on Tuesday we were told the $19.95 one was available for Wednesday. Come to find out AFTER we had already agreed to pick up that only a $39.95 was available. Plus there were hidden fees that we weren't told about. The truck also was started BELOW the quarter tank mark, meaning we had no choice but to put gas in it. I had enough money in my account JUST to pay for this truck. Now I can't eat for the next week and a half because of us being lied to about price/availability. 0/10 would not recommend.

The gasoline gauge as recorded on the contract was inaccurate by nearly a quarter tank, and the mileage was recorded one mile less than what the equipment read. This was told to the business and adjustments were made. Well done.

We picked up the Uhaul and it was at 1/4 tank gas so we had to fill it right away. The truck wasn't "dirty", but it wasn't overly clean and seemed to by quite shaky on the freeway.

We stopped in at a local u haul location an the lady was not helpful at all. So we looked into the one in the next town Mills Automotive was so helpful we rented from them. They were so easy to work with, if you need a u haul check them out!

The lady was amazing and even worked on a time that would work for me even though they were not open on the weekend. She made it a point to come in on her day off to help me get a dolly for a trip that was last minute. Excellent service! Truly grateful for all their help.

We rented a 6 x 12 trailer. There is no device to hold the hitch up, so we had to pick it off the ground to mound on our ball. It was too heavy to lift, so had help by the rental agent, 2 men, to help lift. You need a support to keep the hitch up to assist in the mounting process.

Update to better software to make the check in process at the location quicker. I had done the early check in, and have used Uhaul for several years now. You would think the system should know me and not have to go through everything again when picking up. It took over 15 minutes. That's not good.

There was a problem with my uHaul pick up process that led me to being on the phone with uHaul support for an hour. I'm not sure if it was with the location or a problem with uHaul. Either way it hurt my moving experience. It really sucked.

The reason for my below average rating is because of the customer service we received. The employees were not polite. When we returned our trailer they were all eating lunch in the office & chewing their food while speaking to me. Not to mention the 3 or 4 dogs they had barking the whole time. We had rented a trailer in the past & never had to make constant contact with the uhaul location. This woman, Samantha, wanted to know our every move. Did not make our experience easy.

We had to drive all around to pick up the dolly and trailer. No one told us that would be necessary. And the trailer was too small because someone didn't know what extended cab meant. Your system is not compatible with happy customers.

When reserving the van, told person on the phone I’d only have the van for 4-5 hours. Said it didn’t matter when it’s returned, rental is 24 hours. When I called 800-#, I? asked them to change the time that was input from 3-7 pm & they told me not to worry, again 24 hour rental.....was charged double for 2 days, went less then 10 miles. Had the van from 4 pm until 9:30 pm. Please adjust my credit card to reflect one day. (Tried to call several times but after waiting 15 minutes or more hung up.) When checking out, tried to hit box at bottom that said I? disagree with these charges but so close to payment bar, finger must of hit it & it processed payment despite my not agreeing with amount charged. Was unaware phone needed google chrome or safari to “check in online” took one hour to figure out, didn’t leave parking lot Until 4 pm. One hour. Phone wait times to get help are abnoxiously long, although every one is helpful when a human finally answers. Was told some one would call 24 hours in advance to confirm van/location, call never came. Could of asked questions or some one could of verified instructions then. Please let me know when you adjust the credit card. Thanks

We had reserved a U-Haul for Palmyra. About a week before we picked it up they told us we would have to pick one up from a different location. That is fine I know things happen. That location though added on an extra 20 miles. They would not credit us for that difference at all. We basically had to pay an extra $20 for driving expenses plus gas because they had the error of not locating the right U-Haul. If that happens in the future, they should at least charge us the distance from Palmyra, where we are were originally picking it up, to our destination. Not the new location we had to go out of our way to pick it up from.

After hours pick up was a nightmare. Couldn't get good photos in car after dark, failed the 'skills test' that I wasn't aware I was going to need to do or that a problem with this would stop the after hrs pick up. Had movers coming at 9 am and spent 1 hr 45 min in the parking lot, in the dark using a cumbersome service was insulted that I "failed the test" then I cried in the parking lot. Yeah, it sucked. Had to worry all night I'd have to call off move or delay in am. ..

They changed me $25 for a “cleaning” fee, which I felt was unnecessary. The only thing they maybe had to do was sweep out the truck, which takes a minute. I just couldn’t find my broom after the move, otherwise I would have. I feel like it is excessive.

Too Dark for drop off and we couldnt find the key drop. Charged double even though person on phone said it didn't matter time length. We only had the truck for 1045-815 but time it took to figure out onl8ne pickupdropoff was a bit longer our eatimated 8 hours it took to move was only off by a half hour...sucks to have to pay double for that so we would probably choose a different company in the future.

The office person was rude. I waited while she was trying to start a car she was trying to sell. When I finally got her attention, she told me to go in her office and wait. It was 1:20 and I reminded her I had an appointment to pick up the trailer at 1, she told me I could rent the trailer elsewhere. I sat another 10 minutes until she was finished and completed the transaction. I will never rent a UHaul from Mills Automotive again!
