Outside looks like a junkyard/not like a â€œrealâ€ Uhaul location. Could be cleaned up. The inside is a little beat too, but has everything you need. Service was good.Grace J.

Make sure truck is clean and that the vehicle is inspected for damages/holes in tires. The kid working the desk was not tracking what trucks were clean and if I hadn't asked if the truck was good we would of found a whole bunch of stuff in the back. Overall I wouldn't use them again.JUSTINADAM V.

In error (Per CSR), charged for an extra third day. Also, charged a 30,00 $ service fee for gas although I return the truck with the same amount of gasoline. Did not receive a 44,00 $ refund for milage not used. The Charlottesville, VA location referred me to U-Haul Richmond office. The latter CSR was very uncooperative and basically refused to make any refunds trying to extract all extra charges at any cost.CODINANDREI A.

A busy center that would benefit from additional personnel. This center had the trailer that I needed whereas other near by centers only carried trucks. The young man who helped me did a great job of processing me through and getting me on my way in a reasonable timeframe as customers continued to arrive.MORRISMILTON E.
I returned the trailer on a Sunday afternoon while the store was closed. The instructions of how to leave the rented trailer were not clear at all. The place that I ended up having to leave it was muddy and not covered by gravel or rock to prevent a muddy experience by the customer. There was a lock that prevented us from being able to fully close the latch on the back. We had to tie another rope to make sure the door stayed secured.Keturah B.
We picked up the truck while the office was open and returned it when it was closed. The return process was not easy to follow and not user-friendly. We managed it, but while we were struggling we watched and spoke with several customers who were hugely frustrated while trying to pick up using remote instructions.Margaret S.

Word of warning. If you use the mobile check in, you are at high risk of being stranded if checking in after hours. The system took 25 minutes to even start our check in approval process. Once it started, the system kept rejecting our alternative contact info, saying we could not use the phone number already on the reservation, even though we kept giving it many different contact numbers. Eventually, we just cancelled mobile check in and walked into the office, which was fortunately open, and did manual check in in 2 minutes. The attendant told us the mobile check in system is very buggy and some people breeze through and some people crash like us. Very frustrating. Do not use mobile check in if picking up after hours. Next time, we will use the old fashion way and talk to a real person.Henry H.

This is my favorite UHaul in Charlottesville. The service is exceptional!Christina C.
Only got a truck by luck of being on phone with a representative when one showed up. Had a reservation but there was no communication form UHaul that there was an issue with the availability of equipment. Truck we got was a 15 foot truck which was much bigger than the 10 foot truck we needed. This cost us an extra 20 $-25 in gas at 10mpg instead of 12 mpg the 10 foot trucks get. we were desperate and took whatever was available. did not receive a call or email the day prior alerting us there was an equipment issue. would have gotten there Saturday AM and been without a truck. fortunately I called Friday afternoon to confirm the reservation and discovered the equipment issue.ROBERTBENJAMIN G.
It was a nightmare to get my truck on the day I needed it. Almost didn't have it for an interstate move! The Uhaul guy on Emmett St in Charlottesville should be fired. Moose's Creek people were much better. Truck ran well and we arrived with no issues once we got the truck.WENDYANN C.

Large number of unrequested packing blankets (and their plastic wrappers) were in cargo area. I left those as I found them. Our business uses U-Haul vans every week, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. Thankfully the folks at Moose's are regularly onsite since your app is basically useless. I like being able to drop the truck off by following the directions on line. It was easy and no contact required.Melissa H.
1. Shifting of the automatic transmission on the truck was quite rough. 2. Should have employees wear some sort of UHaul ensignia - hat, shirt or name tag. Employees were wearing jeans or shorts and a T-shirt making it difficult to know who the workers were.Roger F.

Mobile check in process was lengthy and confusing. We had to keep unlocking and starting the vehicle to get more info the app was asking. WiFi at the location necessary for mobile check in was password protected and it was after hours, no one available to help at 4 pm.Karen L.
Check-in process took 25 minutes, and for a 2 hour rental, that's 25 % of my time. The mobile check-in required the "approval" period, and I was stuck waiting for the "approval" of my reservation, which I had already made online previously, for too long. Good equipment, but terrible systemization. Please make this a more efficient system.Donovan F.
