The truck was muddy in the drivers area and in the back. Not terrible, but not clean either. Also this was NOT the location where I made the reservation! I was not happy to have to drive further to pick up the truck AND they did NOT have my documentation complete even though I submitted everything online ahead of time!Linda M.

I was told the day before pickup that a 5x8 was not available and that they had checked a 100 mile radius around me before they called. Then after being on the phone with them for 10 mins, they were able to find one. This was the main call center in Houston not the Bryan location. Also, the original 5x8 I picked up had a hole in the roof and was taped up to keep the water out which did not work.Cristian V.

I was originally scheduled to drop off at Warrior Fleet Services. When I arrived on Jan 21st to drop off the equipment I was told that they cancelled their contract with UHaul in Dec. 2020. Why I was not notified by UHaul to go to a different location is BEYOND Mel Haul should know better than that. It was a waste of my time and gas.TERRI LYNN T.

Uhaul had food crumbs all over the driver seat, the other seats had grease all over them, the trailer had a box in the back and dirt and trash all in it.Ashley B.
I made my reservation online for a truck and 2 furniture dolly's. They let me in the gate to get the truck and left to lunch before I had a chance to ask for dolly's then had to wait for 30 min only to have them tell me they didn't have any at that location and would have to drive to another location. I had to drive to 2 different locations because the second location they sent me to had only one! When I returned the truck I was told they could check it in for me and didn't have to do the self check in online, well when I received my receipt I was billed for 2 days instead of just one! Thankfully U-Haul customer service department was very helpful they refunded me the extra day I was charged and even refunded me some or the mileage!Allen A.

This Uhaul has always been good to us. We have storage there and rent the vans for the local college games and for games up to 130 miles away. They are quick to help, even when our booking was not done in advance.. I recommend them 100 %Amber C.

Our truck's box area was extremely dirty and smelled terrible. It had not been swept or mopped and was full of dirt (soil) and bugs (roaches). We, of course, discovered this AFTER getting the truck back to the house. The service provided by the leasing agent was very good. She was pleasant and did a great job getting us hooked up with a trailer before the rain.Cliff B.

I specified that I wanted to pick up my truck, car dolly, and blankets 2 weeks prior to my scheduled moving day. I chose a dealer just a few blocks away and my movers were to show up early (130 $per hour). I checked a few days earlier, NO PROBLEM. Just prior to pick, I received a call that my truck would be 5 miles miles away and that is just the way it is. I picked up the truck, first the dealer SAID IT HAD 3/4 tank of gas, when she pulled the truck around, OH YOU ONLY HAVE A 1/4 OF A TANK OF GAS SO YOU WILL NEED TO GET GAS. Movers are waiting. Where are my blankets? OH, I DO NOT HAVE ANY, YOU WILL NEED TO GET THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE. She called the dealer close to me and Uhaul comped them for me. Movers waiting at 130 $hour. Bad weather moved in by now and it was difficult to load up. This was a very expensive move thanks for nothing UHAUL.dennis J.

My original contract (86753159) was almost doubled because of an error by the Anglo clerk at the W. Villa Maria location, on Friday, Apr12. I contacted the corporate office, was assured by Loretta Tillman I would receive 50 $off my bill (ref #2179089). When I return on Saturday, Apr13, the Latina clerk (who was also behind the desk on Friday) said with a smug smirk, "You're the guy from yesterday." I asked why the smirk? She did not reply. She completed my rental order, I returned the cargo van on Saturday afternoon with the gas tank *completely full* (doing more than I needed to). I have followed up by email to Ms. Tillman about my discount with no reply, and no contact from the W. Villa Maria location. In sum, the cargo truck was fine but the customer service has been far below expectation and my initial contract was not upheld by the W. Villa Maria location.Jeff L.

That truck was a DISASTER! The alignment was completely off, the cab was dirty, the whole thing needed general maintenance, and the gas gauge was impossible to read at the level they want you to refill it.Jennifer L.
The experience was ok. But I did not receive the Dolly and the kart as I had requested. The service assistant forgot. I can understand you forget, but a call to apologize would have been great. I struggled a bit more to make the move possible, and paid an extra person to help. As far as price, it was competitive, same as other moving companies. The convenience was great. Pick up quick and drop off, leave key in box. I did not like that, I was give an location when booking, and after I completed the process, it gave me a different location.Junior E.

My drop off time was 8:30. When I arrived, noticed it said 9. Tried to clean up all the pup hair inside the cabin. It'd poured most of my 2 day move, so the dang hair STUCK. She comes out at 8:30 to say hi and to inquire I'd the correct location and after confirming, expected I'd say she hadda open cuz I was there (as she explained later). I merely stated, I see you don't open for a bit, any way I can get some rags to clean up the mess until you do. She goes and gets me things and says, uh, I was going to run to my daughter's school to bring her her forgotten lunch since we weren't open yet. Sure, of course, I'll be cleaning. She states, you really don't have to worry about that, I see you brought everything, you can just put the key in the box. Sweet as that was, have to be responsible. And she was just as wonderful upon her return..Beth A.
