trucks, vans trailers say 19,95 a "day". I was signed up for 6hrs. Brought the van back within 3hrs and charged 130 plus I put 25 of gas in it total cost to rent a van for less than 3hrs $155.00. More accurate advertising on the side of the vehicle would be "From 125 /H"philip N.

when someone reserves a truck with a 1 way trip, there's going to be complex logistics in that person's schedule for that day. Changing the reservation to a round trip, and changing times and dropoff locations sporadically really messes up a plan and makes things more costly. For the love of god, please, if you take the reservation, keep the reservation. If you cannot keep the reservation, don't take the reservation. My rental was changed from 1 way to round trip with 5 changes in pickup and dropoff locations. That's not acceptable.Larry B.
Scammers, they charged me for 8 ltr of gas even after returning them with tank full. I traveled like 12km according reading, is that means truck gives 1,2km mileage per liter?Paritosh D.

Lack of time management. The guy is full of attitude and he tried to run the business via phone and descourage ppl to rent. I have had many u haul agents respectfully and the mind their business and I can call them professional but this guy is something else and u need to think about it.Tatek E.

For some people especially older, you should not ask question on their cell phone unless you ask first. I personally give my email address and want questions there and not on my phone. Use and buy your products for all moves. MerciCatherine A.

The online pick up process is very slow. Seems like a dad to me to have to use my passport and then at the end to still have to go inside and speak to a human, show my license again, and wait to be handed the key. The gas gauge indicated full when I picked up the unit. I drove a total of 36 km. I filled the gas tank back to full and it cost $27 . That seems very excessive for a van. That part was suspect.gavin W.

Making sure before the leaving from the parking lot check the gas level because i filled the gas according the level but this location owner charge me extra without my knownPATHMASRI K.
I rented a 10ft cub van. When I picked it up I was told by the owner it had only 3/4s of a tank of gas. Walking out to the truck I just glanced at the rental sheet I was given. The small print indicating the gas gauge looked like it was marked 3/4 full. Due to an impending snow storm at my destination in Orangeville On. I was in a hurry to get there. On returning home I filled the tank to 3/4 and dropped the keys off as the owner was NOT there. Later that night I received the bill with an extra 24 for gas. When I drove back in the morning to rectify the discretion I was told I should have mentioned that there was really only 3/4s of a tank not the marking of slightly more than 3/4s when I picked it up. The owner of the franchise did NOT try to come to any compromise. He said he had pictures and I was WRONG. I will never go to this location again.glen K.
I have never had worst customer service experience in my life. The U haul representative Jackie tried so hard to steal money from me. I rented the truck out for the whole weekend (Friday-Sunday). On Saturday Jackie called me and told me that I was late in returning the truck. When I explained I had the truck until Sunday they started cursing and swearing at me saying I stole their truck, then started harassing me for more money, then they threatened me and said that â€œI will see you when you return the truckâ€ in a very threatening way. I had to call corporate three times to figure out what happened and explain to them what had happened. They reassured me that I was not late and I did indeed have the truck until Sunday. I returned the truck Saturday night because I didn't want to deal with this individual and then the next day Jackie charged me extra for going over the mileage limit. When I checked I had driven 70 miles less than the limit. I again had to call the corporate and they reversed all the extra charges this person created. This was clear retaliation on Jackie's part. This was the WORST customer service interaction I had ever experienced.Syed A.
The issue that i faced was not with the locations for pick up or drop off. The issue was a level of inconvenience and the poor customer service received over the phone. To be honest not poor customer service as much as a lack of understanding for the inconvenience faced.Leon B.
