The online process to pick up is garbage. It should be fast when picking up. Ask to do photos and license when making reservations. It shouldn't take 20 mins at the place going through steps and waiting for approval.

The U-haul location at Beltline in Coppell, TX, I went to did not have the requested dollies I needed for my moving, and the attendant/owner went above and beyond and loaned me his personal dolly... that was exceptional service! My billing also did not come out correctly, again the agent went above and beyond and made sure it was corrected immediately! I would certainly recommend this location to my friends and family.

Inside the truck bed it has a sign stating $25 credit if truck is returned swept clean and all blankets are folded. I did not rent any blankets but I did sweep out the back of the truck to make sure I received this credit. I never did - even when the attendant told me I would. I was charged full amount...NO CREDIT. I even took picture of the back of truck and the sign stating a credit for $25.

I drop off equipment on same day at 3:30pm and I called next day because I didn't receive drop off email and that guy name is Santosh I fill full gas I have used credit card and he charged me gas money also I have proof this is ridiculous service also this guy didn't give proper service he keeps watch video on phone

No complaints. Great service! The pre ordering online made everything go smooth and fast. Honestly I canxt believe how easy it all was. I love the texts and emails. Knowing I had all the contact info in my phone made less oaperwork. Live all the stickers on the truck! Was nice to be able to see truck height and width on truck in side view mirror!

Did not have the equipment we had selected to rent, after our location had already been changed by uhaul because the original location didn't have the equipment either. Waited 20+ minutes for the store employee to be able to help us, while he helped other customers in between (as it was a gas station).

The checkin process was useless because I had to complete again when i picked up the vehicle. The representative was abrupt and rude. She handed me the keys and said bye so i walked outside to the uhaul in the lot only to find out that my rental was not on the property but a block away. She eventually got someone to take me to it but a lot of confusion could have been avoided if she had communicated what was happening. It was a terrible experience.

Have truck at location upon arrival. Attendant had me wait until he could go to offsite location. And I had to wait at least 30 mins before getting key because there was a mix up with the dolly.

Despite the mask mandate in TX, employees have not been consistently wearing masks. One employee only put on his mask when I entered the store, and the other did not have a mask on hand at all. U-Haul needs to be more explicit with its description of their Truck Share 24/7; I chose this option to minimize contact with others. However, I had to enter the store to obtain the key (rather than retrieving it from a box). I documented that the van was dirty upon receipt but was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I had also requested a dolly, but this was not placed in my van. (They were prompt with removing this from my reservation to avoid charges, though.)

We had issues with the pricing and the staff were uninformed and could not help us much. We reached out to actual uhaul staff and they helped. Other than that, they were very helpful with our truck and trailer.

It was fraud. My trip was of total 14 miles, but that guys charged me for 24 miles. When i dropped the truck i asked him to come outside and check the mileage and gas. But he did not come out and said its ok, i will send you billing email. Next morning i received email with charge of extra 10 miles. Such a fraud. Have raised complaint # 2627511 to uhaul, lets see if that helps which i highly doubt as per the conversation with customer care as they go with truck history miles In and Out. I am 200% sure i covered only 14 miles. Seems that shop guy is using it for his personal use and charging those extra miles to customers. I had booked with uhaul many times but this was my worst experience. Thinking not to book uhaul in future.

Could not find my reservation. Had to wait over 1 hour. Then notified me saying my time was up to rerun the van even though they were an hour late with my reservation. Will not recommend or use again.

I arrived at the location at approximately 2:15pm, after reserving the truck via telephone. I was assured that the truck would be available by the representative that reserved the truck. Upon my arrival at the pickup location I was told that I would have to wait until 3:00 when the truck was returned. I informed the location that that the truck was reserved and I was told it was available. He insisted that I had to wait. I noticed that the truck was parked and not occupied. At approximately 2:30 I went into the location and asked why I would have to wait until 3:00pm if the truck was available. The representative stated that the truck was reserved for up until 3:00. Which made absolutely no sense at all. If the vehicle was returned and I filled the procedure to reserve I should be able to rent the truck. I was to that I had to wait until 3:00pm. I went back into the location at approximately 2:45pm and told them that I'm calling customer service to report them. I requested the store # ave they refused to give to me. As I spoke work someone from customer service the representative interrupted me and said he could rent the truck now. All of sudden when I'm on the phone with customer service, the truck becomes available. I was forced to sit and wait for an hour to rent a vehicle that was reserved and on-site at the location! The representatives at the Coppell location were unprofessional and provided poor customer service. Due to their negligence and lack of competence this caused me to be late for a very important business meeting which cost me money and overall tainted my first impression. Time is something wet can't get back. I did my due diligence to ensure this would be a smooth process. I've never had any issues like this with any other U-Haul location. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

Place more vans and trucks at this facility to include dedicated parking for customers vehicles who must leave them during durations of one day rentals. Consider making boxes and tape available to customer. At this particular property there is a smog inspection station that can be converted to accommodate extra space if the operator is willing to sell. One cashier at the gas station is the only available resource for renting the vehicles. Although he handled my rental quickly he had many other distractions with fuel and store customers as well. This should be addressed.

This location was supposed to put the appliance dolly into the back of the Uhaul, they didn't do it and I didn't see that until I had already left. But I was still charged anyways. Stupid. Won't rent from here again.

Please clean the vehicle, remove food smell and fix the gas gauge. All these items have been address with attendant. But mostly UHAUL make your mobile app user friendly by providing error message details, direct number for mobile technician to avoid customer transfer upon transfer, and hire more representative (the hold time was greater than 20 minutes for a representative).

Equipment rented was not clean. They pushed me to buy the insurance and when I declined they become very upset. I used the rental cargo van for 8 miles and filled up one gallon of gasoline and they still made a big deal about not refueling at their location. Very bad experience. I have used uhaul rental truck before but never had experience like this. I will not be renting from this location anymore.

i rent uhaul trucks on weekly basis.Made over 500 rentals in last 12 years.so far this one is the worst.it was a Chevron gas station and had only 1 atttendant who was serving propane ,gas for customers etc.he admitted that he is renting Uhaul first time in his life so he has to stay with his boss on the phone to follow the process.many steps he had to do twice ot three times since he had no experience.Renting took 2 hours!!when i returned in 3 hours there was no gas.all pumps were down.i love Uhaul i will rent again but mot from this location!!

Strange experience but worked out all right. The only difficulty was that our U-Haul was parked down the road from the rental facility (Chevron), so when we returned the U-Haul to the Chevron we had to walk a ways down a road with no sidewalk and cross the street to get back to the car. Rental got the job done, but that transmission has seen better days!

I was asked to drive a van over to another location to pick up the truck I had reserved, then drive back and drop the keys off. The vehicle had trash in it that didn't belong to me. The windshield was coated in bugs. The lock sold to me by the representative did not fit on the truck.

Worst customer experience, I had to go back taking the van again as the first time even after me showing her the mobile of check in she told it's all fine and then call me to tell.i haven't registered and I have to come back or else she will report it as stolen. Really? Stolen? She handed the key over and told me to go ahead as everything is fine. Ridiculous. I would use home Depot or budget rentals next time. And you guys have charged me for the extra 8 miles I had to come because of your fault. I want it to be reimbursed.worstttttttt

I was charged for an appliance dolly which I did not receive nor use. Also, they did not have the truck ready for me when I arrived. They wanted me to go pick up the truck myself. The truck was two blocks down behind a warehouse with no one there.

Note that it is operated out of a gas station. So the employee cannot fully give 100% attention. But it was good experience and I'd rent from there again.

I booked online and ordered moving pads/blankets. When I picked up the vehicle I was told they done have pads at their location. They website should not allow me to order them if I can actually get them. Upon return, they didn't approve the amount of gas in the truck, even though it was more that the 1/4 we started with. After we added sufficient gas, he still made us move the truck. (The location is a gas station. )
