Customer service was with Dell when I brought the truck back he was most helpful went above and beyond I was also dealing with the Richmond Virginia Regional area office which Rhonda is the area manager supervisor along with her incredible staff just to mention a few Beth Autumn Nicole Diamond Sha-Tera, they all really truly outstanding customer service outstanding professionalism courtesy knowledge I mean they're just I'm going to leave so many comments I just literally had the worst move in my life but you Haul is what made it so much better and I just really wanted to say thank you again!!

This was the most horrible experience! I reserved a 26 ft truck and when I arrived they said I had a 10 ft truck. We were there for over an hour trying to resolve the issue. I called the 1800 number and got two different stories from two different people. I would most certainly not recommend U-Haul to anyone I know.

Pickup truck rented was a GMC, with only 8K miles, efficient v8, 15 mpg. Price was great. Cab could have been cleaner, but it was OK as provided. EXCELLENT customer service. Recommended for local use.

The location did not have any signage for Nile Petroleum. But, I found it & all went well in the pick up. However, I originally reserved the trailer on line from Scott's Addition at The Diamond which was closer to where I was going. I did not find out until the morning of the pick up date that they did not have one at this location. I was at least called & advised in advance & was provided with the info as to where to get one & I also had reserved online over the weekend with Monday being Presidents day. I am just a little irritated that reserving online doesn't know that the location has in stock or not. That is really stupid & caused me a little bit of re-planning of my trip & also having to go out of my way. My tow vehicle only gets 10 MPG & was an added cost to me in time & gas to have to run an additional half hour out of the way. I guess I would have been picking up from the other location anyway if the online booking would have known. But, it would have been a little less hectic for me not finding out at the last minute.

I have used U-Haul many times, and I've never had a problem, but this time I was lied to and conned! I told the guy I would not need over 60 miles for my trip. I saw him type 60 miles on the computer, but then he changed the mileage to 130 miles, but he messed up the odometer reading ( I think intentionally), and I got charged and extra $67.00! And my trip was on 45!

Single proprietor was constantly interrupted by gas station business. Seemed only marginally familiar with the software. Could no find the scheduled drop off location in the system. Further frustrated by the absurd pricing scheme that forced me to drive to Central Virginia and incur excess mileage because the price to rent in Maryland was $1200 greater.

I was advised to have a 1/2 tank of gas in the vehicle, which I made sure it did. I have an additional charge of over $86 to my credit card. I dropped the vehicle off at the location above and it had a 1/2 tank per my contract. I'm very disappointed and will not be using U-Haul again

Due to severe weather conditions halting our moving progress, we had to keep the truck an additional day (there was significant flooding in the area, as well as high wind gusts that would have made driving the truck dangerous. Additionally, a tornado touched down 15 minutes outside our destination, and we held back to avoid disaster.) I made over 15 attempts to contact the location to let them know our situation. Nobody ever answered and there was no voicemail set up for me to even leave a message. Additionally, I made over 6 attempts to contact U-Haul directly about the situation, and was placed on hold for up to 15 minutes each time before being forced to hang up. I wound up having to call the location I picked up the truck from, and the only thing they could tell me to do was keep trying. Due to the severe weather not letting up, we were forced to unload the truck in dangerous thunderstorms in an attempt to get it back to the drop off location before being charged a THIRD day's rate. We were unsuccessful, and now what should have only been a $200 moving cost has turned into a $400 expense that we were not prepared for, nor could we afford. There was absolutely NO assistance from either U-Haul or the vendor, and in the many years I have relied on U-Haul to move my family, I have never been so grossly disappointed. I'm certain that the company and the vendor both enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend, while we moved what we could out of the house we lost and into a friend's basement so we could try to rebuild our lives. Taking over a $270 blow to what little finances we had certainly added to our troubles. And, to add to the irony, I'm going to have to rely on U-Haul once more this Thursday to get what's left in our old house out and into storage. Thanks, U-Haul and Nile Petroleum, LLC... Next time, I'll find friends with pick-ups...

The representative at this location was very busy with gas station customers and I had to wait for a long time to complete the transaction. During the trip down the check engine light came on but the truck did not break down.
