When I rented the vehicle I said upfront we may go a bit over the stated mileage. The guy where I rented it said " no problem that is just an estimate". Well, when I turned the vehicle in A FULL DAY EARLY I was charged $95 for going over the "estimated" mileage by only 86 miles! I would like to see that refunded please.Philip S.

Owner was closed (at 1:45pm on a Saturday) and gate locked so I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with Uhaul customer service to determine how to drop trailer off at this location. I was almost 2 hours early for returning equipment.Keith D.

I had a reservation to pick up a trailer in Oxford, MS, then a few days before my pick-up I was given a different location about 30 miles from Oxford. The day before my scheduled pick up I called the new location only to find out that they did not have any equipment to rent. The corp Uhaul rep told me to call a different location as they showed that they had equipment to rent and thankfully they did - Very stressful event having call around to find my own trailer.Harlin B.

Nothing for U-Haul to improve upon. I just would like to say I greatly appreciate it the customer service that I received from Debbie at this U-Haul location. She even took time out to call me and check on me since I was travelling almost 900 miles from Mississippi back to Virginia. It's professional, caring, and friendly customer service like that that made me go back to the folks in my neighbourhood in Mississippi and tell them if they ever need moving services to go to Debbie down in water Valley Mississippi.Cynthia B.

Your 1-800-go uhaul number leaves a lot to be desired. I had two separate uhaul rental contracts within a week of each other, and there was cause with both contracts for me to call uhaul for further clarification both before the pickup date and when dropping off the equipment. I would go so far as to say that those in the upper echelon of the uhaul corporation have little or no experience of calling their own 1800 go uhaul number for assistance. As an exercise, I highly recommend that those in charge do so, in order that the system can be improved. On at least four separate occasions when awaiting a â€˜call back' due to the waiting time being in excess of 50 (fifty) minutes, the automated call back disconnected the call before I had a chance to speak with an agent, resulting in another 50+ minute wait. Across the two rentals, approximately 4 (four) hours of my time was wasted trying to get in touch with Your company about Your equipment. This is unacceptable, and I was not compensated for my time. I fully understand that your corporation is a busy one, and at peak times, it will involve a wait, but some of my delay was not during peak times, and this could be remedied by having more agents available to assist customers. I voiced my frustration with the pickup location manager for my second contract and asked if they, as a uhaul dealer location, had a special number that they could phone and get through quicker, and they said, â€œno, we have to use the same 1-800 number that you use, and it can be very frustrating, and sometimes the uhaul staff on the other end of the call are impolite and/or unhelpfulâ€. I have other issues specific to my first contract that I would be happy to discuss, if a uhaul customer service manager would like to learn more about how they might make small changes to improve the uhaul customer experience. When we went to pick up our trailer they did not have it and we were told we had to drive approx. 30 minutes to pick it up at a different location. We were under tight schedule restraints and this was not acceptable. What's the use of making a reservation?RONALD S.
I had ask for a pick up in Oxford, not Water Valley.... The person in the build was not that inviting. I also paid for the truck online and when I arrived to the store the person informed me that I had to pay and additional $58 for insurance which I believed I had paid online. If I had to rent another truck it would not be from her and U-Haul again. The truck had cigarettes' ash on the floor board. After yesterday move I am closing my account and if needed in the future I will look for another carrier...Hugo J.

The truck had issues with the tire sensor and gave false readings of an issue with the tires. These false reading caused many stops on the journey to check the tires to determine that all was OK.HAROLD W.

The store has an awful smell. The first transport was connected however the belt was not attached. We had to unhook and change equipment. Why was this equipment in service??? The second transport was connected. The person assisting with the transport hook up should be familiar with attaching the belt to the tires if they are serving as a vendor for UHaul. They represent your company which means they should have training classes on how to do a complete trailer hookup. The belt that was attached by the vendor to My car tires were completely undone when I arrived at my location in Hattiesburg, MS. I was distraught at the thought that I could've died or caused a horrific accident! My car is brand new and the rubber fender was torn on both sides however luckily it is what saved the car from dislodging from the trailer!! I am completely dissatisfied with UHaul. I have used you all before but this whole experience was a upsetting. When I picked up my 20ft truck, they didn't have the dollies that I ordered stating they haven't had them in 6 months. Why does the website allow me to order them only to find out on the day of pick up that the item is not available. I have very heavy furniture. Completely dissatisfied and My brand new car needs to be repaired. I have only had it for 30 days. How do I file a claim with your company for repair? 228-239-1108FALENA B.
