This is not a knock on the location but the fact that I had to go that far to get a trailer when there are MANY locations much closer. I think U Haul should try harder to have trailers closer to people that are congested and have numerous outlets

I got a call from a Latisha early on Thursday morning advising me that there was no equipment for my reservation available within a 50 mile radius and that I was SOL regarding my moving plans. I spent the entire Thursday morning calling different uhauls as well as different trucking companies to find an alternative. Eventually, I got a hold of an Ethrin who was able to straighten me out with this pick up spot. Latisha promised me a reduced fare as well as a $50 credit check for the inconvenience, but I have not received this yet. The vehicle could have been cleaned much better but we cleaned it upon receiving and upon drop-off. We returned it better than how we received it which is my own personal standard. Nonetheless, it suited the need so no real complaints here.

The management and staff outside of the office went above and beyond to help get the trailer connected and even allowed us to borrow a smaller hitch ball because we had the standard 2.5" ball which did not work with the Uhaul trailer. They were very courteous and beyond helpful, going the extra mile to get us on the road safely.

This location was not the problem, the fact that my pickup/drop off location was rerouted 25 miles away was a major inconvenience. A better online system needs to be in place. If equipment is not available, I should not be able to set it up at a “Preferred Location”. A call 20 minutes before my pickup time is not sufficient. People have schedules to maintain and this being a larger company, the customer should be able to expect efficiency. I will never use U-Haul again and will absolutely be informing friends and family to steer clear of U-Haul as well. Overall I had to drive over an hour out of my way. My rental should have only been an hour between pickup and drop off, because of the lack of an efficient system, my rental was 4 hours. Unacceptable as i got charged for the additional mileage it took to do what I needed. Somehow the U-Haul rep on the phone had the bright idea of splitting my equipment into two locations which I would've had to pickup and drop off at two separate locations. How would that have “HELPED” me? Pathetic company and system.

The mileage was incorrect when I picked the truck up and even after speaking to someone on the phone and submitting picture proof I was still charged $160 in overage mileage charges. Someone was supposed to contact me within 48 hours to resolve the overage issue but instead I was just charged $160 for miles I didn't go over with no contact from uhaul support.

Very poor service. Uhaul was not ready and had to leave an hour and a half late and with a smaller uhaul. Called and was promised we would get a $50 refund for the inconvenience and our lyfts paid for and then uhaul put in the system that it was our fault. We then called back and for all of the inconvenience we only got the $50 off after much debate.

The website that U-Haul recommends for help with moving (movinghelp.com) is horrible. Book 2 different companies to assist with my move. Neither showed up. First one texted 2 hours before and said not coming. 2 nd one texted 3 hours late and said weren't coming.

The only thing was that they only gave me 11 blankets. I never opened them and when I went to go drop it off they opened the bags and there was only 11 and they wanted to. Harvest me for one.

Customer service was great, aside from masks! Nose out, chin straps, inside out, or not at all. Insane considering the pandemic. Only two customers allowed in at a time, but a plethora of employees unmasked or haphazardly masked is defeating the purpose.

The employees overall are good but I was disappointed by the fact that my U-Haul rental wasn't “returned to stock” appropriately after I dropped it off. I brought the trailer back within a few hours of receiving it even though it was a 24 hour rental and I received a call today stating that I was overdue for returning the trailer. The trailer has been sitting in their lot for the past 24 hours and they seem to have never marked it as received. They then called me and put me on hold for 15 minutes before stating that they'll get back to me. It's been 5 hours and I still haven't received a call back.

You can clean inside of vehicle...it was filthy inside. Also I recommend not renting vehicles with cracked up, taped and x'd up side view mirrors as it was truly distracting. Had time permitted I would've asked for a different vehicle. In my opinion, I should be reimbursed for the protection plan for the terrible service.
