Well, although service was top notch, I refilled the gas meter to approximately the exact (just under 1/2 tank). However I was still charged for 1,5 gallons gas costing $9 extra. I do not agree with that incurred cost.

Fredy P.I reserved a trailer in Alexandria VA. drove there from Pa to find out they didn,t have any. was sent to ft washington md for one. They have 3 on the lot. They hooked up the trailer, then found out there was a burn out turn signal. the other 2 trailers was for local only. So they told me to take the faulty Tailer or get a local and bring it back the next day. I wasn't going to drive it back 100 miles. so I took the broken trailer. I am not at all pleased.

Sterling P.Reggie from Oxon Hill was amazing! Uhaul really screwed up by switching my 10' truck teservation in Waldorf MD to a 15' truck in Oxon Hill MD at 2:55pm on the day of pickup. However, they did not make sure Oxon Hill had the reservation information before close & I had to wait 2 hours for a truck. THANK GOD, Reggie was so kind to come back in on a Friday after hours to get my truck for me. He is the only reason I had a good experience at all.

Breanna V.I had to drive 45 mins to pick up my uhaul in the snow bc you switched my location last minute. You should be driving trucks to the location people need them. I got to the new location and the staff was rude and the they didn't have the furniture pads I requested so I had to go to another uhaul location. It's ridiculous. I want to be reimbursed for that. I also had to pay to have someone put my car on the dolly. I was not told that ahead of time. I will never use uhaul again. You made my move more stressful when you're supposed to make it easier.

When I got to the location, I was told the person who made the reservation had to be there so I felt I had to change the reservation to my name and pay for it. Although the proper credentials were presented, when the contract was presented for my signature, someone else's name was on there. It made me very cautious about the way business was being done. I was working with the manager of the location. We finally got things worked out; yet I was uncomfortable with the information given to me.
MICHELE S.The truck was absolutely filthy they said they would rinse it out but all they did was took air hose and blew the chunks of dirt out the mats were a muddy I had to drive 700 and some miles in a filthy truck
DONNA B.My reservation was changed with out my approval to another location who had more than enough time to make sure my rental was ready. Instead I was set back 3 hours for my one way trip because the key was not left in the box. This caused me much more issues being stuck in traffic and other things. After making my reservation a by the name of Faith texted me and asked if I wanted to tow a UBox for a discount and when I told her no because I didn't want to be responsible for damage in case of an accident my reservation some how changed without my consent.
Maxine R.Pick-up and return went very well. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The truck was generally clean, but showed a tire sensor error. The sensor error was pointed out by the staff and we were assured tire pressure was OK. We experienced no problems with the truck. I would do business here again.

ANDREW L.The young lady who helped me was very kind and provided excellent customer service, however it seemed like she was the only person working although their were multiple employees at the front desk. None of the other employees helped me/ her or greeted me, they were just sitting playing on their phones. The gentleman who brought the vehicle out for me didn't even speak to me. He got out of the vehicle and just walked off. Please try to be more communicative with your customers.

KENNETH E.I was not given any instructions, the sun visor was missing on the driver's side, the light was on indicating low air in tires, the truck made a screeching noise the entire time making me feel unsafe on the highway I took. I would not use their vehicles again.

CARMELLA J.Everything worked well, except for the fact that I had reserved a utility dolly online and it ended up not being available at the location. I understand that neighborhood dealers are limited in their U-Haul supplies so I had called about availability the day before, but I guess the situation changed by the time I got to the location. It was a bit inconvenient to have to get a dolly from somewhere else in the limited time that I had, but it wasn't a dealbreaker for me.

LENORAH H.The truck I rented was dirty (not cleaned). Nobody washed the truck from the previous rental. However the truck was a newer truck and it drove very well. Also The stating milage was incorrect , I took a picture of the correct milage and shared it with my check out person. I was still charged more miles than I drove.
PHILLIP H.I was sent a text at 7am stating my UHaul was ready for pickup at 6am and I would be doing it via the App. At 10pm that night I got another text changing my pickup time to 8am. Could do anything about this as the location had already closed. When I arrived iad to wait 30mins in line to get the U-Haul as they had also switched my pickup to the in person pickup...not very COVID safe. They all stated that all of my information I had entered in like my license had not transferred to their system so we had to start from scratch basically. Once that was done I was also told they had just sold out of the furniture dolly I had requested. Once I go the truck home finally I also found tons of leafs, dirt, and garbage in the back I had to clean out. I called U-Haul customer support and all they said they could give me is a $50 refund which is nice if I didn't have to spend an extra $300 on movers that were originally suppose to arrive at 7am. Will never use or recommend U-Haul at this location.
KYLEJOSEPH S.I rented the truck for 24 hours and when I got the contract it stated to return the truck for 11pm that same day. That is false advertisements. It was supposed to be for 24 hours as advertised and what i requested.
