The rental process is a bit unwieldy with having take pictures of your license, then any scuffs or damage to the vehicle, as well as dashboard for fuel level and mileage. Perhaps this is COVID related but it puts a bit too much on the renter.

The only problem encountered was the U-Haul computer access. Their internet services was out in the area. They solved the problem by contacting other dealers until they found one whose service was up. Should have a paper backup system for when the internet goes down. Which seems to be happening more and more based on personal experience.

It was not made known to me ahead of time that this location only does pick-up and drop-off within their business hours. I had made a reservation for 24/7 pick-up and drop-off. My rental time was also changed from a 48 hr rental to 24 hr one. Overall, a frustrating experience.

I dropped off the trailer in an off hours time, the parking lot for this establishment is not conducive to backing a trailer up. They have ample room behind their gate but not when the establishment isn't open.

The equipment and location (Parker, CO) were of good to great. The mobile app for checkout and checkin was crap. It took me longer to use the app than it would have to check out/in manually. I won't use the app again.

The rental truck and human interaction when picking up my rental were good. The Uhaul 24/7 app check-out/return process was horrendous. The silly app requires your phone to have location settings turned on…which I did..but it could not locate my location. Thank God someone was working at the rental office when I picked up the vehicle otherwise I'd never been able to get my rental and would have put me in a very bad situation. The rental truck performed perfectly and I had no issues. Now…the worst part. When I returned the vehicle I tried using the 24/7 app and again..it could not locate my truck. If I returned it later than the contracted time, I'd have to pay more for the rental. I called uhaul customer support to have them manually check me in…but I literally sat on hold for 1,5 hours!!! They kept trying to force me to use their on-line chat service. Thank God I wasn't sitting on the side of the road broken down trying to get help…! This is unacceptable!! I finally was able to get in touch with Customer Service and they manually checked in my vehicle…but I had to call the place where I rented it from on Monday when they were open to have them officially check in my vehicle so I didn't get charged more for the rental. On a scale of 1-10…10 being the best, I'd rate my check-out/return experience a negative 10. If you plan to rent from uhaul…make sure you check-out/return using a human…DO NOT use their 24/7 app.

I reserved a tuck nearest my home. The website said they had the truck and it was "guaranteed". Ten minutes later I receive a call stating I have to go to a further location out of my way. I asked if the new location was open at the time I reserved I was told yes. When I arrived the new location wasn't open for a full hour past my reservation. After calling the uhaul number I had to go so many extra steps it cut into my time and made me very late. After completing all the online steps trying to get the key out of the lock box was another hassle. The lock was old and was difficult to operate to get the key. Overall from the supposed "guarantee" to the misinformation about the new location to the bad lock and the bad customer service when I dropped off the truck you can safely assume I'll be taking my moving needs to a different truck company next time.

I ordered online a trailer and 12 furniture blankets. They were not very friendly on pickup. didn't check if they gave us the blankets. We ended up to our destination without them. Had to drive to an other location to get the blankets ….wasted lots of time on a busy moving day. Make sure to check you have everything you ordered before leaving.

I never received my key code to get the keys. Waited an hour trying to get a customer rep on the phone since the business I was picking up from was closed. On the app, it made me pay then it directly to me to the return process. It was a huge Inconvenience but i had a good experience after I got the truck

Very small business guy was very direct in wanting me to do things that I felt should of been the responsibility of the rental company. Trailer was not packed with requested blankets and dollys, I had to connect and go drive to a dock and load them myself. Same when we checked out I the customer had to unload and lift them up onto a loading dock. All other rental locations I have used the equipment was ready for me to connect and go and when I dropped off just left everything in the equipment I rented. He requested that I fold the blankets when returning which should not be my responsibility but his as the company.

Return instructions were difficult, we had no idea what to do. So we just put it back where we got it and put the keys in the box. I would recommend better return instructions.

U haul was given dirty with dirt all over. Picture was attached when u haul was picked up. They also charged me an extra 50$ more than the receipt I was given via email. They charged my account extra for gas that was left at how I got it, please contact me via email or phone as the charge DOES NOT match the receipt I was given. I will call my bank to dispute the charge if I am not contacted and this resolved.

My pickup time was scheduled for 10 am. I was in line at location for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Only one person taking care of customer s. Online checking didn't save anytime. Staggered pickups should be mandatory. It took over 15 minutes per customer.

The cab had mud and straw on the floor, which seems consistent with a truck rented from a feed store. Here is the review I posted on Google. The first thing you hear when you walk in is "are you here for U-Haul?" because they can tell right away that you don't look like a horse person. Then it goes down hill from there. The clerk informed me that they didn't have a truck for my 3pm reservation and told me I should just stand there and wait for it because whoever had it last promised they'd have it back by 3 (but didn't). They later told me that the truck arrived just after 3, which I'm inclined to doubt because I didn't have access to the truck until much later. U-Haul offers a $50 reservation guarantee if there is no truck at the time of your reservation, and the clerk refused to make good on that guarantee but told me that I was "very rude" for even mentioning it. From the very beginning of the interaction when she told me she didn't have a truck "yet", her attitude was as if *I* was inconveniencing *her* because she didn't have a truck. At the end of the rental transaction, she informed me that she would be there at 7 when the truck was due back (even though they close at 4) and that because I was so rude if I was one minute late she would charge me. Which is absurd because my four hour reservation didn't actually start until long after 3, thanks to the lack of a truck. She also marked the fuel level as 100 % full even though it was between 3/4 and 7/8, but I wasn't interested in going back into the store to endure more abuse. I won't be returning to this store under any circumstances... even if some day I decide to be a horse person.

In the end, everything worked ... But very frustrating to get to rental day. Reserved a truck at desired location via the app. Added pads, dollyies that I needed to move. The day before picking up the truck, got a call that my pick-up point had been moved 20 miles away. It's an in town move and I'm paying by the mile. Not too happy the pick-up point was moved. I called UHaul customer service and they were able to move the reservation back to the original pick-up point, no problem. They were not sure why it had been moved. On the day of move, I got a call from the pick-up point ... the truck was ready, but no pads or dollies were available ... "sorry". What good is a 26' truck to move my house if I can't get items into it ... or protect them once inside? Again, a call to U-Haul customer service. They were able to move me to another location ... 1/2 mile away, that had the truck, the pads and the dollies. Once that frustration was done, everything worked as planned.

The store opened late. The advertisement was 19,95 with 0,69$ a mile. I traveled less than 15 miles and charged $52.

UHaul changed my pickup location, but failed to inform me that the new location opened at 10 a.m., while my pickup time was to be 9:00. I was not the only customer who showed up at 9:00 and had to wait over an hour. The people at the location were professional, it not prepared for the overwhelming number of customers.

The uhaul was messed up, the floor had a lot of warping and bowed in the middle making it hard to move items and evenly stack them also in the corner a big piece of metal that eas supposed to be welded down was bent upwards. I'm sure this was not the locations fault, but it would have been nice to be informed that the blankets needed to be returned folded and everything or I would be charged. Won't ever be using uhaul again that's a certain

If you have a reservation make sure my shit is ready to pick up and the app is maintained and Working. I'll do everything in my power to never use u haul again and would like the 50 dollars credited back to me for not having my reservation ready at 830 like I scheduled, I didnt get my truck till 11 am while I was paying movers to stand around and do nothing while I waited for two and a half hours
