No signage indicating hours or prompting us to just use the app to do the return. No one there. No great location to leave the truck.

I always had great experience with U-Haul at other locations but this location was an exception. The guy responsible for this location was not in the office at the time of pickup (at 12 noon) and had placed a sticker "Sorry out" on the door. It seems he lives behind his office so I was able to see him and ask about my reservation. He wasn't aware/didn't remember that I had a reservation. I reminded him then he unlocked the office and let me in and gave me the keys for the U-Haul truck. I would acknowledge though, the U-Haul truck was fairly new and in good condition and drove really well.

Trash laying around, lights were out and gates were working on and off. Biggest complaint is I would go by on a Saturday and gates would be up and many people on foot at a garage sale. Was told it wouldn't happen again, lie, but it happened every Saturday.

The drop off started rough, as the reservation I made for a storage unit and the truck information wasn't transmitted to the location, but the owner was incredible and helped us get it all worked out. I even needed another unit, and he found one on the same aisle, which was incredibly helpful. He explained everything thoroughly, and answered every question I had. I would absolutely recommend this location, and will rent from him any time I need a truck in Lawrence.

The owner provides excellent customer service. Confirm he will be open at pickup. I will use this location again. Again, they provide very personalized service.

Pete was so helpful in finding us the storage we needed. I mistakenly booked too small and he quickly cleaned out a larger unit to fit our needs. Super friendly and eager to help.

Left the U-Haul there at 12:30 a.m. - found a box that said "checks only" but put keys in it as wasn't any other drop box at the location. Began calling at 9 the next morning to be sure they got the keys but no answer so left a message - called back again at 10:45 & no answer - finally got a call back around 1 p.m. saying they got the keys & were doing paperwork. Was concerned after leaving keys in lockbox & noticing on the way out that there was only one U-Haul on the premises & it looked more like something that was being used to advertise so got worried that we left it at the wrong location. They need a nighttime lockbox marked with U-Haul or something designating it is for U-Haul customers rather than just for storage facility rent checks.

The unit I initially wanted wasn`t big enough. The next larger isn`t available. Very clean and safe facility. Would absolutely recommend.

There was no one in the office until 1/2 hour after my 10am reservation time. I was told I could keep the van as long as I liked, but when I returned, people were waiting to rent that same van. Once again, no one in the office to return van or to help waiting group. Other than being late, he was polite and quick to fill out paperwork.

The manager, Pete, was very helpful on our Van Rental and Storage unit. Very professional.

A little pricey. The $20 van rental turned into $80 quickly with mileage charges and huge tax fees. With that said, great customer service!

The gentleman at the desk showed up 20 minutes late. That was a little frustrating. Otherwise, he was kind and easy going. He was very helpful in showing me how the truck worked.

I called a number out of an old phone book, however someone did answer and took my reservation. When I confirmed the address she said yes that is correct. It was not! Had to go to the other side of town to pick up the trailer. How would that happen?

I prefer the Uhaul at 6th and Kasold, where there are always people there when the business is supposed to be open. This was not a good choice, and I am appalled at how this business runs its operations when it is not open during posted business hours and phone calls are not returned at a decent time.
