Do they were not a place I would recommend anyone the truck was dirty not clean and I fill the gas back we're it was when I left it they give my a key when I pick up did not help me at 77 at the other end of the park lot and I wash it at a car wash before I bought it back and put gas where it was when I pickup and when I drop the key off they didn't go out there and look at it they told me to mark on the paper where the gas hand was and write down the mileage I will never go back there again how an 77 year old lady was treated

Vehicles should be clean, swept and or vacuumed, including the cab. I requested a 15' truck. and didn't realize it was a 26' truck until I was in an accident.

I paid for a dolly that was not in the vehicle. I opted for the pay out of pocket coverage on the vehicle, and yet was charged $14 for the safe trip plan anyway.

The lady who helped was great, knowledgeable and helpful. I came back to make a change and the guy changed the location for pickup and didn't seem to understand the process. But he finally just told me to come by when I wanted it and pick it up. The representative from U Haul was great. All in all it worked out very well but I was a bit concerned for awhile.

I'm an older person, and the two times we've dropped trailers off here, they offer no help or assistance to unhook the trailer. The location is a liquor store.

This review is not against Uhaul but rather against Paul's. Picking up the 4x8 trailer was a pleasant experience, with a very nice gentleman helping to hook up the trailer, as I am a 65 year old single woman with no help. The problem was upon returning when Paul, the owner, gave me a receipt & said I could go. I said I needed help unhooking the trailer and he said "I can't"! I said again that I was unable to turn the mechanism so I could lift the trailer off the hitch, thinking he had misunderstood but he said again, "I can't; you'll have to call somebody to come help you; It's not my responsibility"! He was not at all pleasant in the way he flat out refused to help; in fact he was downright rude & totally disrespectful. I don't remember ever being treated like that. Not only does it reflect on the Uhaul company but on the city of Guntersville as well. It was not as though he could not leave the register because there was an employee working. I then told him I have no one to call for help so he disgustedly went into another room to get someone to help, ridiculing me the whole time. It was mortifying, to say the least. A really nice man volunteered to come help. I have moved several times & have always used Uhaul with pleasant experiences but this time was an exception, I'm sorry to say.

I was called 30mins before my scheduled pick up to be made aware that my truck had not been returned and I had to drive 40 miles out of my way to get one. Not happy at all.

Received a call from corporate 4 days after equipment returned insisting that I return appliance dolly immediately. I called corporate then it was decided that I did not return auto dolly, which I never rented. This company needs some serious organization and lessons on customer service.

Wonderful experience renting from U-Haul. The local service manager noticed there was an error on my reservation, and was able to redo it in order to save me a ton of money. The equipment was in great shape and very clean. I appreciate the moving blankets that were included in the truck.

I arrived at this location to drop off the truck. I tried to explain to the owner about the 64 extra miles we had to drive to pick up the truck round trip because it was the closest place. Our locals did not have a truck we needed. I returned the vehicle with 1/2 tank instead of full to compensate those extra miles. He advised me I had to return it with full or he would charge me 70 dollars. I took the truck and returned it full and he said was there somebody that was selling gas for $1.99 a gallon? I said no sir but your truck is full. He asked where did you go to get gas? I said across the street. He rudely said you can go home as he snatched the key and walked off. NO! I was not filling the truck at his station when he didn’t want to listen or care about the extra miles, gas, or my time to drive an hour and half round trip to pick the truck up. This is the 2nd time I have been treated this way at this location.

All your trailers need to be equipped with a trailer jack. The 6x12 is almost impossible to lift to hitch alone.

Vehicle was dirty when picked up. Still had Dolly’s and stuff inside the truck. Truck ran horrible, probably needs maintenance and front end work before it kills someone. Worst experience ever with a rental. But the people were great!

Don't rob them.... The past 3 times i have rentee from u-haul the invoice was 3 to 5x more than quoted. My child had to have an ambulance called and went to hospital. From. Storage and i was forced to hire movers to unload trucks. Our home in alabama molded amd we both have been ill.. I have just checked my invoices and will never use u-haul again. Your word means nothing and i plan to alert my 3k social media friends this isnt right to steal. From a disabled single mother that had to leave a storage room. To be with her daughter and find all these charges that are insane

U-Haul had changed the location for our rental, but it was 15 miles further away and would have been an inconvenience and more expensive. The team at Paul's arranged for me to use a larger truck at the same cost as the smaller and were extremely helpful.

I wish I could've dropped off at the Uhaul location closer to my final destination. This location required an extra 20-30 minutes round trip. But the service was good and it was nice having a gas station attached.

This person was a convenience store owner which should tell you that it was not American owned. And surprise, surprise, the guy running it clearly had a chip on his shoulder for if not Americans, middle-aged white men. He had an instant attitude from the first second I walked in the door. I tried creating small talk with him while he was on the computer and he wouldn't even make eye contact with me. I complimented U-Haul on the truck because the truck itself was very nice. Once again, this idiot would not acknowledge my comments, and wouldn't even look me in the eye. I'm telling you, I wanted to strangle this stupid shit on the spot, but I maintain composure. I could go on about the Despicable treatment of this asshole but it would only get more vulgar and I just don't want to go there. Never, ever, ever, ever comma use pause for your U-Haul needs if you insist on using U-Haul at all. Remember, Pauls 3895 AL Highway 69 Guntersville Alabama 35976 This is a Despicable human being and has no business serving the public in any way shape or form. Oh yeah, I don't want to forget to mention the fact that this idiot also sold gas and was Bess purate to put two gallons of gas in this truck despite the fact that I brought it back exactly as it was pick up. His gas was priced at $2.27 per gallon when all of the competitors near him was at $2.06 per gallon. He had to be told by the U-Haul organization themselves, do not charge me for two lousy gallons of gas. Going on will only bring back Visions in my mind that I don't need so I will end it here. Screw U-Haul !

Clerk apparently forgot to tell the boss that we turned the truck in but we called U-Haul corporate and they got in contact with them and it was done immediately. Clerk was running the register at this convenient store and probably just forgot. Might need to have a procedure in place at this location that prevents this from happening in the future. When we tried to call the convenient store, the number provided was a fax machine, so we were unable to take care of this problem ourselves and had to get U-haul involved.
