Disorganized. 2 trucks were present one had syringes and garbage in it and the other Had attached equipment a (tow trailer). It was difficult to find someone to assist me in removing it.

They didn't complete my reservation, then they tried to charge me double for services not render ,then got a very nasty call from the staff. I am filing a formal complaint

The most disgusting experience in my life the truck had a bag of shit in it who leaves that in a vehicle and what company does not checks the vehicle when returned and no one cleans anything and charged full price no one help me with anything just disgusting

No where to park. Not enough room to hold Uhauls. No one really helped.

Not much improvement needed! Customer service was Excellent! Fees and other important information given up front so no painful surprises at the end. Highly recommend this location

Parking the vehicle was quite difficult, it is located on a busy street and the space is very very narrow

I got charged $25 for insurance when I have my own insurance full coverage at that. I received the run around when they told me what to do

This was the most pleasant, helpful, courteous, compassion forward experience I have ever had using Uhaul services, and it actually started off rather stressful just trying to find a location for a trailer.

Provide the moving supplies I paid for. Provide parking that isn't packed like sardines and impossible for someone who doesn't drive a big car to park in.

They should walk the customer to the van/truck and inspect the van/truck with the customer before the van/truck depart the facility. Thank you. Nice place.

The van was extremely dirty inside with mold growing on the passenger side door. The interior smelled awful. I wish I noticed all the mold before I left with the compound.

The verification process was terrible. Asking for an alt number that's different from the alt number on my account and then asking for a 3rd… basically cold calling friends and family on the spot, not a great system at all.

The smartphone registration and return went well but I did need assistance with the pick up process, luckily for me the technician was patient and professional and made it happen for me.

Both the pickup and drop off had issues. First we were issued the wrong truck and weren't given any of the equipment because of it. Then the second location upon delivering the truck one of the employees was extremely rude and had an attitude because we didn't hear him when he was directing us where to go. The experience with that generalmente was the worst of the entire thing. He was on his phone listening to music when apparently he was trying to tell us to park behind the truck he was "working on." Me and my father didn't notice he was speaking to us and went inside to see if we returned the vehicle there. When we returned back to the truck as per the instructions of the employees inside (which were far nicer then the guy outside), I asked the employee if he wanted us to leave the truck where we had it or move it over. He cut me off and said that he had told us where to put it but we just ignored him. I apologized and said "sorry we didn't hear you" to which he said "How!?!?" With an attitude. This all happened at the Bensonhurst location where there is a train station right next to us with passing trains; not to mention the employee was sitting casually in the drivers seat of a van blasting music. I told him he didn't have to be a dick about because we genuinely didn't hear him. The lack of professional from this employee and the debacle of the first location will have me never using U-Haul for any future business.

The truck I was picking up was located 2 blocks away on a side street in muddy alley. The employee was reluctant to help me, gave me poor directions for how to find the truck. I had to drive there, look for it, then drive back and literally have him come into my car to show me where the truck was. After we found the truck, we drove back to the mechanic so he could give me the keys, and I had to drive back to the truck again. I never through picking up a truck could take 45 minutes, but at this location, it does.

I booked an online location for pick up in Bayonne. Something was wrong in the system because there is no pick up location in the area and I was hoping to get my truck at 6:00 and conveniently in the area where I live, but i ended up paying for n uber servive to pick up the truck in staten island and return to staten island, it was stressful. Customer representative Brie was able to help me set up the change, in pick up location. But I wish I didnt have to go through all of the stress and tiredness of returning the van in staten island location.

Employees did not know how to do check in-100 % on the customer to figure it out. Called for help, first U Haul representative told me I needed to download an app and put me on the phone with another rep who told me I could just go onto the U Haul website. Was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to check in.

I was charged for furniture pads, I did not rent any. I was charged for a utility dolly, I pad the $5 in cash because my contract had already been printed out. That's a $10 overcharge. Also I shouldn't be responsible for the check in fee, I couldn't connect to the link from the location

My experience with UHAUL was not with the location itself, but with UHAUL as a company. I placed a reservation/order online, and by sheer definition of the word, a reservation indicates the product is being held for me to pick up at the specific location I booked at. The day before I received 3 different updates that the location had changed because where I had booked no longer had the trailer I reserved. I had no idea where I'd be going or if I'd even have a trailer the day of my major move, which was extremely stressful! If there is a better option other than UHAUL next time I will be looking elsewhere for my move.

Well when I first arrived at this uhual location they told my my rental was at a different lot and would need to go there to pick it up. I asked how far and they said not far at all. So me and en employee began walking about 15 minutes in the cold. We then reach the lot and he simply points to the truck then turns around leaves. The lot the rental was in was blocked off by another car and I had to call back twice to get help. I ended up waiting 45 minutes for them to figure this out and finally was able to actually drive my truck off the lot

They are a bit unprofessional and unorganized! I need another location in my area besides this one. It's an auto repair shop, not a uhaul.

I was lucky to find a parking space for my rental however there is no dedicated parking lot for rentals.

I booked a 15 footer and then I received a call telling me they didn't have that size truck I ended with a 10 footer. I was moving out of state so I had to fit what I could. I ended up throwing my bed away because it didn't fit. You guys need to track the trucks better and not book people for one thing and then give them another. Very upset about this.

Customer service needs to pay more attention to the caller instead of caring a conversation with their coworkers. I had to hang up twice due to lack of response, until a nice lady picked up and walked me though the whole return ordeal.
