The Key Drop off isnt the safest, but its a small town.
Mary UI reserved a truck for a Chilliwack BC location for a one way trip to Alberta. 2 Days before my planned trip I was advised by your Vancouver Head Office that "No trucks are permitted to leave the lower mainland area of BC for Alberta because too many are doing so". I had movers ready to assist me. I was able to find a truck in Penticton BC. Which meant a 4 hour drive to pick it up then another 4 hour drive to take it to my load up location. As well as the gas that I had to pay. I lost a day of packing and was forced to drive 8 hours unnecessarily. 604-325-6646 was the Vancouver number that told me I could not rent a truck in Chilliwack. Also your Vancouver office could not be understood as their English was terrible. I need to rent another one way trip for May 2025 but will not rent with U-Haul ever again.
Mark NBooked trailer for 24 hours, only to be told it had to be back after 7 hours. Paid full price for 24 hour service and couldn't finish my tasks with car trailer
CHRISTIAN MExtremely small location in cul-de-sac. No parking for 27' truck up front. Too close to other businesses with no parking signage. High risk accident area.

EDWIN AOwner was great. I originally dropped it off at the Dawson location as per reservation instructions. The owner at Dawson was polite but indicated I couldn't leave it there for whatever reasons and said I needed to go to Industrial. The owner at industrial was as confused as I was but was polite and accommodating.

Michael SNo personnel on site as it was Christmas Day (not an issue) and no issues with this drop off location but I won't be recommending U-Haul due to having the pick up location changed to another city last minute and it being a remote pick up. The online sign in is an absolute joke and phoning customer service was far from helpful. When I finally got access to the vehicle (an hour and a half later than the scheduled pickup) the truck only had a 1/4 of a tank of fuel. In the future I will avoid using U-haul at all costs.
Clifford CAll good except was charged high because I didn't fill Up Gas tank to its capacity volume I pick up … charging: 30. $ for labour and 37 for gas .. and yet I put 28$ of my own which I only had cash on hand … would like a refund of 58$ If possible…. Thanks … Will be reusing truck rental this Saturday coming…

DAVID MMy rental email guaranteed me a 10' Truck to be picked up in Summerland at 11am on Saturday November 30th. I was called the next day to be told I could pick up my rental in Penticton between 9 AM and 10 AM. When I got there they no longer had any 10 foot trucks available and I had to drive a 14 foot truck. What happened to the guaranteed availability?? The location was fine, the gentleman doing the paperwork was great.
Sarina SYou can actually make sure we have a booking and do not have to travel more than 2 hours to get what we are looking for when we have booked it 2 months in advance. We had to go to 2 different cities/towns to get the trailer and then had a flat tire after we got to Vernon, bc and had to call roadside service
KODY PThe truck cab was not cleaned from the previous user. There were clumps of long dog hair all over the seat, and floor along with dog marks on the dash and window As I have allergies to animals, I had to clean the cab before driving it on the long distance haul. Also the location was a mechanic garage and the owner/operator was trying to juggle both his car repair business and the UHaul rental business. This caused a log jam at the extremely small reception desk and there were 3 UHaul customers waiting for service/pickup.

LOUISE DMy reservation was lost, though we had an email confirmation of booking from the dealer. The minivan we booked for November 9, 9 am- 12 pm, was not returned. Kevin, the manager, never apologized. I received a larger vehicle instead which was much harder to navigate for me as a woman.
GALIA KThe van truck needs the brakes looked at they has a wobble under braking to them. The van was empty for the trip home. If there was any sort of load in the back of van the driver would have issues braking on hills. Also the heater was fully on hot all the time so truck cabin was uncomfortable. Had to open window and keep turning the heat off and on to regulate. This van needs to be fixed for the next rental.thx call me if you want more info

CLIFTON MThe person was there on a Sunday at 2 and did not seem pleased about it. He was mad at me for wanting to return my truck after hours and upset as he said I would park my trailer in the wrong spot and asked me to park it between two other trailers where the car hauler would not fit.
