Comment: Customer service was great. They helped me out a lot. I had to remove the trailer in order to load the van and reinstall it myself, they told me to come back so they can verify it was correctly done because they didn't want me to get into an accident. The employee named Elle or Ella did a really good job on making sure it was done correctly.

Our reservation was changed multiple times which meant changing the location of the pick up not having a truck available when it was supposed to and then all of a sudden it was available. Then when we went to return the truck that location that they selected was 15 miles away from our destination when they could've chosen one that was only 2 miles away from our destiny. And the technology aspect of it was a pain in the ass. What happened to the old days of just dropping the keys in a box and filling up the tank. Next time we will use enterprise. Very annoying experience

The trailer was way too big for my vehicle, staff was friendly but my car was definitely not rated for that trailer. Didn't use for the full day it was too heavy.

We rented a UHaul for Washington DC with a confirmed reservation over 3 weeks before our moving date. The night before our reservation at 8pm a representative called us to tell us that a truck was not available for us within a 50 mile radius. Our only option was to pick up a truck at 8am in Stafford, Virginia. This requires an extra 100miles (1.5hrs of driving) which made us late for our freight elevator reservation for move out for our building and other inconveniences, not to mention gas and time costs. Altering a confirmed reservation 12hrs before and only offering a solution that requires a significant amount of driving is unacceptable. I doubt we will be renting from Uhaul again after this experience.

THIS LOCATION was very helpful and got me what I needed. UHUAL it's self some how royally screw up everything. I reserved a closed in uhual to move and only had the weekend to do so. I reserved what I needed two weeks in advance in fredericksburg AND got the confirmation for it. Uhual moved my pick up to Troy VA HOURS away after leaving a voicemail saying they moved it from my preferred location in Winchester...... umm what. I couldn't get a closed uhual and had to make what I could get work but the people were friendly and helpful and made sure I was taken care of.

I was called the night before my rental was due. I am assuming you have an overbook function that left another customer with out a means to move.. Having been in this situation, I made sure your trailer was avalible at openeing the next day so that persons life could contienue with whatever did not happen as planed do to your system over booking.When I finished my check in the girl (aware of the effort made) let me know that u-haul does not have any way to discount orput on file any coupon or incentive for future rentals. The agent although young was very professional and was thankfull for my effort. I am not looking for a credit or 10% off just to make me happy. 10% is only 7 or 8 dollars. I dont care about that. I just see it as 2 customers of yours that might look somewhere else next time they have a need for services like yours. These days people take notice to companies that take in account our military and first responders. Your system appears cold. Your dealers can only make up for so much. I have always had great service from several dealers in my area. When theses things happen it appears your dealers carry the burden of your systems lack of flexability or compassion? I am guessing your dealers don't make enough to cover your cost of customer service when things go awry.

No customer service. When I told them about my experience they said tasty probably true and even showed me all the rentals. I don't care, if you offer a service, you should blame me for not being able to deliver. You should find a way to make it happen.

I rented vans from this location for years and I've never been disappointed , the vehicles are always clean - even the windshields. It would however, be nice if U-Haul supplied dealers with these vans closer to where I lived instead of box trucks (buckboard wagons) as I deliver flowers for weddings.

Cold and un-inviting. was checked in by a nice individual but did not follow through to let me know i was done. Ended up waiting for a while before i finally left. Called several times, was left on hold a long time and told i was charged extra. Over all I will not use uhaul again unless that is my only option. I am happy to tell my friends about my experience.

The truck was leaking and since it was raining it leaked onto our belongings. The lock was broken so we had to go buy our own lock to use.

Cell signal for Verizon was bad at location, made it harder to check it back in. Also the key drop box was pretty full and would have been easy for someone to take keys out of.

The lady that helped me should be in charge of training all Uhaul employees. Can do attitude and ensured we covered all options with a smile. Don't know her name, but sure you can tell from the computer system.

Uhaul is generally terrible and makes things as difficult as possible - sometimes even illegal (Centreville Rd Manassas location). I literally drove 45 mins out of my way to come to this location in Stafford because they are the only ones that get it right. I rent a trailer 4-5 times/year and this was the first good uhaul experience in years.

Make you online app user friendly. Took 6 attempts going completely through the checkin process to get the truck, 45 minutes in all. Webpage stalled out and had to start over again. Poor cell and poor wi-fi in the area. Doesn't make a lot of sense to charge extra for counter service here when the mobile app sucks.

I usually dont write negative reviews but due to unexpectedly strange negative behavior of the staff at front desk, I had to write this. Unfortunately, their rude behavior literally added a mount of stress and pressure to my day that was already full of strain. I am not going to go back again and wouldnt recoomend to any of my friends at least.

The online customer service was the worst I have ever seen in my life they had me drive 1 hour to get a truck then the truck was not there. They then told me to drive another hour in a different direction to get the truck then and hour and half back to the trailer I rented. The person at the location was a bale to get me a smaller truck that barely fit what I needed to move. Phone support was absolutely unacceptable. Why would I drive 5 hours all over the state to get a moving truck that I reserved 3 weeks prior.
