The UHAul truck had not been swept out of the… I had ask for a utility dolly (and they said they would have one) there was nothing… otherwise it was great

I will say u-haul did make things right because I did see a fuel adjustment on my final receipt. Overall, I am very satisfied with the rental transaction and do recommend U-Haul to anyone I know. I do want to add that the staff at Phelan Propane were kind a very helpful.

CURNELIUS KBetter security for the equipment is recommended. Truck had the gas siphoned out at the U-haul facility the night prior to pickup.

Damaris HThe facility was very neat and clean. The reps were amazing, friendly and very helpful. The truck on the other hand, had some issues. The truck needs a SEVERE wheel alignment. But most importantly, driving in the rain without any wiper blades is dangerously unacceptable! I was 20 min late returning the vehicle because I simply could not see while driving due to truck needing wiper blades replaced prior to my rental. It is actually California regulation to have proper wiper blades on these rentals. I was charged an "after hours fee" for returning the truck after hours. I was told I could return it at 8:30pm, due to visibility issues, I couldn't arrives any sooner than 8:50pm. I find it insulting that even though I am billed for a 24 hour period, I was still billed an after hours return fee even though the equipment was returned on the same day as the rental. My safety was at risk, and still punished for returning the same day (4 hours after rental) even though I persevered through the dangerous conditions due to issues outside of my control as far as NORMAL maintenance of equipment.
BRENT BExcellent experience. The truck I reserved was not here because the previous renter did not return it. The owner of this establishment drove to the nearest U-Haul and brought me a truck, treated me very well. I was surprised and yet very thankful.
