The pickup and drop off process is so incredibly tedious. In the app, I was asked to take a photo of my face and my drivers license when I reserved the U-Haul, and then again when I went to pick it up. Once I confirmed I was at the right pickup location, it goes through a rental qualification process? Why is this not done before I actually go to pick it up? That is a waste of time on the day someone is moving. Also, taking pictures of every angle of the truck when returning it is ridiculous. That seems like it's just so that someone who works at U-Haul doesn't have to do the actual work of inspecting the truck themselves. The whole process was extremely irritating on a day that is already stressful.

I tell him my name and he states never heard of you rather rudely. He asks me to check my reservation drop off location I show him that I am at the correct spot. He says well I don't know anything about this. Give me the keys you'll get a receipt emailed if I figure it out. Maybe a touch of customer service training could go a long way for this gentleman.

I have never been charged this in all of the years I have been renting u-hauls. The system was down when I picked it up so I had no way of verifying the fuel level prior to leaving, against their stated amount.
