Just minor improvements to the app. For example: I was in the act of opening the lockbox to receive my U-Haul key when it the app said to enter go to the instructed locker and enter the combination code to retrieve the key. Problem was, at the part of the truck pickup process, I was never given the locker # or the combination code so I had to chat with a representative to get it. After I was assisted, the app moved on and didn't allow me to continue with the pickup process by inspecting the vehicle which was supposed to be the next step. I didn't like that but I moved on anyways with my key and was searching for my truck but didn't realize what I was searching wasn't a license but rather the truck number was located on the top right of the vehicle. I wasn't aware of this so I called customer service saying that I couldn't find my truck and that was pointed out to me. I would recommend the app to indicate where to look to locate the vehicle. Or I may just be foolish as well lol. Either way, I'm sure someone else has made the same mistake. I also told the customer service representative about the app skipping the inspection step since I was a little concerned that could bite me towards the end when returning the truck but he assured me everything will be okay if all I see are normal damages that aren't anything alarming.

renea wThe U-Haul app and access to the 24/7 program is terrible. The app clears out any information you input if you have to close the app for any reason the app restarts the process you are on and loses any pictures that have been uploaded. It would also be helpful to have the option for verification prior to time of pickup up. We also ran into an issue getting the access code to the lockbox with the key, the app skipped that information and went immediately to the process to return the truck. All together, this caused us to not have access to our truck for an additional hour after we had reserved it two weeks prior. Lastly, same issues with the app upon returning the truck. The truck was fine, location of pick up was as expected, but the U-Haul app is terrible and not user friendly.

Reinaldo BAfter having my original order pushed back an hour (8am to 9am) and transferred without Uhaul contacting me, and then having the 2nd location cancel on me while enroute (9:12) bc he didn't have the size truck i requested, and then this 3rd location not opening until 11am. Which forced me to download there app which doesn't allow you to go back and have to reenter all my info (not user friendly) and costed me 2 hours of movers not able to do anything. Last time I'll use uhaul.

I was never given instructions on how to use the vehicle and the clerk never inspected it with me. The clerk complained about my 'list of complaints' after I reached out to U-Haul customer service and was not helpful. This location does not live up to U-Haul standards. I have now been double charged for the rental.

Arthur JThe van I rented had one thing that needs service, which is the fact the van pulls the right, which means it either needs a tire rotation, or a rotation and balancing, or an alignment. A majority of the highway I drove was straight, which is how I was able to discern this one factor. Besides that the van was a very smooth ride, and it maintained smooth and powerful acceleration on inclines without needing much gas in such instances, so obviously it was well maintained before I got it. Thanks for usage of such a vehicle.
Sergio MTrailer pickup and return location very difficult. Had to back trailer over curb into field. You required large pickup to tow but do not provide the room for the large pickup. U-Haul requiring scan of Driver License means you are liable if you are hacked. Don't tell me your system is secure; it's not, just like Home Depot, Target and others. Next time I'll look at other rental companies.

Brey BOur reserved truck was not at the agreed location for pick up. When they " found" one I asked them to bring the truck to agreed location that we would wait for it. She looked at me like I was crazy and said " we don't deliver trucks". We had to drive 30 miles to a different location to get a truck. We were text messaged that we'd be charged $20. If we didn't send a video of returning it to the same location. We had no way to do that. The truck was dirty. Very, very stressful experience yet BOTH location acted as if this was just normal?
