They did not have a truck for me there, so I had to drive 45 mins 1 way to another town because that was the only place that had a truck available. So 1 1/2 hours later plus extra gas, and had to move around my loader help because of all the extra time it took to get the rental truck.

I booked the trailer in Longview 5 days prior to pickup,however get a call 20 minutes before scheduled pickup time that none were available. I do not think it is acceptable to give someone 20 minutes notice. I had movers lined up and it further delayed our move to McKinney. This added cost and valuable time to a move. As we drove from ft worth I could have picked it up anyway without delay if given more warning

I said no reservation was for 10:00 and he said no so I told him I had paperwork as proof he stated he would like to see that. I provided paper with reservation number and time and he said well let me go turn everything on. We wasted time ........... Multiple times renting with Uhaul several times we have run into idiots you use to rent your equipment out!

The guy that runs it told us he could have done a better price if we hadn't of booked it online… (on our June 4th rental). He charged us $60 and gave us a larger trailer than we ordered saying that the only one he had had a wiring problem, but he would give it to us for the 4x8 price. Then he gave us a $1 discount. The trailer we rented on return trip on June 16th cost about $29 less for the same size. I'll choose another dealer in Carthage Tx next time.

Damon B.During our travels, it rained, and there was a leak in the U-Haul. Our mattress, multiple boxes, and other items were soaking wet when we unloaded them. I have tried to contact the General Manager in Lubbock, but I have not heard anything. Overall, I was not satisfied with the leak in the U-Hual. If there is anything that could be done (refund, discount, etc.) we would appreciate it. Merci.

The owner brought me a car dolly, a hitch bar and ball and helped me load jeep. Unbelievable service you dont see much anymore. Felt more like a friend helping a friend than a business.

Younda D.The last two trucks I have rented from different areas both smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. I traveled 1300 miles both times and it was almost unbearable with the migraine headache the smell caused. Other than that trucks were clean and ran well.

He checked everything to make sure all the lights worked and all the chains were properly connected. He knows his job and knows what to do and keeps a positive attitude. Fantastic man and a strong hand shake. I would recommend anybody use him to rent a u haul from.

They then sent me all over Longview looking for a trailer from other U-Haul dealers. After 2 hrs I finally found one in Carthage and got it but if I could give my overall experience a review with U-Haul it would be one star. I had family and friends waiting for almost 3 hrs to get a trailer that I had reserved for over a week.
