Fire the workers at that location, very rude. The trailer I got had snow in it (which I cleaned out) then when I arrived in FL and unloaded my belongings they were all moist, and road dirt and water had gotten into and around the door onto my stuff.. basically a very bad experience with the uhaul product and the place I got it from.

This is not the location I had picked for pick up. In fact this location is an hour from my preferred pick up location. I was renting an auto trailer for a car that does not run and the preferred pick location was the same city in which my car was. So instead had to have a family member drive an hour away to get the trailer and an hour back to the car. U-Haul refuses to help get the trailer closer even though they let me reserve it at the location I preferred with no notice of it not being available. Very disappointed, especially for the price just to rent an auto trailer for a day.

I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone. This location is fine and the staff was great. But U-Haul in general is expansive and tries to get money from you left and right. I used a U-Haul for about 8 hours and was charged $150. I am not pleased. When I rented a U-Haul in the past and took it hours away, it did not cost me nearly that much. What a rip off. Next time I’ll make a few trips with my pickup and save money. Ridiculous.

1. The waiting area could use some updating or even a good cleaning. 2. Take the smoking outside. 3. Be more attentive to customers coming in, the bells aren't enough. 4. Explain the policies, procedures, and charges to the customer. Positive- Securing a truck was quick and convenient. Establishment is across from a gas station.

The employee at this location on 9/28/19 was very rude and unprofessional. I made a reservation over the phone 2 weeks prior to the date. When I arrived to pick up my truck he told me that I didn't have a reservation, which I knew was untrue. After speaking with Amy from the reservation/traffic department she confirmed that I did indeed have a reservation but the renters prior to me never returned the truck and there were no trucks available for me to rent. It was frustrating because no one called me prior to my arrival to let me know. After I told the man at the store what Amy said, he continued to tell me that I didn't have a reservation even though it was clear that he was not telling the truth. He offered no resolution to the problem. Not even an apology. Instead, he apologized to the white woman behind me for her delay. I felt that he was very rude and dismissive towards me because I am black. Thank God, Amy was able to book a different truck at another location that was 15 miles away, which was inconvenient because i lived less than a mile from the Painted Post location. I had a deadline to move and had friends travel 2 hours to help me so I had no choice but to travel 15 miles to get another truck. I understand that it was not U-hauls fault that the customer prior to me didn't return the truck but the situation should have been handled differently. To blatantly lie to a customer is unprofessional. After he was confronted with the truth he continued to lie and be dismissive instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and offering any type of resolution. If it wasn't for Amy and Michael at the new location I would never do business with this company again! I hope that something is done about the horrible customer service at the Painted Post u-haul location.

We ended up going here as the UHaul on Corning Rd. in Horseheads NY did not have the trailer we ordered. I ordered ahead a month so there was no reason for the mess up. The girl in the office was rude and I won't go there again. The man in Painted Post was good.

I did what I was told to do when taking it back. I filled the tank to where it needed to be and was still charged extra fees. I also could not return it to a closer location. This place was the only one that had the size I needed for what was in my budget.

My appointment was for 7am and the staff did not get there until 7:12 so that I barely made it to my daughter's graduation. He did not know how to plug in the light cord, and just shut it in the door of my car "to make it look like it was plugged it." He didn't close the trailer door correctly so that it came open while I was driving and I had to pull over to shut it. Finally, the roof of the trailer was literally held together with wide silver duct tape. Not a good experience!

He accidentally charged me for insurance that I had already signed I did not want. He could not remove it or cancel my credit card and start the transaction again. it was a WASTE of money. My mileage was TWO MILES!!!!! Yes, that was correct. TWO MILES!!!

Rude and difficult over the phone when I called to confirm my reservation. Told me I had to arrive 1 hr before my scheduled pick up otherwise they would leave and I would not get my truck. Once I arrived however the two men working were friendly and helpful.

When a payment dispute arises, communicate the issue clearly and in a timely manner before you ambush them with erroneous payments. Communicate with pick-up locations to resolve simple clerical errors. Again, this was an otherwise fine experience. I appreciate the drop-off location backdating my after-hours drop off.

Need to update the rental address. The adress given is not the same address as to where precision motors and the pickup location really is. So you had to go to the location they say they are at to start the online process for pickup and than you have to actually go to where they physically are to finish the process. There was also a lot of unmarked scratches and dents on the u-haul and it was not cleaned very well. I found a pack of cigarettes on the floor board.

Haul scheduled me a vehicle to rent, even though the location was closed. They are never open on Saturday. But by chance, the owner saw me at his shop . So he drove in to see you f I needed something. So it worked out. He was very very helpful

I was sent here as an alternate location because my reserved location didn’t have my trailer. Then the clerk gave me attitude because his trailers were already reserved for other people. Like reservations matter with U-Haul. You get a confirmation then the day of your move you find out nothing is available. U-Haul is honestly the worst company I’ve ever done business with. Why do you even take reservations if you don’t actually reserve the equipment?
