The pick up location is different from the one I chose through the website. Nobody contacted me 24 hrs prior the pick up time to arrange the scheduling. The pick up location was 30 minutes away from the city I live in.

Better customer service. Gary was rude and had limited knowledge of the uhaul service. I had to call Kevin (uhaul service manager) twice to clarify information.

No explanation of truck controls or equipment. Couldn't see out of windshield due to dirt. Truck seemed to have excessive miles for a 3000 mile, 11 day rental.

Location was a good location for drop off. Attendant was very stand-of fish. I handed him the key and let him know of low air or a flat on the passenger side rear inner tire. He gave no response. I asked if he needed anything from me and he said no.

This has nothing to do with this locations on-site personnel but to the lack of communication interagency one side not talking with the other. This is unfortunate but I was charged $590 extra for a drop-off location here on top of my original fee. Original location was set up here but wasn't informed would be up charged this amount. Location that they sent to me the second time around was in Kerrville 27 MINUTES AWAY. That's right $590 for 27 MINUTES of travel. In any case, I sincerely hope this was just an isolated incident. Right now is a heyday for all moving companies Penske, Budget and UHAUL etc. They are calling it the Great Migration. Flight to quality. The saying goes in investing. Take your profits, because when you pig out you eventually get treated like a pig and get slaughtered.

The windshield was not sealed properly. It had blue painters tape holding it. There was a leak coming from under the passenger seat. The pick-up and drop-off process was long and frustrating. The app did not work correctly to allow pictures to be taken and uploaded. The process took 30+ minutes for each portion. Had to call the Uhaul customer service number to complete the drop-off so as not to be charged. I will not use Uhaul again with their current app.

A wrong part ordered is why I had to visit this location and rent a car dolly. In San Antonio the wrong hitch was delivered and this cost me the price of this rental plus a 85 mile trip and a waste of several hours time. Then I had to call back to get the refund that I requested when I left the original store, Part availability was going to be past my initial need date.. So another 85 mile trip was not required.. I will now order a hitch and install myself.

Operator refused to replace burnt out bulb. Gave misinformation regarding drop off time and did not do a damage inspection of the trailer. Later, he sent me a link to the haul site damage inspection which had expired by the time I saw it. I would tell anyone to avoid doing business him.

The original town I was to drop off the U-Haul in had two U-Haul locations one couldn't take trailers and the other was away for two weeks so I had to drive to the next location where no one was there either and then after a while someone finally got back to me and told me to just leave the trailer there and it would be checked in. I did not feel safe leaving it at this location so I took lots of pictures of the trailer, its location and condition because I have to cover my backside since no one was there when I had to leave.,

When you make a reservation for someone how about having the vehicle there for the customer like you agreed. We showed up on time to pick up a 20 ft truck, the lady said we don't have a truck. I had taken off work for two days to move my son to college. They said we can't help you at the location. After waiting on the phone foe about 30 minutes they sent me 50 miles to another truck at a closed location. Not a good experience wasted lot of time!

Make sure the guy that is hooking up the trailer actually hooked it up and does not fully hook it up to where your trailer falls off your hitch and goes underneath your truck on the highway. The U-Haul shop I went to needs better customer communication skills they have none at all and when you have a problem all they can tell you is called the manager Kevin and he will not call you back either like he tells you.

Employee lied. I reserved a 26 foot truck and I got a 20 foot. I lost out on my furniture. Very unhappy. I will never use this service again. Will never recommend anyone. It was an awful journey.. Uhaul is no good. Don't go there.. They are liars liars liars

Get them the equipment that they requested. I would have been fine going to a location 10 - 15 miles away to get the correct size truck. You had already switched me to a different location then the one I selected. Then I wouldn't have had to leave stuff behind.

The man at the counter was rude. He asked questions that I had completed on line so that I would not have to be inside (due to Covid) any longer than necessary. When I asked if they had checked the tire pressure and fluid levels--he said they didn't do that! He told me to go over the truck for damage but would not walk with me to note damage. Inside of cab had dirt on floor. They said gas was full but actually it was only 7/8 full! Overall, just plain rude! I went to another U-Haul when I left and they checked tires and fluid for me--Boerne U-Haul on 1034 N Main Street. Super nice in comparison!

None of the equipment was out in the van when we got there. No one inspected the truck before we took possession of it. When trying to turn the ac on the knob crumbled and the ac was going in and out.

I had to pump up one of the tires on the trailer. It had less than 10psi in it. After that the trailer was fine for the entire trip. I have used U-Haul many, many times and have come to expect average customer service. It seems like every clerk is learning how to use the software for the first time.

Pick up was easy, very friendly and knowledgable about the equipment!! Drop off in Richmond, Va was a breeze also!! GREAT SERVICE ALL AROUND!!

The location is not a regular U-Haul place. It is small and not real nice but that's ok. The reason I would not recommend this place is because they rented me a trailer with one of the tires very very bald. We did not look at the tires when we were inspecting the trailer for damage which turned out to be a huge mistake because only about two hours into our trip that tire had a blow out which cost us a lot of time in our very long trip. We had another blowout later into the trip which costs us another four hours waiting for the repair guy to get there. He had to completely change out the brakes on the wheel and the ball bearing assembly in the wheel hub. The wheel caught on fire and could have been extremely devastating for us if all our belongings had perished in a fire because of the ball bearings and bad brakes. All in all it was a very frustrating trip.

Manager was not concerned that the car dolly malfunctioned which resulted in causing my front bonnt to be ripped from the car. He was willing to come out and let us show him how it failed. He said that he just check equipment out and in.

I'm told that the locations are not responsible for the condition of the vehicles. This one still had twine tied around the sides from the last renter, an obvious sign that no one looked inside when it was returned. It is the roughest riding truck I've ever rented and I was fearful that my load would be turned to dust by the time I arrived (everything was fine, thanks to a good loading by myself and a friend.)
