Samantha VI was never told what time I needed to return the truck, just the day. Also, the gas reading was put in incorrectly at drop off so I got charged an extra $63 dollars. Not happy about that at all. The lady I spoke to at drop off was rude.

Even though she was not supposed to interact with us, she wanted to tell us to move it to make her life easier. Very lazy and unprofessional. This location also resulted in my overage. Why isn't Peace Frogs in Gloucester ever available when I choose a drop off location?
Janine PTruck wasn't dirty but there was dust on dash and light dust/dirt in floor board. Not sure what clean is for moving truck but it was clean enough. Even though there was a person inside and building open, I had to check in with app.

Aaron WYour App Sucks. when I tried to use the App when picking up the truck, my credit catd was hacked. When I tried to use it to turn in the truck, it wouldn't let me confirm the turn in location. Thank God for the assistance of the site owner who finally processed the turn in!

JULIE JVery nice and accommodating personnel! They assisted in the rental drop-off, as well as making sure I wasn't charged for the mistaken milage/technical difficulties. The nice woman went as far as to call customer support on my behalf! I am very glad that they were in-store on a Sunday, because I wouldn't know what to do without them!

NAJEE WNot the return place but the return process was too long and painful. Too many photos, too much time after a lot of DIY moving.

There as an issue with the app (AS ALWAYS) and the only way he knew how to return the equipment was through the app. I understand the app when it works correctly but yesterday it didn't. So then I call customer service and after being transferred 4 times I was told the only thing they can do is email the regional manager and let them know the equipment has been turned in. Every person I talked to all referred to the app that wasn't working. It didn't seem like they were listening to understand but they were just responding
Andre EWhen I completed my reservation online I unselected the insurance coverage since I have coverage through my car insurance company. The person who checked me in at the store changed my selection and I had to pay the fees for insurance coverage.
Steven BThis is an authorized dealer or something. The woman at the counter was helpful and was able to switch out my vehicle. First off, my biggest complaint with U-Haul is how much I was quoted. I was expecting to pay around $300 for the rental and then when I get there to get the truck it was about another $100. I wasn't expecting that cost. The woman behind the counter was helpful in explaining why the bill was larger. When I first inspected the truck I was supposed to receive, it was dirty and had roaches in the back. I brought this to the woman's attention and she quickly changed me to a different truck. The second 26' truck I received didn't have any roaches, but the cab was pretty dirty. With this location being an authorized dealer and not an actual U-Haul location, I don't know what the expectation is to have the vehicles clean. Also, the extra equipment I rented (small dolly and a dozen blankets) were not ready to go in the truck. I know this is a lengthy review, so thank you for taking the time to read through it. My last comments are about the storage that you provided. I called to see if the location could change to something more convenient for our move (bc essentially we are having to move twice). More convenient being something in Jacksonville, NC. The people on the phone were helpful to a point but they weren't their in the store and they could not tell me what was actually available or not, or that the units at the location they had changed me to were "first come, first serve". I bring this up because of how much time was wasted driving back and forth.

Dylan TI dropped the trailer off at 12:30 PM on a Friday. The trailer wasn't even due for another 26 hours. The lady at the store told me to park on it on the side then come in and finish up. When I went back to to go in the store she had locked it up and left (all within 10 minutes). I then received a receipt the next day where I was charged by her a $20 fee for "after hours return!" I called and talked to her and said her "rep" told her to do this for a "convenience charge." This is nowhere in my contract. I paid $170 for a one way rental and returned earlier to the specified location on the contract. What convenience am I paying for?? I know it's only $20 but it's the principle that this company is ripping people off. I will be filing a formal complaint and seeking arbitration. This is bad business and I'll spread it like wild fire. I have the resources to do so.
Charles CThis was the location specifically designated for the drop off. We had to drop it off after-hours, so we had no interaction with the personnel and did not enter the facility.
ina mI had to cross Coleman Bridge and pay a toll. I was not happy, The dolly I requested was not in the truck. I was very disappointed. I requested a dozen blankets. There were only 4 in the truck. This was a problem.
