Outstanding customer service and this location is highly recommended.
Mark KIt took over an hour and three representatives to get a truck picked up. The 24/7 pickup is a joke.

AMY H | Expérience généraleThe app did not work, which is not the location's fault. It took 30+ minutes each way to pick up and drop off because the app didn't work. In addition, the windshield wiper flew off on a day it was raining, so that proved very difficult and dangerous
Joshua FTwo major issues -- #1 the truck is advertised as a 15ft length (inside dimensions) but the floor is only 12,5ft long. If you add "mom's attic" it totals 15, but this is a bit of false advertising. Issue #2 -- the truck had a horrible front end alignment issue and the steering wheel shook violently any speed over 30mph. Because I needed at least 14 foot length, I had to return the truck and rent a 20ft truck from a different location. Not only was this an additional expense and a wasted time for me, but I had already fueled up the 15ft truck and wasted money on fuel I did not use, returning it fuller than I got it. I would like Uhaul to reimburse me for the wasted 15ft rental, insurance I paid, and the extra fuel I added to the truck.
Brian BUsing the app for pick up on a Saturday morning was a horrible experience. Took me over an hour. Bring back the humans!

ANNA SHad to wait over 40 minutes just to get the code to get through the gate to be able to access the uhaul. After waiting a long time with customer service they were finally able to assist me.

I rented from Red Top U-Haul a few years ago and I'm so glad I used them again. I was surprised when I walked into the office. I expected it to be dumpy looking. Lawanda had it beautifully decorated w/a bisro table & chairs, lovely fall decorations everywhere w/lots of pumpkins and a patriotic theme intermingled. Such a welcoming feeling when I walked in. Especially for a woman in a man's world. It put me at ease immediately. A nice touch was the large bowl filled with Hershey chocolates. Lawanda was great she made me very comfortable during the transaction. Highly recommedable.

Ananta AThings went smoothly overall. We were just a little frustrated that the uhaul didn't have the furniture dolly in it that we had requested and laid for. We actually had to drive to another center to get that knowing we were paying for mileage/gas.
THOMAS BI rented a storage unit for nearly 2 years. No issues in that time and they were willing to work with me, not only when moving in to my 2 units, but helpful and understanding when moving out. Would certainly recommend to anyone needing a storage unit in the area.

The office was closed since it was Sunday and they never updated in their system which truck they gave me. This caused me several hours of being on hold with UHaul throughout the week and many issues.

Steven SThe amount of time we had to spend trying to get the truck was way longer than expected. The first time we tried to get to get the documents "verified" and having to have another contact was ridiculous and the person kept telling us to go inside despite the fact that we had submitted contact info for a person and they had received a phone call from u haul twice! Once she denied us and we tried again, the process was <5 min and I really appreciated the new person helping us out and being efficient. Had it been as smooth from the beginning, would have made moving day a lot better not having to spend an hour trying to obtain a truck. Especially when we had already uploaded a drivers license the day before and the person had no other ways of helping other than saying to go inside ( when the office wouldn't open for another 1,5 hours)
Paul RTruck was locked in lot upon arrival. Place did not open at scheduled time either. Was tossed around a few times until they sent someone to Red Top Self storage. No apology and quite rude once they eventually showed up. Was able to pick my truck up an hour late. Miserable and unprofessional from a UHaul affiliate.

jessica bThere was a bit of confusion over the keys. Plus I found a key set (not to the truck I was renting) and it was a little difficult to figure out how return them. But the facilities are clean and they do a good job.
William HThe only negative thing about this place was that there was an error in my beginning mileage. I know because I took a picture of the odometer when I left. The beginning mileage that they wrote down was 12 miles short. I saw the error after I left and didn't bother to go back and haggle for something under $10.

Nancy CI was required to fill the tank back to full before dropping the truck off. The truck was full when I left the local turkey hill. Apparently driving the 3 miles was enough to have them charge me $8 for filing it up. What I suspect is they looked at the gauge and assumed it was not full. That model ford van, the needle will not move any higher despite it just being on the white line. I'd dispute the charges but its $8, which is why I think they do it. its such a little extra charge they get to keep with out really adding any gas, no customers want to fight it. I will never use this location. considering Enterprise again when we buy a house since we will be local.

Kristal DMade reservation a week before, but the day of pickup was told that my pickup location had changed. 25mi in the wrong direction! Then had to wait almost a hour for the new location to open! The new pickup place was not clearly marked as a UHaul store. Trailer was fine.

Eric SWhen I returned the truck with the five furniture pads I was given from uhaul (not the original 24 I paid for) I was charged $100. They had zero employees in sight at 12pm on a Tuesday (9-5 hours are inaccurate) so there was no one to talk to in order to complain. I was charged $100 for furniture pads I never received and my furniture has been damaged.

Jim MThe trailer needs a jack / stand. It was extremely difficult to hook / unhook by just picking up the end of the trailer by myself. Someone could really get hurt doing this, and someone without much strength never would have been able to even hook it up.
Jeffrey MThis was a total disaster when it came to billing. I have been over charged TWICE, and if the bill is not corrected for the third time, I will contact my attorney. This UHaul states that it is open until 12:00 noon on a Saturday. I called this UHaul and no one was there at 11:57 AM, yesterday Saturday March 4, 2017. The individual told me that she was on her way to York, PA. REALLY???!! That is lousy customer service. I am DEMMANDING MY MONEY BACK!!! Sincerely, Miss Lisa Kayser
