Used app to get my key prior to the office being open. My lock box was empty. Called customer servive and they tried giving me different codes for 2 other boxes. 1 was already open the other I could not open with the code provided. Had to cone back 1,5 hours later when the office opened or drive 25 mins to next location for a truck. I chose to return being that the move was a total of 5 miles and 30 mins of work.

The pick up and drop off was extremely easy, no complaints. However the truck itself had several issues. The steering was loose, truck needs an alignment. Finally the brakes really need to be looked at. When I brought this up to the location managers attention he didnt seem to really care...all he said was all they do is replace the tires. Never had that for a response before. I would have expected for the manager to say I will report it to U-haul and have them look at it. I'm glad I was not using the vehicle for more than an in-town move. This truck really needs to be looked at, as I believe it to be on the verge of being unsafe.

The original location was not ready with my order resulting in me having to travel to a different location and be late for my movers. Additionally, I was charged for pads I never received, and did not get a waiver on mileage or gas despite the different location. Very frustrating and unprofessional experience.

The rental did not come in time and we used a different vehicle for 3 hrs while my brother was in town to help. We were told we would get for quoted price as it was not our fault. On both vehicles we were charged $39,95 and an extra day despite all they had to do is do 1 day on one vehicle and 1 on another. I emailed the address to address the pricing with no response. Next step is to advice credit card they charged me too much. I will never use uhaul again.

Upon arrival 15min early to pick up, I had to locate the lone location employee/owner, who wasn't aware of my UHaul booking. I booked a 10' truck several days prior, but it wasn't on-site, a previous customer still had it & would do a late turn-in the next day. Employee declared my order had to be cancelled, then rebooked from scratch to offer me the available 15' truck. I asked if my order could be edited/altered to accommodate the larger truck for the same price I had booked (don't charge me for another customer's issue, give what I asked for or larger at the price I already agreed to). He stated he didn't have a choice, he had to do it this way and I'd be paying normal rate for the bigger truck. Either this was the employee misleading & squeezing me for for a higher rental charge, or UHaul's booking policy/process is absolute trash. Plus, you're already making more money off the previous customer who is returning the 10' late; but I'm gonna get screwed as well? Either way, I've been a service member at Joint Base MDL since 2007, and I'll be steering fellow military members away from this specific location, from local UHauls in general, and recommending Penske, Budget, Enterprise, and any more reputable option.

I received no paperwork at the pickup location. I was told I would receive it electronically that never happened ! While inspecting the truck before leaving the site there was some damage I wanted noted I was told he was out of stickers to mark the damage and not to worry about it .the front right tire was low on air making it hard to drive by time I got home 15 minutes later it was flat !

Stop selling Uhaul services; I,e; movers that you can't or won't deliver. Be available to discuss remedy and refund.

I can't truthfully know whether the business is above average because I didn't have much interaction with the workers. They were very respectful & compassionate after I told them about canceled movers who drove up my moving expenses. They offered to help me reach the Uhaul main toll free phone workers because my calls weren't adequately answered or returned. These people tried to do “damage control” and for that I am grateful

The online reservation was easy and seamless; however the online pickup was horrible 😦. Setting up an account is required. Taking a picture of my license, at the site was disappointing. I previously entered the info, but don't recall a request for a picture. After several attempts to complete the info. I was waiting for approval for over ten minutes. Fortunately. Debra, from Reliable Auto, was still in the office two hours after closing on a Sunday! She assisted us with the photo and after 40 minutes, still had to do an over the counter rental. She was invaluable in this process.

This has nothing to do with the location only that UHAUL scheduled my service over the phone, didn't send me a confirmation email or receipt of estimated charges until after I dropped the trailer off. I spoke with numerous associates about the 2 day extension and ended up having to pay for 3 days. I scheduled pick up for a location 15 minutes from my house, and paid to reserve the trailer however the day before pick up I received notification I had to drive an hour away from my house to pick up. No one asked or called, and the manager I spoke with said to me "this is what we got, so you have to go here" she was rude and discourteous. the only good part about this experience were the two members at the pick up and drop off locations. I have no intention of using Uhaul again, nothing but a hassle!

I rented a truck for 5hrs. 21miles total. Never received a copy of contract, was told would be in truck when I did pick up. Was not. Was told 40 plus miles. Now come to find out more around 150 not the less than a hundred that I was told. Very disappointed in the way your company was represented in this rental. Not sure if I will use Uhaul again after this.

The vehicle had warning lights on. The lady assured me that I was safe but I would think that the mechanic should have fixed any issues prior to my rental. This whole process was a nightmare. I called Greens office supply to schedule this rental and was told that I would be texted a code to get the key. At no time was I informed that the truck was at a different location. I finally got through to customer service, who was very helpful, and explained what I needed to do and where the truck was. I get to the location and of course the online application doesn't work. It's telling me I have no reservations. The lady inside found my order but couldn't get the key out of the box for 15 minutes. Then at drop off, same thing, couldn't check the vehicle back in because it said I had no reservations.

This was not the location stated in my contract and we almost dropped the truck off at the wrong location. This location was closed and honestly, I didn't even know it existed. It is conveniently located.; however since it was closed I cannot answer two of the questions.
