I selected the contactless, mobile check in option. It didn't work. I tried to check in online but it would show a failure to load screen. This was not a service provider issue. I tried resetting the app and the phone, nothing. I had to go in and ask to check in, but he was already talking with other customers. Due to the inability to check in online, we started 40 minutes later than expected….

MAUREEN CTruck needs control arm bushings, an alignment, and there's a weird noise I think is the tires, but overall for a well used truck it served its purpose.

Alyssa TThe check engine light was on for the whole trip - the tire light was on for much of the trip. When I reported it, the manager said he had not been given the authority to make the engine repairs although he runs a vehicle repair and maintenance business. Otherwise the truck was in good shape. The manager is terrific - helpful, understanding and easy to work with.

ritchard cI rented the uhaul while it was dirty and was charged a cleaning fee along with gas fee. I fueled up the tank to where it needed to be before I returned it. The cleaning fee is ridiculous because the uhaul was horribly maintained. The seats were torn and unkempt. Not recommended again.

Richard BThe man who runs Reliable was great. Nice, kind, courteous. Very helpful in hooking up the trailer. Last U-Haul location I was to - I was on my own. Luckily, I already knew how to hookup a trailer and use it. However, when a particular trailer is ordered a month in advance - find a way to get it to the location it is ordered to. I ordered the 5x8 enclosed trailer - which is all I needed - ended up with the 6*12 - causing my tolls to double - and weight to be higher than I wanted. If all I can get is a 6*12 then I will not rent next time because I can get a 6*12 from work for FREE. And it is single axel not double! The trailer ordered not being on location at Reliable is not Reliable's fault it is U-Haul's.

Anthony FWas rescheduled twice after making a reservation,then charged twice for the extra mileage, no receipt sent to my email, now I have to go back to get this taken off my account. I was charged twice 54,99 for the extra miles, not happy. I was quoted 151 I went 50 miles over I was charged 203 , then I was charged 54,99 , and no receipt , I feel like I was robbed very frustrating. I read reliables review this is not the first time that this has occurred.

Maria AThe seatbelt light kept coming on even though I had my seatbelt and passenger side clicked. The tire pressure gauge sensor light stayed on the entire time. I tried to put gas in it and it filled up only a gallon and a half in and the gauge did not show I put any gas in even though it was going down. However, the owner/operator was very friendly and professional and these things were not his fault. The parent company has to maintain this vehicle better.
Robert LThe electronic system was not working correctly. Kept getting messages about seatbelts, trailer pull, tire pressure, etc. We filled the gas tank over what was in the tank when we got it. I was charged $9,5 for 2 gallons of gas!!!

Kim SExplain all charges up front before the vehicle is rented. Many of the fees I was charged were unexpected. Only make trucks available from places that are open 7 days a week or have a person available to at least answer the phone in case a customer accidentally locks something in the truck and returns the key. I had to rerent the truck and extra day for this reason!

Karl WI was over charged for an extra day and was charged a cleaning fee when the truck was completely cleaned out and swept out. No liquids were ever in it so there was nothing spilled in it either. Over $80 after taxes that should not have been charged.

Justin LUhaul called less than 24 hours before pick up that they had to change the location, which was 45 minutes further away (one way) from where I was originally picking up and had to go. They also gave us a much larger truck that we did not want. When I arrived, they stated they didn't have the mattress covers I requested and the gas tank was empty. I was told I was lucky to even have a truck.

MEGAN BOverall this was a terrible experience with Uhaul. The website said the truck would be ready by 8am, but the business we picked up from does not open until 9am, the truck broke down 2 hrs into the trip, the Uhaul place it was towed to did not offer another truck to finish out our trip, we had to have our employees picked up by a family member to bring them 2 hrs home, then have a manager drive them all the way back up to SaddleBrook, NJ (where the truck was towed to) to get that same "repaired" truck back. We lost 2 days 1 of travel, 1 of work, so our project pushed back 2 days. Which lead to extended hotel costs and expenses. Uhaul on line was useless and so where the customer service associates who we spoke with. Which by the way was whenever they felt like picking up the phone. Hold times were from 15 to 40 minutes when I gave up waiting.. Uhaul should be ashamed of how they treated our business and when I called for a credit on the day the truck broke down, I was told that it was part of the agreement?? That's ridiculous!! We will NEVER use Uhaul again and would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
charles pWe had issues at pick up with our contract being canceled for pick up, and then there were issues with the ignition turning on and the drivers seat belt not connecting properly so it dinged at us. I wanted the site to call as the main uhaul person said there was nothing they could do.. well no one followed up, nor was a discount applied for the inconveniences/safety issues we faced. Will not rent from this location again without a call and apology for their lack of attention to our needs

Ron and his wife went above an beyond to get me a truck while I was having uhaul issues and came from Philadelphia. Uhaul not so much ... but when I need my car fixed I'm going to call reliable auto.

kelliann nEverything was good. But we were unaware when we picked the truck up that it did not have a ramp. That made moving very complicated. I would recommend making sure you have a truck with a ramp.
Angelina MThe trailer I rented was dirty and had to be swept out. The trailer also blew the trailer brake light fuse in my truck. I've been renting trailers from UHaul for years and never had one blow a fuse. The people at this location were nice, efficient, and friendly. Just check the equipment for dirt and maybe check the electronics on the trailer and we have a 5 stat location!
Alan GReservation was booked for 3 pm and I told them I can try to make it for 2:30-2:45 but me being in the military and constantly busy I showed up exactly at 3 which isn't late it's on time and he still seemed upset and had an attitude over the phone.. and then I used the van and noticed the back door was messed up and not closing and they tried to blame me and said "I kept trying to close the van door even though it didn't close." DUH I'm gonna try to close the damn door because I don't want my shit falling out while I'm driving nor get stopped.
