The gas gage stated 3/4 full, but it was only at half. The cab had gum and pet hair. I removed the gum and vacuumed. Also the cargo bay had quite a bit of dirt, so I swept it before returning. Could not print a invoice for me on returning van.

Ken W.Check engine light was on, check fuel cap was on, completely on empty at pickup… ordered and paid for 2 dolly's and never even got one even after double checking with the guy who cashed me out assuring it was in there. Returned it and told the lady I never got the dollys and she says no problem I'll take care of it. Get the receipt emailed and got charged for 2 dollys and had to sit on the phone for 30 minutes to fix it. Trash and an old burrito in the center console藍 clearly they never checked the truck I got before renting it back out.

Danny H.Truck had a bad shake and transmission noise. We started at another location. Sent to another. No one ways available, had to drive 230 extra miles at 79 cents per mile in a lousy truck. We will never use you again. We have another truck needed and we will use enterprise next time.
DANIEL L.Was 10 minutes late opening, delaying my pickup time, tried to drop off Sunday since the internet and the sign on the door said they would be open, they were not. Two days after drop off I saw they had added $25 to my card. I called and first they tried and say it was for the insurance, it was not and insurance was only $16 on this trailer. Then they tried and argue it was because I was 2 1/2 hours past my 48 hour rental time. I informed them that I had sent a email from work a few minutes after I dropped off trailer and could prove I had dropped on time. They finally took charge off but I feel like they were trying to scam me. Horrible experience will definitely choose another rental business for any future needs.
Michael C.There was no one in the office when we arrived to return the vehicle. I went back into the shop area where they repair vehicles, and found someone who was willing to accept the keys but they did no inspection, or even care to look at my paperwork.

Daniel B.The whole experience was terrible I will never rent a U-Haul again in my life ended up charging me twice as much as they originally quoted me cuz they got their miles wrong told them we needed 2 000 miles one way but had to bring the truck back so obviously that's going to put another 2 000 miles on it tried calling them tried calling corporate and get you nowhere waste of time save your money on mileage go to Penske a little more per day but I'm unlimited mileage and a whole lot better customer service like I said never again will I ever rent U-Haul

Glennda M.The personnel at Rent a Wreck were very friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience safe and efficient. I believe a man named Danny helped me and was quick to answer questions and explain how everything worked with the trailer. Additionally, a Uhaul representative was there (perhaps named Kyle? Not sure) who assisted me in making sure my tire pressure was correct for the load I was hauling, and personally inflated each tire as needed.. Overall it was was a fantastic experience.

Edward S.You all were pleasant to work with. Even when I changed my mind to a larger unit. There were people available to help out even when I returned the trailer at 8:15 pm. I was so grateful to see the wrecker pull up towing a car at the same time. I was able to let him know I returned the trailer. He replied with a smile, "thank you and I'll move it from the middle of the lot." I couldn't back it into a spot amid other trailers.
Holly L.1). Unfortunately I got a flat tire and there was no special tool kit to remove the spare tire. The kit was missing from behind the passenger seat. 2). I was quoted a price of $317 over the phone, but then with extra fees, etc. the price was actually more like $420 when I picked it up. 3). I was told to return the truck with 1/4 tank of gas and I would get a $35 credit. This seemed a little weird since the tank was on empty when I picked it up. Furthermore, when I asked for clarification "does that mean if I bring it back with more than 1/4 tank that will be fine?" the guy said no it needs to be at 1/4 tank (again weird but OK). When I returned the truck, and asked about getting my return, the lady said she'd have to check in the vehicle and as long as it had a 1/4 tank, I'd get the credit later (hmmmm). I'm just hoping that happens. 4). When I took the flat tire in for repair the shop that did the work told me there was already another patch in the tire. Does the tire work? Yes. Do I think Rent-a-Wreck should put a new tire on there - Yes! It now has 2 patches in the same tire. 5). I called Uhaul's helpline 1800gouhaul and the gal there said I could submit the receipt (for fixing the flat) for consideration of repayment. I'm hoping Uhaul will come through on this too. In the end, I'm thankful that Rent-a-Wreck Uhaul got me out of a pickle as my car had broken down on a cross country trip to Western Montana that I've been planning for more than a year. I just wish I would have been notified of the hidden fees, the gas tank would have been left at the same level I was expected to leave it, and the fuel credit would be instant while I was still there vs hoping it happens later. Brian C.Although the gentleman inspecting the truck was professional, he was very cold. I told him if my experience both with the truck and in losing my wallet (which was found at a hotel and being returned via mail) and that I had just received replacement of my Discover Card. He then said that the credit card he had on file was no longer valid. Duh! Lost wallet = cancellation of card. I used my Discover and he said it was invalid. He made me feel like I was trying to get away with something. After speaking with a Discover Rep. it turned out his cc machine was causing the problem. Finally it was done correctly. DON'T EVER WANT TO FEEL LIKE THAT AGAIN!

Eric S.UHaul changed the pick-up location on the day of pick-up. This was done after my request to change the day had been ignored. The new location was a gas station with an attendant that had no interest in helping me. After trying to call U-Haul and being put on hold multiple times for 20-25 minutes I went to the original pick-up location. They were kind enough to help me. Then, after being totally ignored when calling U-Haul for help, they started texting and calling me to ask when the trailer would be returned... FU.

Christopher H.Took about an hour to get the trailer I reserved online in advance. When I went to pick it up, only one person knew how to use the computer to do the paperwork, and instead of that person helping, she kept answering the phone and barking at the other person. When they finally got that done, I tried to hook the trailer up, and was yelled at "WE have to hook it up". I then watched her stick her fingers in the tongue, with full trailer weight on an uncoupled ball. I asked her to remove her fingers so she wouldn't become permanently attached to my truck. I forced my way in to get the ball to couple properly. She hooked up the chains incorrectly, and when I asked her to cross them she said "oh yeah I meant to do that". These are safety issues, and if you're not properly trained, then keep your hands off of the equipment, and let me handle it. Will not return.
