The young lady was making sandwiches and had me checked out with a good clean UHaul and full gas and oil and body inspection walk around and I was on my way in just about 15 min. Very Curtius as well even upon my return.Harry H.
The person working had zero knowledge about checking in a uhaul drop off. We had to leave it there on blind faith that it would be entered into the computer system as dropped off on time. We dropped it off a day early. We received no receipt via paper or email.Joseph L.

We picked up a 6x12 trailer and the ball hitch was so rusted that it took a hammer and lubricant to loosen it to get it loose to put on. We had to try 2 different cords to get the lights to work and we could never get the right turn signal to work. The girls in the store tried to help us and it was not their fault it was rusted. They were great just need to maintain the equipment better.Jared H.

I returned the trailer to Laney"s Garage in Spencer, MA and they were very rude and stated they only took trucks, not trailers. The owner called his boss and the boss said it was okay to leave the trailer. I will never do any sort of business with Laney's for ANY purpose again. I was satisfied with the service at Reubens in Milo, ME.William U.

I rented a 15' truck, got a confirmation number, and they put the wrong date in the system for pick up, so when i showed up they had rented it to someone else. I got a 10' one instead and all my stuff didnt fit. So now i have to take a day off from work to finish moving.I was told id get a discount because of this. I did not i was charged full price. Also they calculated the milage wrong. I gave them the exact addresses to and from. I was charged 28 miles over on drop off. I will never rent from uhaul again and i will never recomend you to anybody. Moving is stressfull enough and uhaul made it 10 fold more.Kieth S.

I live 4 miles away from this U-Haul rental location. They generally have the type of rental I'm looking for. They are always helpful and accomodating.RICK B.
The employees at this location were not notified that the truck was being rented. The young woman, Karen was very helpful, but unfortunately she did not have any experience handling rentals so she had to call several different U Haul agents in order to complete the rental. This, of course added quite a bit of waiting time, It took at least 45 minutes, maybe more, to complete the process. Why were they not notified by U Haul that I was coming to pick up the truck?Janice L.
The ladies in the location were wonderful! Very helpful and friendly. The truck itself was fine but someone didn't clean it before putting it back in the lot. We had to clean out dry cat food and cat hair from the front seat.Katie B.

Reubens was great. Their staff was very helpful when I arrived but nearly denied me the trailer when the decreased rating (5'x9' trailer rating lowered by 50 % to 760lbs for my smaller car, if I remember all those numbers correctly) was misinterpreted as a denial rather than a cautionary note. They said they denied an earlier customer for that same reason but we worked together to find the same level of understanding of the note. Maybe a friendly reminder to rental places about this difference would be useful to prevent customers from being turned away. Also, I initially tried to rent at Sterns Lumber in Millinocket but their actual hours differed from what is listed on UHaul's website. They must have recently closed on Sundays as their business hours posted on the door were scribbled over with black marker haha. Anyway, in the end, UHaul hepled me get done what I needed and I'm sure I'll be back.Justin W.

Rented a trailer online that wasn't available so I was charged 10 extra dollars for a trailer that was larger then needed. Slow check in and check out. Overal the trailer worked for what I needed but the amount of time wasted while standing around was crazyCougar B.

Please train all employees on how to use the UHaul computer system. I was at the location trying to pick up my reserved truck, for over an hour. I'm a super patient person, but I had a lot of people waiting for me at the location I was moving from. I think it was a lot more difficult than it should have been. The truck was clean, but smelled horrible of cigarettes.Heather H.

One clerk on duty. Did not know how to operate uhaul computer systems. I had reserved uhaul for this location on line. Express check in took over 1 hour while clerk kept being interrupted to sell walk in customers lottery tickets, cigarettes,candy bars and beer.George E.

Not her fault but it was a one woman show. She had to juggle the phone, uhaul reservations and customers for the store. The truck we originally got was defective so we got a truck much much smaller. Like I said not their fault just very inconvenient!Justice B.

We went to this location the night before we moved to reserve the uhaul-we were there for half an hour doing that because the woman behind the counter had no idea how to use the rental software on the computer. The morning of the move, it took an hour to get the uhaul. Even after reserving it. Because the woman did not know how to use the software. An hour on moving day is really a hassle and stopped us from getting several things done that day.olanna P.

I want to thank the staff at Ruebens for directing me to take the insurance on the truck because on my way back from my destination I got hit head on by a driver of a car that had fallen asleep. I had no where to go and she hit me headon - I would of been in a major mess if I would not of taken the insurance. Thanks to the staff for expressing how important it is to do it - doesn't matter how excellent of a driver you are you never know what is out there. I was babying that truck the whole way down and back and I could not believe what was happening when they hit me.elaine P.
